Initially, players had to explore the Naxxramas raid and gather Desecrated tokens from its bosses in order to acquire and collect the sets. However, when Naxxramas was later re-introduced in Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the newer T7 set took the place of T3, while T3 became completely unavailable to the players.

Luckily, it later changed with the addition of the Black Market Auction House T3 transmog. However, due to its legendary status, it’s extremely hard to get your hands in. In patch 10.1.5, to the game was added the old Naxx version with a vendor who sells boxes with a chance to get legendary sets. Way back when the game just came out, it was possible to get T3 sets from exploring Naxxramas raid, but after Naxxramas was repurposed for WotLK, T3 was taken out of the game. Years later, T3 was added to BMAH and to this day it remains the only way to get this gear.
