FFXIV Patch 7.56 will be available on September 8, 2026. This patch will be out for all platforms as well as through the regular patch maintenance. FF14 Patch 7.56 is the last story patch in the Dawntrail Patch 7.5.

Final Fantasy 14 7.56 New Content

Final Fantasy 14 7.56 Overview

FFXIV Patch 7.56 is shorter in content than other Dawntrail updates. However, the two major features it includes bring important updates to the game. The first one includes an additional MSQ, while the second involves the progression path for Beastmaster. The main Final Fantasy Patch 7.56 content includes:

  • Trail to the Heavens Part 2 — the next Main Scenario chapter and Dawntrail’s final story update.
  • Beastmaster Limited Job — a melee DPS limited job focused on capturing and commanding beasts.
  • The Crucible of the Unbroken — a solo Beastmaster duty with progression, different routes, and difficulty levels.
  • PvP Series 12 — the next PvP Series begins as Series 11 closes.

Square Enix has not announced another dungeon, raid, or trial specifically for Patch 7.56. The complete patch notes may still include balance changes, new items, bug fixes, and smaller adjustments. There’s still a lot of content to do in FFXIV, say, Dancing Mad Raid, which you can complete fast and easily with our pro players.

Final Fantasy 14 7.56 Main Scenario Quests

Patch 7.56 of FF14 Main Scenario Quests is part two of the Trail to the Heavens storyline. There haven’t been many details about the new quests, but these new MSQ quests will lead us toward the next FFXIV expansion called Evercold.

It would be better to clear up the previous scenario of Trail to the Heavens before the release of the new patch so you won’t have to catch up when the new content arrives. If you are looking for an easier Full MSQ Completion, our team is ready to assist you.

Final Fantasy XIV 7.56 Beastmaster

Final Fantasy 14 7.56 Overview

The addition of the FF14 Beastmaster job is the largest gameplay addition in Patch 7.56. It becomes the game’s second limited job after Blue Mage. Instead of learning enemy spells, Beastmaster captures creatures and summons them as familiars. Here are the main Final Fantasy 14 7.56 Beastmaster details:

Final Fantasy 14 The Crucible of the Unbroken

Final Fantasy 14 7.56 Overview

Crucible of the Unbroken in Final Fantasy 14 is a duty that was added as part of patch 7.56 and is unique to the Beastmaster. When you reach level 30 for the Beastmaster job, you will naturally get access to this duty. The Crucible differs from the usual dungeon by its board-like structure and branching routes. FF14 The Crucible of the Unbroken map includes the following kinds of spaces:

  • Enemy Spaces — battles where you select three beasts from your current team.
  • Campsite Spaces — recovery points for Beastmaster and selected beasts.
  • Treasure Spaces — offer one reward from several randomly selected items.
  • Shop Spaces — sell items, beast gear, and feed using Territory Tokens.

Before you enter The Crucible of the Unbroken in Final Fantasy XIV, you choose a larger roster of around 10 to 15 beasts. The duty then asks you to pick suitable familiars for each encounter. You can play smart and check the enemy weaknesses and other details beforehand, so team selection becomes part of the challenge.

📌 The chosen beasts have their own HP inside the Crucible and cannot fight after reaching zero. Their health also does not automatically recover between encounters.

The mode also includes Crucible items, which work somewhat like Pomanders from Deep Dungeons:

  • Beast Potions restore beast HP;
  • Temporal Sand allows another attempt after losing a battle;
  • Beast Gear provides passive bonuses that can change how a run plays.

Final Fantasy 14 PvP Series 11

FF14 Patch 7.56 marks the end of PvP Series 11. The current Series closes when Patch 7.56 maintenance begins on September 8, and you will have your Series EXP and your Series Level reset for Series 12.

Keep in mind that Trophy Crystals carry over, so there is no need to spend them before maintenance. Available Series rewards will change once the new Series begins. Series 11 rewards can still be claimed until the end of Series 12.

If you still want a Series Malmstone reward, finish the required PvP grind before September 8. Our team can lend you a helping hand to secure the rewards. Your current progress will not transfer into the new Series.
