About WoW Forever Blackrock Spire Boosting
Blackrock Spire takes up the upper half of Blackrock Mountain, on the border of Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes. One entrance leads into two wings. Lower Blackrock Spire (LBRS) is the larger one, held by orcs, ogres and trolls. Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS) is shorter and harder, with General Drakkisath at the top.
In WoW Forever, both wings are built for 10 players. The Spire opens from level 48, and the Group Finder lists it from level 53, split into its Lower and Upper halves.
The Upper Spire door is where most groups get stuck. It opens with a key earned through a long quest chain. The chain starts inside LBRS and asks for three gems from Lower Spire bosses. Then it sends you to Dustwallow Marsh to defeat the dragon Emberstrife and make him forge the key. Only one player in the group needs it: once the door opens, everyone walks in.
