4.9WoW Forever Healer Tier List
The best WoW Forever healers are those specs that can sustain a party during prolonged periods of damage, recover quickly after a big spike of damage, and manage their Mana throughout long encounters. Restoration Druid currently leads our WoW Forever healer ranking, followed by Discipline Priest, Holy Priest, and Holy Paladin in A Tier. Here’s our Healer Tier List in WoW Forever:
| Tier | WoW Forever Healer Specs |
|---|---|
| S | Restoration Druid |
| A | Discipline Priest, Holy Priest, Holy Paladin |
| B | Restoration Shaman |
In addition to the mentioned qualities, effective healers usually have some other abilities like dispelling, defensive buffs, movement, or other party utilities. Restoration Druid currently stands at the top of the overall WoW Forever healer tier list, while the lower-ranked specs can still perform strongly in situations that suit their toolkits. But even with all these qualities, you still need to be well-prepared for the content you plan to do. Good Pre-raid Gear can help you out and make your gameplay way easier and more enjoyable.
S Tier
S Tier features the best healer spec in WoW Forever according to its current overall PvE toolkit. Restoration Druid combines reliable healing over time, mobility, emergency recovery, and useful Druid support.
Restoration Druid
Restoration Druid is a spec that excels in healing over time, while remaining highly mobile and providing effective Druid support. Wild Growth now provides Restoration with an excellent tool to heal multiple group members at once. Swiftmend can be used without consuming an active HoT effect, meaning that spot healing in emergencies is easier on the healer. Its combination of mobile HoTs and improved emergency healing currently puts Restoration Druid at the top of our WoW Forever healer ranking.
A Tier
A Tier WoW Forever healers remain strong choices for PvE and can perform close to the top-ranked option in favorable situations. Their toolkits focus on different strengths, including damage prevention, reactive healing, or focused single-target recovery.
Discipline Priest
The Discipline Priest specialization is based on defending against any incoming damage via shields and absorbs. Penance is a spell that adds flexibility by allowing both healing and dealing damage with the same ability. The specialization benefits from Power Word: Shield, along with new Discipline talents that enhance its role as the defensive Priest healer. The important thing to keep in mind is that Discipline depends more on encounter preparation than Holy.
Holy Priest
Holy Priest continues to be a basic healer to play in both single-target and AoE healing. Prayer of Mending and Binding Heal provide more options when more than one player needs to be healed at the same time. This versatility of the healing spells makes Holy very adaptable to different situations without requiring as much encounter preparation.
If you want to try this spec out but your character is not yet ready, ask our team for Power Leveling in WoW Forever. This way, your healer will be ready to jump into the endgame content straightaway.
Holy Paladin
The Holy Paladin remains a powerful class for single-target healing with armor, blessings, and helpful defense support. Holy Shock gives the spec a quick reaction spell, while Light’s Vigil helps with group healing, which this class traditionally lacks. Its focused healing and defensive support now place Holy Paladin in A Tier of our overall healer ranking.
B Tier
B Tier WoW Forever healing specs remain fully capable of handling PvE content but have clearer limitations in their overall toolkit. Their strengths can still make them valuable additions to a raid or dungeon group.
Restoration Shaman
The main things that set Restoration Shaman apart are good group healing, useful Totems, and a balanced healing rotation. Riptide provides a powerful instant HoT, which opens up various new possibilities in combination with the other abilities Restoration Shaman possesses. Chain Heal remains useful when multiple players take damage, while enhanced Mana tools support longer fights. These strengths still make Restoration Shaman valuable in group content despite its B-Tier overall position.
WoW Forever Best Healer for Beginners
The Holy Priest is one of the best WoW Forever healers for newcomers because its spells are easy to understand and react directly to incoming damage. Its toolkit provides clear options for single-target healing, group recovery, and emergencies without requiring players to prepare every damage window in advance. Prayer of Mending and Binding Heal also give new players flexible ways to recover group health.
Best WoW Forever Healer for Raids
The best WoW Forever raid healers need reliable group healing, sustainable Mana usage, and tools for sudden raid-wide damage. Restoration Shaman and Holy Priest currently have strong packages for those situations.
- Restoration Shaman — combines Chain Heal, Riptide, Mana tools, and Totems for strong sustained group healing.
- Holy Priest — brings flexible reactive healing through direct spells, Prayer of Mending, and Binding Heal.
- Discipline Priest — prevents dangerous damage through shields and absorbs when encounter timings are known in advance.
Restoration Shaman is our current pick for the best raid healer in WoW Forever. Its group healing and Totem support fit naturally into larger PvE encounters. Holy Priest remains a strong alternative when a raid needs more direct and reactive healing. You can even complete the Hyjal Summit — a famous challenging raid, and our team can be by your side to make it easier.
Best WoW Forever Healer for Dungeons
The best WoW Forever dungeon healers need strong spot healing, group recovery, Mana control, and useful support between pulls. Smaller groups also reward healers that can respond quickly when one player suddenly takes heavy damage.
- Restoration Shaman — offers flexible healing, Riptide, Chain Heal, and a wide selection of useful Totems.
- Restoration Druid — combines mobile HoT healing with Wild Growth and improved Swiftmend for emergency recovery.
- Holy Paladin — provides strong single-target healing when the tank or another party member takes focused damage.
Restoration Shaman currently offers the strongest overall WoW Forever dungeon healer package in this category. Restoration Druid also looks particularly comfortable in smaller groups where its HoTs can cover several targets efficiently.
Best WoW Forever Solo Healer
For solo content, Discipline Priest is one of the strongest WoW Forever solo healer choices because it can deal damage while keeping its defensive abilities. Penance works as an offensive or defensive spell, and shields let Discipline control incoming damage before it becomes dangerous. These abilities make questing and soloing noticeably easier compared to healing specs focused almost entirely on recovery.
