About FFXIV Moogle Treasure Trove Boost
Moogle Treasure Trove is a limited-time event in Final Fantasy XIV with no fixed schedule — it runs for a set window and then disappears until the developers announce the next one. During the event, Irregular Tomestones are awarded for completing eligible duties and challenges. Those tomestones are then exchanged at itinerant moogles located in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, New Gridania, and Ul'dah — Steps of Nald — for exclusive cosmetics, housing items, orchestrion rolls, minions, Triple Triad cards, and other items unavailable through any other in-game source.
This edition — the First Hunt for Astronomy — runs until October 19, 2026 and introduces the Uolon Horn, a brand-new mount making its first appearance in the game. The Uolon Horn requires 100 Irregular Tomestones of Astronomy I and 10 Uolon Horn Tokens. Tokens are earned from Minimog Challenges (1 per week) and the Ultimog Challenge (5 per event). Completing all available Ultimog and Minimog Challenges across the event window yields enough tokens for the mount. Uolon Horn Tokens will also carry forward to the Second Hunt for Astronomy, scheduled for a later date.
Four objective types are available, each with a different scope and reward cadence:
- Standard Objectives — repeatable; duties with a moogle icon in the Duty Finder, plus GATEs and ocean fishing (2,000+ points required for fishing tomestones). Rewards go directly to inventory.
- Weekly Objectives — one assigned objective per week, drawn from the standard list; resets every Tuesday. Claimed from the Mogpendium.
- Minimog Challenges — one completion per week from two available options; grants extra tomestones and 1 Uolon Horn Token. Resets Tuesday. Claimed from the Mogpendium.
- Ultimog Challenges — one completion per event; grants a large tomestone bonus and 5 Uolon Horn Tokens. Claimed from the Mogpendium.
