Exotics is a special weapons or pieces of equipment which drops with special mods or unique perks. It is very powerful items that used in many builds. In addition, it has unique appearance, name, locked attributes. You cannot recalibrate exotic items except one attribute. Some exotics is build defined and these particular builds cannot exist without this items.

You can get exotics from many sources, like missions, strongholds, named bosses. The higher is the difficulty, the higher is the drop chance! Some exotics, like Regulus can be obtained via special quest chain and can be recalibrated with a blueprint. Some others can be farmed from the Raids, like Eagle Bearer or Ravenous. Also, there are specific exotics which can be obtain from the activities. Some exotics like Memento can be obtained through the world drops.

You can find 51 exotic item in the game — 20 armor pieces and 31 weapons. As mentioned before, you can get them from various pull of activities, that can be constantly farmed. But raid or quest exotic cannot be farmed that often and can be recalibrated via blueprints.

It depends on exotic-related activity. Raid or quest exotics can be delivered in two or three days, activity exotics can be delivered in shorter times. We take into account drop chances, which make delivery time longer or shorter.

There are several popular exotics that defines the builds and the most commonly used:

Most of them are raid specific, others can be farmed from activities or world drops.
