Classic Era Thunderfury Boost

Getting Thunderfury requires players to complete a short quest chain, which starts by getting either left or right half of the Bindings of the Windseeker from bosses Baron Geddon and Garr, Molten Core. The following quest are as follows:

1. Examine the Vessel - examine the half of the binding you got and talk to the Highlord Demitrian in Silithus.
2. Thunderaan the Windseeker - get the second half of the Binding, Essence of the Firelord (100% drop from Rangaros with the quest active) and 10 x Elementium Bars.
3. Rise, Thunderfury! - talk with Demitrian once more, defeat Prince Thunderaan and get the sword!

The players receive the starting quest for the Thunderfury as soon as they get either left or right half of the Bindings of the Windseeker, dropping from the bosses Baron Geddon and Garr in the Molten Core raid. However, both halves have only about 4% drop chance, which can make getting them extremely tedious. And while either works, meaning you have two chances per run to pick up the quest, you’d also still have to get both halves over the course of the Thunderfury questline.

Luckily, quite a large number of classes can equip this legendary sword, such as hunters, rogues, paladins and warlocks. Also, while it’s irrelevant for WoW Classic, but Death Knights and Demon Hunters are also capable of wielding this iconic sword in the retail version of WoW.
