The Knights of the Ebon Blade is an alliance of freed Death Knights. It was formed right after the Battle for Light’s Hope Chapel and now they are led by Highlord Darion Mograine. Their main base is located at Eastern Plaguelands and is called The Scarlet Enclave. They also have enclaves In Northrend in Icecrown and Zul’drak. The Knights of the Ebon Blade cooperate closely with the Argent Dawn faction to stop Arthas Menethil, also known as The Lich King.
Knights of the Ebon Blade Reputation Rewards

Knights of the Ebon Blade Reputation Farming
There are different ways to farm reputation with The Knights of Ebon Blade faction in Wrath of the Lich King classic. For example, you can run dungeons wearing Tabard of the Ebon Blade. Nevertheless, quests are an important part of getting to the Exalted level.
Zul’drak Quests Reputation
There are 9 quests that give reputation. You can find them all at Ebon Watch in the western part of Zul’drak. They become available as you hit the level requirement of 74. The quest chain starts with Writhing Choker or Unliving Choker. No matter which one you get first as they lead you to the same quest line.
Both items drop from Withered Troll.

Icecrown Quests Reputation
It is highly recommended to have Cold Weather Flying unlocked to complete quests there. If you have it yet, you can talk to “Honest” Max at K3 in Storm Peaks. He will give you a free flying mount that will only work in Sholazar Basin, Storm Peaks, and Icecrown. It’s very slow, but it’s better than nothing.
Alliance players can start with It’s All Fun and Games from Thassarian and Horde players should look for It’s All Fun and Games from Koltira Deathweaver. From there, complete the next set of quests out of The Shadow Vault:
- I Have an Idea, But First…
- Free Your Mind
- If He Cannot Be Turned / If He Cannot Be Turned
- The Shadow Vault / The Shadow Vault
That will open The Shadow Vault hub, with a flight path, even more quests, innkeepers, vendors, and the Knights of the Ebon Blade Quartermaster, Duchess Mynx. Then, these quests lead players to Battle at Valhalas, which after the turn-in leads through several fights to Battle at Valhalas: Final Challenge. Note that battle quests give no reputation, we need them for future chains to be unlocked.
The following quest lines are those that we need – these start with Eliminate the Competition, Honor Challenge, and Blackwatch. You will get access to daily quests upon their completion.
Commendation Badges Reputation
Ebon Blade Commendation Badge is an item that increases your reputation on use. Note that you cannot trade it. Archmage Timear in Dalaran starts one of four daily dungeon quests, and badges are just one of the options you can choose as a reward. There is a level 78 requirement for these quests.
Tabards and Dungeons Reputation
Once you hit Friendly with Knights of the Ebon Blade, you can put on Tabard of the Ebon Blade and start running Heroic WoTLK dungeons.
