Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 Release Date

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

Patch 7.3, or The Promise of Tomorrow, is headed to Final Fantasy XIV and will drop on August 5, 2025. Presented during the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE, the update concludes the story for the Dawntrail expansion and contains plenty of new content for all playstyles.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 Updates

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3, also known as The Promise of Tomorrow, is rich in updates. The patch will bring many new things, e.g., new raids, dungeons, trials, and even more. Below, you can find a full list of the upcoming FF14 Patch 7.3 Updates:

  • New Quests (Main Scenario Quests, Weapon Enhancements Quests, Allied Society Quests)
  • New Alliance Raid
  • New Dungeons (four-player dungeon The Meso Terminal, deep dungeon Piligrim’s Traverse, treasure dungeon Vault Oneiron)
  • New Trials (new Normal & Extreme trials, Unreal trial)
  • Cosmic Exploration: New Planet
  • Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures
  • Duty Support Additions
  • PvP Updates (new Series 9 rewards, new map, new ranked tiers)

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 New Quests

With Patch 7.3, lots of new quests will be added to Final Fantasy XIV, including the following:

  • New Main Scenario Quests;
  • Weapon Enhancements Quests;
  • Allied Society Quests.

Final Fantasy 14 New Main Scenario Quests

Following the Patch 7.1 and 7.2 events, the FFXIV Dawntrail storyline continues in Patch 7.3 with a new chapter in the main scenario quest. Previously, we visited Wuk Lamat crossroads and experienced the spooky return of the Endless in the Seekers of Eternity saga. A new story is now on the way, further widening the post-Dawntrail narrative.

Though news is not yet out, expect new quests, more Tural lore, and continuation of ideas that have been raised in earlier patches. No matter whether you adhered to reason or defiance, more surprises await you in the future.

And now is the high time to prepare yourself for adventures. Our Dawntrail Starter Bundle will provide you with 3 upgraded, fully equipped classes, so you will be able to participate in the most interesting quests straightaway.

Final Fantasy 14 New Weapon Enhancements Quests

The Phantom Weapon narrative continues with further steps to upgrade your PvP-related equipment. Such quests become accessible after you’ve made certain advances in the main upgrade line. This narrative will most likely be linked to PvE and PvP goals and reward you for frequent play.

Improving your Phantom Weapons is not just a good opportunity; it is a must for enjoyable gameplay and easy takedowns. Our team knows the struggle, so we can help you upgrade your Phantom Weapons in the blink of an eye.

Final Fantasy 14 New Allied Society Quests

To access new Final Fantasy XIV Allied Society Quests in A Realm Reborn, players need to complete the level 41 Main Scenario Quest “In Pursuit of the Past”. Simply being level 41+ will not be enough. Once unlocked through the MSQ, progress in these quests is tied to your character’s current level.

With Patch 7.3, Final Fantasy XIV is expanding on this system with yet another series of Allied Society quests involving the Yok Huy tribe in Tural. The additional quests are crafting-focused and will bring new progression for crafters and gatherers in the latest update.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 New Alliance Raid

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

The second part of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid will be an essential part of Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3. This raid takes place in the large land of San d’Oria with the installation titled “The Second Walk.” In San d’Oria: The Second Walk, you will be able to encounter legendary characters and villains that FFXI fans should remember. Actually, teaser shots of the Live Letter stream even included Prishe appearing as a hint that the story-driven raid battle is coming.

The alliance raid will have the usual trio of challenging bosses with complex mechanics, so synergy is a must. Gear rewards and unique glams based on the appearance of Vana’diel can also be found, so this raid is a must for raiders and lore fans. How about a quick raid clear, then? Our team is fully prepared to complete the San d’Oria: The Second Walk for you and save your time!

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 New Dungeons

Patch 7.3 of Final Fantasy XIV will not leave us empty-handed, as new dungeons are on their way. First of all, it’s The Meso Terminal — a new dungeon for four players. Next, we await Pilgrim’s Traverse — a new deep dungeon. Finally, Vault Oneiron is another dungeon, and this one is a treasure dungeon.

Final Fantasy 14 The Meso Terminal

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

A new four-player dungeon, The Meso Terminal, will be added in patch 7.3 Final Fantasy 14 as part of the main scenario questline. This instanced dungeon is an integral part of the Dawntrail finale, throwing players through a new area as the story moves towards its climax. FF14 Meso Terminal Dungeon details:

DetailsDescription
Level100
Item Level720
DifficultyNormal
Party sizeLight Party (4 man, 1 Tank, 1 Healer, 2 DPS)
UnsyncingNot Allowed
Time Limit90 minutes
Duty FinderDungeons (Dawntrail)
Duty RouletteExpert

The Meso Terminal will be accessible via the Duty Finder. We also expect the Trust/Duty Support system, so you might be able to bring NPC companions along. Appearance-wise, the dungeon will be in bright neon yellow and purple colors. It will also be full of rewards, so ensure that The Meso Terminal Set will be yours — ask our team for fast completion.

Completing the Meso Terminal dungeon should reward level-capped gear to prepare players for other endgame activities of the patch. Don’t forget to look around and appreciate the scenery and lore as well — story dungeons like this are likely to have some cool details and nods for players who spend the time exploring.

Final Fantasy 14 New Deep Dungeon

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

A brand new FF14 deep dungeon, coming with Dawntrail, Piligrim’s Traverse, can be found in Il Mheg in Shadowbringers. Instead of falling or climbing a tower, Pilgrim’s Traverse will have you sliding and moving sideways through its mysterious worlds. FF14 Pilgrim’s Traverse Dungeon details:

DetailsDescription
Level91 (Sync. 100)
DifficultyNormal
Party sizeFlexible (1-4 man)
UnsyncingNot Allowed
Time Limit60 minutes

✏️ Tip: If you choose to leave and return later, you can continue playing from where you last saved.

Pilgrim’s Traverse comes in Final Fantasy XIV with some entry requirements to ensure you’re prepared. You will need to have finished the Endwalker MSQ and have one combat job at level 91 or higher. Additionally, you’ll need to reach Floor 50 in the Palace of the Dead to enter the Pilgrim’s Traverse. But don’t worry, you don’t have to do it all on your own, as our team can complete the Palace for you in no time.

Final Fantasy 14 New Treasure Dungeon

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

Treasure seekers, draw swords and sharpen wits — Vault Oneiron is the new instanced treasure dungeon coming in Patch 7.3.

Vault Oneiron maintains FFXIV’s legacy of bonus “map dungeons”, like previously with Aquapolis, Lyhe Ghiah, etc. There are no level or item level requirements for the treasure dungeon, but you will need to have a full 100-level party. Here are all the details about Final Fantasy 14 Vault Oneiron:

DetailsDescription
Level100 (Sync: 100)
Item Level
DifficultyNormal
Party sizeFlexible (1-8 man)
UnsyncingNot Allowed
Time Limit60 minutes

Naturally, clearing Vault Oneiron can reward rare materials, piles of gil, and unique treasure-themed glamour pieces. Even if luck isn’t always on your side with those random portals, the journey is sure to be a blast.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 New Trials

A new trial comes in Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3, bringing an epic boss battle on both Normal and Extreme. The name and boss of the trial are kept in secret for now to avoid story spoilers.

All in all, ensure that you’ll have to bring good coordination, knowledge of the fight patterns, and quick reflexes to excel at the trials. It’ll be well worth it — these Trials, especially extreme trials, typically drop nice loot such as a special mount or weapon adjustments exclusive to the boss.

Final Fantasy 14 New Unreal Trial

The Wreath of Snakes is a new addition to Unreal trials coming in Patch 7.3. This trial reintroduces the Seiryu fight from Stormblood story, now leveled up for level 100 players. Here’s a description of The Wreath of Snakes (Unreal) in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.3:

DetailsDescription
Level100 (Sync. 100)
Item Level690 (Sync: 695)
DifficultyUnreal
Party sizeFull Party (8 man, 2 Tanks, 2 Healers, 4 DPS)
UnsyncingNot Allowed

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 Cosmic Exploration New Planet

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

Cosmic Exploration will get a new zone — planet Phaenna in The Sea of Stars. There’s not much information about this zone available yet. However, we expect it to be a truly fascinating piece of content in Patch 7.3.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures

Final Fantasy 14 The Promise of Tomorrow Overview

Everyone’s favorite gentleman detective is back (yet again) in Patch 7.3 with Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures. More laugh-out-loud cutscenes and absurd situations as Hildibrand, Nashu, and the rest bumble their way through the New World.

If you’ve completed earlier Hildibrand Adventures, you’re well aware of the drill: these are lighthearted, story-driven quests that serve as a palate cleanser from the thick main story. But we can also provide our helping hand and complete these quests for you to get the best rewards!

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 Duty Support Additions

Continuing the direction towards making all content accessible to solo players, Patch 7.3 introduces Duty Support to the classic dungeon, Cutter’s Cry. This enables you to now clean level 38 Cutter’s Cry (in the Arrzaneth Ossuary desert) with a party of NPC party members if you prefer not to queue with others.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 PvP Updates

Patch 7.3, The Promise of Tomorrow, shakes up the PvP scene in FFXIV with fresh content, a new series of rewards, and arena updates. If you’re into Crystalline Conflict or just farming some stylish rewards, this patch has something for you.

Final Fantasy 14 PvP Series 9 Rewards and Changes

PvP Series 9 is live with a brand-new reward track. As always, you’ll earn Series EXP by participating in any PvP mode — from Frontline to Crystalline Conflict. New rewards include:

  • Exclusive mounts;
  • Unique glam items;
  • Titles and trophy crystals.

This patch also introduces action tweaks for better class balance, so expect some meta shifts as the season progresses.

Final Fantasy 14 New Crystalline Conflict Map

The Crystalline Conflict maps now include a sunny addition — the Bayside Battleground, which is a tropical-themed area. There will be new map hazards and configurations. By the way, casual Crystalline Conflict now also includes duo queue, so you and your friends can play together without entering the ranked pool and enjoy this new map together.

Whoever is grinding dailies or pushing for high ranks, getting this map down will be essential. Don’t waste your time, ask our team to get the best rewards from Crystalline Conflict for you!

Final Fantasy 14 New Ranked Tiers

For competitive players, FF14 ranked PvP now includes more tier divisions, like the Omega and Ultimate ranks. These new thresholds give prestige to top Final Fantasy 14 PvP players and improve matchmaking.
