Classic Era Naxxramas Boost

While Naxxramas was eventually relocated and slightly reworked during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the raid was actually released all the way back in Vanilla WoW in 2006. Now, in WoW Classic, the players can once again experience this legendary raid the way it once was!

Naxxramas is your main goal, ultimate challenge and final destination in WoW Classic. You’re expected to come in the best gear the Classic experience has to offer. But of course, the rewards would be even greater than that. While it’s problematic to list everything you can get in Naxxramas due to sheer amount of bosses and, consequently, the amount of loot they drop.

But some notable examples of loot include Tier 3 gear, Corrupted Ashbringer, The Phylactery of Kel'Thuzad, Might of the Scourge, Fortitude of the Scourge, Power of the Scourge, Resilience of the Scourge and Splinter of Atiesh, required to form Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian legendary weapon.

Reach at least Honored with Argent Dawn faction and speak with the Archmage Angela Dosantos in Light's Hope Chapel, Eastern Plaguelands — she will give you an attunement quest. Note that the quest requires you to bring rare resources to the Archmage and the higher your standing with Argent Dawn, the less materials you have to bring. At Exalted, you’ll get an attunement completely for free. But it’s up to you which path to take.

You have to be at minimum level 60 to enter Naxxramas in WoW Classic. Or, in other words, you need to reach the maximum level available in Classic. Naxxramas is an extremely challenging raid with a lot of dangerous encounters, so being max level is crucial for success.

Naxxramas is absolutely brimming with very different bosses, so it’s hard to name any specific gear you should bring outside of all the usual food and potions you’re expected to bring. The raid is extremely challenging, especially in Vanilla, so the better gear you’d bring, the better, obviously.

The only notable thing you should bring is Frost Resistance — you’ll need it in a fight against Sapphiron. And also, while your supports should be able to cleanse you from poison, do keep in mind that a lot of Naxx bosses can poison you.

Classic Naxxramas requires attunement before you can enter the raid. Depending on your personal progress, this can be one of the easiest or one of the most laborious attunements to complete. It depends on your reputation with Argent Dawn.

You need to be at least Honored with the organization in order to accept the attunement quest, which would require you to bring Archmage Angela Dosantos in Light's Hope Chapel several rare materials. In comparison, Revered players need to bring only half of these materials and Exalted players don’t have to do anything, getting a free attunement.

Prior to moving to the The Carrion Fields in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the original Naxxramas was located in the Plaguewood, Eastern Plaguelands. This is also the location where you can still find Naxxramas today in WoW Classic.

Naxxramas was added into the game all the way back in 2006 with the Patch 1.11.0 of classic WoW. Then, the raid was relocated and slightly redesigned in 2008 with the Patch 3.0.2 of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Finally, players got a chance to experience the original Naxxramas yet again when it was released for WoW Classic at the end of 2020.
