About Deadlock Ranked Unlock Boost
The Deadlock Ranked Unlock Boost helps players complete the new entry requirements for Ranked Mode introduced with the major Matchmaking Update. Instead of entering Ranked immediately, every account must now earn a significant amount of progression in the separate Standard Mode queue.
To unlock Ranked Mode, an account needs at least 60 victories in Standard Mode. Losses do not advance this requirement, making the process considerably longer than simply completing 60 matches.
There is also a separate hero-specific requirement. Ranked Mode only allows players to select heroes with at least 15 Standard Mode victories. Before an account can join the Ranked queue, it must have at least three heroes that meet this requirement.
