How does ELO system work?

Players gain or lose ELO points after each match depending on the outcome and the relative strength of the opponents. As ELO increases, the player progresses through FACEIT Levels – from Level 1 to Level 10.

How does LVL system work?

Basically, your ELO and LVL are linked between each other. With more ELO, you get higher LVL. But at one stage, when you hit LVL 10, there are no more levels to increase, only ELO. You can compare it to other games like chess or R6 Siege, where you hit max rank and then just increasing your ELO/Top ladder.
