You can visit Xur once a week to get an Exotic Cipher quest or buy random Exotic items again. Dead Man’s Tale used to be available from Xur, but now you can only get it in a special mission. You can complete one Xenology Quest for one Exotic Cipher from Xur every week for free. To achieve this, finish ritual activities such as Vanguard missions or win Crucible and Gambit matches. After completing the quest, return to Xur for your reward and check out what he is selling. Just a reminder, Xur will not give you the Cipher quest if you have already completed it this week in Destiny 2.
