What is Ghosts of Desire in FFXIV?

Ghosts of Desire is the alliance raid series of Evercold, the next Final Fantasy XIV expansion. It is a crossover with Neon Genesis Evangelion, made with the anime’s studio Khara. The name is still a working title and may change before release. FFXIV Evangelion Raid Boost covers the first raid of the series under whatever name it ends up with.

Can I clear only one duty of Ghosts of Desire in FF14?

Yes. Each Ghosts of Desire raid has two duties, and you can pick: Full Raid — both duties in order; First duty — the first two bosses; Second duty — the last two bosses. The second duty needs the first one cleared on your character. FF14 Ghosts of Desire Duty Boost is a good fit for repeat runs for loot.

Will Ghosts of Desire have a Savage version in FF14?

Yes. The developers plan a separate 8-player Savage version of each Ghosts of Desire raid. It will be the first alliance raid content with a Savage mode. Savage comes out in a later patch than the normal raid, with its own rewards. This pre-order covers the normal 24-player version only.

When does Ghosts of Desire come out in FFXIV?

Evercold launches on February 23, 2027, with early access from February 19. Ghosts of Desire comes later: the developers plan its first raid for patch 8.1, and the wiki lists spring 2027. The exact date isn’t announced yet. FF14 Ghosts of Desire Raid Boost holds your spot until the raid is live.

How does the FFXIV Ghosts of Desire pre-order work?

You place the order now, and your spot is held until the raid comes out. After release, a chat opens to confirm: your character; the start time; the final raid details. You don’t need to do anything on release day. FFXIV Ghosts of Desire Carry starts once the raid is available in the game.
