WotLK Classic The Oculus Boosting takes on the dungeon most groups quietly hope they do not get. The Oculus sits in the same Coldarra spire as the Nexus, just up the ramp instead of straight ahead, and it plays nothing like a normal instance. Half of it is fought from the back of a drake, and the last boss can only be fought that way. Ruby, Emerald and Amber drakes fill the tank, healer and damage roles, and a group that picks wrong or misses a Stop Time on Enraged Assault falls apart on Eregos no matter how good their gear is. WoW WotLK Classic The Oculus Carry Rewards
WoW WotLK The Oculus Carry puts most of its value on the last boss. Eregos alone drops nine items on Normal and eight on Heroic, covering weapons, a trinket and head or chest pieces for every armor type. Heroic adds an Emblem of Heroism per boss and the Frozen Orb. Note that Eregos can also drop Design: Bracing Earthsiege Diamond, but recipes sit outside the loot priority.
