As if the reputation this staff had in the lore and previous games wasn’t enough, its eventual unavailability made Atiesh a true treasure for any WoW collectionist. For many, many years, ever since the Wrath of the Lich King, there was no way for the players to get this legendary staff. Now, this is once again possible!
But the journey will be far from easy, as the players have to venture into multiple raids and kill some of the most challenging bosses of the Classic WoW. But Overgear and our professional boosters will help you beat anything that stands in your way!
Acquiring Atiesh involves completing a special questline. First, players have to gather 40 Splinters of Atiesh from Naxxramas bosses. Then, they have to kill C'Thun and Kel'Thuzad in their respective raids to get the parts of the staff. And finally, they have to venture to Stratholme and defeat none other than Atiesh himself to cleanse the staff of corruption. It’s also vital to be at least neutral with the Brood of Nozdormu, since Anachronos is the one who gives you the quest and gives the staff.
Being a magic staff, only a fairly limited number of classes could use the legendary Atiesh, that being Druids, Mages, Priests, and Warlocks.
Long time fans of Warcraft will undoubtedly recognize this iconic staff, once veiled by none other than Medivh, the Last Guardian — though the lineage of its users goes much further than that. Forged from the “seed of hate”, the staff was told to grant great power to its wielder, but also deemed cursed and even sealed away not long after Medivh’s death.
In terms of gameplay, it offers the player a few magical buffs, but its greatest features are the stat bonuses the weapon provides. It can also open a portal to Karazhan.
Atiesh doesn’t drop from a single enemy and instead has to be put together over the course of the special questline. Luckily, C'Thun and Kel'Thuzad drop the correlated Base of Atiesh and Staff Head of Atiesh with a 100% chance while the quest is active.
While players were able to get this legendary staff for their own collections back in Vanilla WoW, Khadgar is the actual current owner of the staff in the lore.
