Jewelcrafting looks pretty great, even compared to other crafting professions! There’s a wide range of items you can craft, many of which have the potential to be great for gold making. Combined with specialization and quality systems, Jewelcrafting is much more varied and fun this time around.

First and foremost, there’s the usual — gems, trinkets, and jewelry. Gems can now offer bonuses for two stats rather than just one, as well as epic gems making a return. The trinkets and necklaces now have unique effects based on the gems you’ve equipped, which offer a wider variety for build customization.

A Tiered Medallion Setting was an excellent investment in the previous expansion — this item lets you add up to three sockets to your necklace based on its quality. Suppose high-quality gems and necklaces prove to be as good as Blizzard promises in TWW. There may be quite a high demand for such items, especially among the endgame players.

And last but not least, there are also profession gear and reagents that other primary professions will need. Since the tools directly affect the craft’s quality, the starting players will probably seek it out as soon as possible. Reagents are something that is constantly in demand, simply due to their consumable nature.
