About Deadlock Access Boost
The Deadlock Access Boost helps players enter the currently limited Deadlock playtest without searching for an existing player willing to send an invitation.
Deadlock remains in early development and is not yet available as a normal public Steam release. The official store page currently states that access is limited to friend invitations sent by existing playtesters.
Unlike a game key or account purchase, Deadlock access works through Steam's own playtest invitation system. An existing player with access first adds you as a Steam friend and then sends the Deadlock playtest invitation to your account.

Once the invitation has been sent, Steam processes the request and delivers the playtest access to your account. The invite may appear through your Steam notifications, email, or Playtest Invites section.
Because this final delivery is handled by Steam rather than the sender, the exact activation time can vary. Current players continue to report invitations arriving anywhere from quickly after submission to several hours later, with occasional longer processing periods.
