The top rank Eternity has no tiers and is based on points. As you win games, you will earn points. Yet, if you don’t play Marvel Rivals for long, you will lose points and your position may drop. You must rack up as many points as possible when you get promoted to Eternity. At the end of a season, the top 500 players with the highest rank points will ascend to One Above All. But being among the top 500 comes with the additional responsibility of regularly staying active in the game.

How does the Hold My Rank option work?

The Hold My Rank option has the following function ranges, depending on the rank you are getting:

When purchasing ranks up to Grandmaster, the frame within which the Hold my Rank option works is 2 ranks from the boost result (e.g., Grandmaster 1 → Grandmaster 3, Diamond 2 → Platinum 1), if the drop is more than 2 ranks, the option does not work;
From Grandmaster rank and above, the feature availability limit is 1000 SR (e.g., if your rank dropped less than 1000 SR since the boost, with this option, we'll grind it back).

The function is active for one season/split and can be implemented only in the same season as the boost.

The Hold My Rank service has time limitations depending on the ETA of the boost. Therefore, it's essential to consider the ETA required to fix the rank (e.g., if the ETA is 1 day, and there are only 2 hours before the end of the season, the option is not applicable).
