Greetings to all event lovers! In this guide, you will learn about the Brewfest, its features, how to earn tokens for special clothes, toys, the Brew of the Month club, get achievements, and the Brewmaster title. During the event, you’ll have to fight the event boss Coren Direbrew in the Grim Guzzler Inn for a chance to get useful trinkets and a dagger, as well as two epic mounts, the Swift Brewfest Ram and the Great Brewfest Kodo!
WotLK Classic Brewfest Overview
In WotLK Brewfest is one of the most famous events, which obviously refers to the well-known Bavarian Oktoberfest. It is an autumn holiday in which Thunderbrew, Barleybrew, and the Ogres breweries compete with each other, and all others enjoy gallons of beer and tables full of beer snacks. Also, players like Brewfest because of various activities and great rewards including two unique mounts.
Brewfest Camp Locations
There are only two main Brewfest Camps.
The Alliance Brewfest Wrath Classic Camp is located outside of Ironforge city, at the bottom of the hill. The main brawler Ipfelkofer Ironkeg.

The Horde Brewfest WotLK Camp is located outside of Orgrimmar city opposite Orgrimmar Gates. The main brawler is Tapper Swindlekeg.

WotLK Classic Brewfest Exp Buffs
You can get Brewfest Enthusiast buff by going to the Brewfest camps. Vol’jin or High Tinker Mekkatorque will give out a speech only two times per day. The speech starts a few minutes before 6 AM or 6 PM your server time. After the speech is over you will automatically get this buff.
Note: this effect doesn’t persist through death, just be careful.
WotLK Classic Brewfest Achievements & Title

Below you can find all repeatable and non-repeatable event quests depending on your faction in WoW Classic.
Horde non-repeatable quests
| Brewfest! | Just pick it from any Goblin/Orc Commoner in any Horde city and speak with Tapper swindlekeg. |
| Welcome to Brewfest! | Same as an upper quest. |
| Chug and Chuck | Just pick up and throw 5 mugs at Utility Target in front of you. |
| Now This is Ram Racing… Almost | After accepting the quest you will be put on Ram, you should maintain 3 buff stages for 8 seconds for each by using Ram Racing Reins in inventory. |
| Say, There Wouldn’t Happen to be a Souvenir This Year, Would There? | Just redeem the voucher and get your Blue Brewfest Stein. |
| Catch The Wild Woplertinger | You should be “completely smashed” to see these bunny beasts, which means drink 5 more mugs of beer or something alco… |
| Pink Elekks On Parade | Wear Synthebrew Goggles (obtained from Goldark Huntsniper by clicking on “What if I don’t like drinking?” option). |
Horde repeatable quests
| There and Back Again | Get a keg from the goblin stranded on the road to Razor Hill and return it to Ram Master Ray’s assistant. Tip: when you running near barrels with apples your Fatigue meter resets to 0. |
| This One Time, When I Was Drunk… | You can accept this quest after Dark Iron Invade event ends. It happens every 30 minutes in Brewfest camp. |
| Bark for T’chali’s Voodoo Brewery! | You will be put on ram like in the previous quests and your goal will be to simply run next to the three checkpoints in Orgrimmar. |
Alliance non-repeatable quests

WotLK Classic Brewfest Rewards
Brewfest’s main currency is Brewfest Prize Token which you get for event quests, you can exchange them for rewards by Blix Fixwidget <Token Redeemer> for the Horde and Belbi Quikswitch for the Alliance.

Sadly but at this event, you can’t get the old version of the 60% speed Brewfest Ram like it was in 2007.
WoW WotLK Brewfest Event Boss Rewards
Coren Direbrew, a level 73 Elite boss at the Grim Guzzler tavern in Blackrock Depths instance. This event boss can be summoned by completing the daily quest Insult Coren Direbrew and is available at the Grim Guzzler tavern from NPC Brewfest Spy . This quest required a minimum lvl 65+ character.
Let’s see the boss drop:
- Direbrew’s Dire Brew – quest item for the Alliance;
- Direbrew’s Dire Brew – quest item for the Horde;
- Dark Iron Smoking Pipe/ Empty Mug of Direbrew/ Coren’s Lucky Coin/ Direbrew Hops trinkets (all the trinkets are for lvl 70 characters and have 100 ilvl. They are similar to trinkets which you can buy for 41 badges);
- Brightbrew Charm – summons The Brewmaiden, which heals your party every 2 seconds (also, target them and use /wave at summoned brewmaidens to get free Brewfest Brew);
- Balebrew Charm – summons The Black Brewmaiden, which helps you by attacking your enemies (also, target them and use /wave at summoned brewmaidens to get free Brewfest Brew);
- Direbrew’s Shanker 115 ilvl dagger that looks like a broken bottle (you can use it for transmog it in future addons);
- The rarest items which he also drops are Great Brewfest Kodo, Swift Brewfest Ram, and Direbrew’s Remote which summons a Machine to take your party members straight to the Grim Guzzler tavern.
