This mount is incredibly rare. Even when both Swift Razzashi Raptor and Swift Zulian Tiger were still in the game, they had horrendously low drop chances, each having less than a 1% drop rate.Then, they were removed from the game when Zul'Gurub raid became a dungeon in Cataclysm expansion, stopping players from obtaining these mounts altogether.

With these facts combined, Swift Razzashi Raptor was truly a rare sight to behold. And even when the mount eventually appeared on Black Market, it didn’t significantly affect its rarity. As it stands today, only about 3% of all WoW have this mount in their collection, making it well worth seeking out.

Originally, you’d have to enter the Zul'Gurub raid and defeat Bloodlord Mandokir, with the mount having a rare chance to drop from the defeated boss. But ever since Zul'Gurub became a dungeon, Bloodlord Mandokir’s drop was exchanged for the Armored Razzashi Raptor. Meanwhile, Swift Razzashi Raptor was completely unavailable, until it appeared on Black Market in 2014. Ever since then, Black Market is the only place where you can legitimately get this mount in retail version of World of Warcraft.

Swift Razzashi Raptor is an extremely prestigious and revered mount, being one of the truly classic ones, being in the game before any of the major expansions. And the fact that it was completely removed from the game in 2010 has only raised its reputation among WoW players and especially the collectors. While the mount has the standard opening bid of 20,000 gold, it usually sells for up to 10 million gold!
