Yes, the Armored Razzashi Raptor is still an available drop, even after the Zul'Gurub raid has been downgraded to the dungeon. The mount drops from the Bloodlord Mandokir boss fight in Heroic difficulty. However, it has an extremely low drop rate, which is what makes many players to question whether the mount drops from the dungeon at all.
Based on Wowhead statistics, the mount has less than a 1% chance to drop and only about 14% of the whole playerbase has it. Of course, the fact that Zul’Gurub has became a dungeon also means that the players can run it daily in attempts to get the mount, rather than having to wait for a weekly reset.
But just because the instance allows for more attempts to get the mount, it doesn’t mean that the players have more patience. Many players have spent hundreds of attempts trying to get it, some almost reaching the thousand before they did. Of course, there’s also nothing that says you can’t get it on your first try, but that would be some extreme luck.
To get the Armored Razzashi Raptor, you have to defeat Bloodlord Mandokir in Heroic difficulty of Zul’Gurub dungeon. Swift Zulian Panther is another 1% drop chance mount which similarly drops from Heroic Zul’Gurub, or more specifically, form the High Priest Thekal boss fight.
Luckily, the dungeon has an open structure, so you can just head straight to the boss you need if the mounts is all that you’re interested in. Sadly, there’s no way to increase your chances getting the mounts from the dungeon, other than having lots of patience and hoping for the best.
To get this mount, you have to enter the Zul’Gurub dungeon on the Heroic difficulty. However, the raid is so old, it shouldn’t give any troubles to the well geared character. If you’re up to date with current endgame, you’ll likely just oneshot every mob and boss in this dungeon. It does mean that you can run Zul’Gurub only once per day, but that is still better than when the instance was still a raid, which would’ve limited you to only one attempt per week.
