TFD External Components Carry
External Components in the First Descendant are rare and important parts of your build. The only way to get external components is by completing the requirements that are found in the component's Acquisition Info. Equipping the right external components can boost your character significantly, so choose wisely. Yet there are more than 500 items, and their stat system is pretty complicated, so here is a small guide to help you navigate through the available options.
First of all, there are 4 main slots:
- Auxiliary Power
- Memory
- Processor
- Sensor
You can only equip one component per slot, so it's best to equip the one that best suits your build.
Second, there are various rarity tiers, but we offer the best four:
- Rare (Purple)
- Set Rare (Purple)
- Ultimate (Yellow)
- Set Ultimate (Yellow)
As you can see, some Ultimate and Rare external components belong to a set. When 2 or 4 components of a set are equipped, additional bonuses are given. There are a lot of sets in TFD. Some of the Sets are listed here:
