Sunwell Plateau

$899.00Answering this question can be quite challenging since the duration of a raid largely depends on the experience level of the team and the specific raid type. However, if we consider a situation where the group successfully navigates the raid without any wipes, it can still take several hours to finish. Even a skilled team typically requires at least an hour for a solid raid. For more casual players, the time can stretch to 2-4 hours or even longer if they encounter significant errors.
When Burning Crusade first launched, The Black Temple was undoubtedly the toughest challenge, taking players several months to finally defeat it. However, among all the raids introduced in TBC Classic, Sunwell Plateau stands out as the most challenging. This is largely due to the numerous formidable bosses you encountered in this raid. Its status as the hardest raid is well-deserved, as it was the final raid released in WoW TBC Classic before the expansions began.
In the retail version of WoW, the increased level cap and power creep allow players to solo Vanilla raids, but this isn't true for TBC Classic. Even Onyxia’s Lair, which many consider one of the easier raids from the Classic Vanilla, still needs a robust team of high-level players to clear it. So, don’t let the fact that these were some of the original raids mislead you into thinking they’re simple. They only became easier as players became much stronger over time.
