WoT Personal Missions 2.0 Boost

Personal missions are the unique challenges the player can complete for valuable rewards. In 2015, the first set of personal missions came out in the form of “The Long-Awaited Backup” campaign, and in 2018, the second Campaign was introduced, called “The Second Front”. Each Campaign consists of separate operations, each rewarding the player with a unique tank by the end of it. 

“The Second Front” consists of three Operations, 60 Personal Missions within each. The missions are separated into four branches, with 15 missions per branch. In the previous Campaign, these branches were separated by the tank class. But this time, they are separated by the nations. By the end of each Operation, you’ll receive a tank said Operation is titled after. 

In “The Second Front,” all three operations offer different kinds of challenges. The first operation tests the player’s persistence, with missions focused on completing a large goal over a series of matches. The second Operation is all about skill, forcing you to achieve specific objectives over a single match. And the last one checks how consistent you are, requiring a certain level of results over a set number of games. 

Keep in mind that there are also Tier requirements for each Operation. Tiers VI-X for Excalibur, Tiers VII-X for Chimera and Tiers VIII-X for Object 279 Early.

No. You can do the operations in any order you want. So if you want to skip the first Campaign and head straight for the second one, you’re free to do that! Even more, you can progress through both campaigns at the same time. For example, you can choose similar missions from both campaigns, killing two birds with one stone.

You can, but there are some limitations. First, each branch’s 15th and final mission can be unlocked only once you complete the main objectives of all the relevant branch’s previous missions.

Secondly, while both campaigns can be progressed simultaneously, each Campaign’s operations must be completed in order. For example, you can simultaneously work on the third Operation of the first Campaign and the second Operation of the second Campaign. But you can’t jump into them before finishing all the previous Operations of the corresponding Campaign. 

Also, keep in mind that switching the mission before the completion of its primary objective will result in losing any progress you had in it up until now. 

Overall, the second Campaign follows the same reward structure as the first one. Completing individual personal missions may reward you with “unique medals, badges and emblems, credits, bonds, Free XP, consumables, equipment, Directives, Garage slots, and WoT Premium Account”. 

Completion of the branch rewards you with a blueprint (functions in the same way as the vehicle components from the first Campaign) and a female crew member. And for the completion of the entire Operation, you receive a tank and a camouflage set. 

You can choose the nation, vehicle type, and major qualification of the female crew members. They also come with 100% qualification, 100% “zero” Brothers in arms perk, XP to 100% a second skill/perk, and a slot in the Barracks. You can get up to 12 female crew members by the second Campaign’s end.

Compared to the first Campaign, there are only three Operations and only three tanks to get. These tanks are Excalibur, Chimera, and Object 279 early. The camo you can get by the end of each Operation is tied to each tank you receive. However, if you manage to complete all missions with honors — the secondary objectives — you can purchase this camo for any tank of the respective nation. 

For the most part, secondary objectives are relatively insignificant. They help you to progress through the Operation quicker should you manage to complete them, and if you manage to achieve the 15th mission with honors, you’ll receive “Orders,” which allow you to skip missions, should they prove to be too challenging for you. But you can easily finish all the missions without bonuses or Orders. And you’ll still receive most of your rewards whether you complete the secondary objectives or not.

That said, there is one tangible reward for doing the secondary objectives. Manage to complete all the Operation missions with honors and you’ll be able to purchase the unique camouflage offered at the end of the Operation for any tank of the suitable nation (the nation of the prize tank).

The second Campaign’s structure isn’t that much different from the first. You go to the currently available Operation (or Operations) and choose two missions you will work on — three if you have a Premium Account. You don’t have to activate several missions simultaneously, but it can save you time if their objectives overlap. 

Despite their name, “personal missions” don’t function as separate gameplay instances; instead, they work like special challenges, which you must complete while doing Random Battles. Only Random Battles (including Grand Battles) are suitable for completing personal missions. Make sure you activate the mission before going into battle to ensure your progress will count towards completion.

One notable difference between the first and second Campaign is that the mission branches in “The Second Front” are separated by nations rather than tank classes. As a result, you have more flexibility in what type of tank to use for the given mission, but you’re also limited to using only the featured nation’s tanks. 

The rest is the same. You have to complete all 14 missions in the branch before you can play the final mission of said branch. Completing a single branch of missions rewards you with a female crew member and a blueprint. And fully completing the Operation rewards you with a tank, a camo, and opens the next Operation in the line.
