📌 Tier List updated for Season 4.

Warpath Void Knight

The Warpath Void Knight build has high damage potential and high mobility, making it one of the best builds for farming and clearing content. This build is easy to play for new players because of the simple skill requirements. In addition, its usability in SSF gameplay makes it even more attractive, as it does not require a lot of gear dependencies to work effectively.

The Warpath skill is at the core of the Echo Warpath Void Knight build. Through continuous channeling of Warpath, players produce echoes that mimic their damage output through Echo Knight, and at the same time, apply Time Rot to achieve maximum damage potential through Maw of the Deep. This synergy guarantees unrivaled efficiency in both clearing waves of enemies and fighting bosses.

Ballista Falconer

Ballista Falconer (ZHP) is a Ballista-based build that focuses almost entirely on damage, relying mainly on dodge and proper positioning for defense. The build is famous for its very fast clearing speed and strong boss-fighting capabilities: you place turrets, move on, and the screen behind you is already crumbling. But you have to play it carefully, because this ZHP version doesn’t forgive mistakes easily.

Erasing Strike Void Knight

Erasing Strike Void Knight — a classic build for those who love big crits and a straightforward, easy-to-follow button cycle. The playstyle usually revolves around the combo of Devouring Orb, Void Well, and Erasing Strike, while Healing Hands helps you survive and stay alive in close combat. The result is a heavy, aggressive melee build with very satisfying burst damage and good map-clearing speed.

This is a good season-starter build that goes well with a Season Start Bundle. Once you reach the endgame, you unleash the full build’s potential and become  a really strong Knight, erasing everything on your way.

Judgement Aura Paladin

Anurok Frogs Beastmaster

Anurok Frogs Beastmaster is a minion-oriented build that plays the new Chorus of the Anurok, which turns the character into the leader of a whole frog army. The advantage of this build is that the summoned Frogs grow with stats very well, and with the alterations in Season 3, they feel more agile than the previous iterations of the minion master. In case you prefer the pets to do the mopping up in the meantime, and you work more on positioning and buffs, then this is a great option.

Judgment Paladin

A more aggressive variant of the Paladin, in which Judgment is no longer an aura, but the primary damage-dealing ability, and has a very large single-target damage. As of modern builds, the character will mostly pile on Healing Hands, be able to tank with block, armor, and endurance, and simply hit the enemy with a direct hit as opposed to necessitating Consecrated Ground. It is a kind of build that is tanky and also inflicts great damage on bosses.

Lightning Blast Runemaster

Lightning Blast Runemaster — a powerful caster design providing Lightning Blast with an Intelligence boost and the chains mechanic on top of it, and redirecting the chains to a single target with Convergence. This is one of the easiest to play, should you require a mage that has high potential damage, high survivability, and is easy to use.

Abomination Necromancer

The Abomination Necromancer is a build based on one giant minion that will do most of the hard work on your behalf. You call the Abomination, polish it with Dread Shade, and carefully watch the timing, as in most popular builds, it is not an endless effect, and you must re-summon it every now and then. During the game, it plays like a single giant monster rather than an army with extremely deadly damage, but a little more sensitive management compared to regular summoners.

You can get this Endgame Build with us and skip the most tiring grinding part. Since the Abomination Necromancer is one of the best builds now, it’ll be the most powerful choice for Necro players.

Rip Blood Warlock

Rip Blood Warlock is the most available variant of the three popular variants of the Warlock since it can be used even without the special items required. It is a pretty simple concept: spam Rip Blood, automatically cause Marrow Shards, place curses above that, and watch enemies drown in a shower of physical projectiles. It is a solid and simple build, and a good first Warlock build, but the clearing capability is typically less impressive than the Zombie variant.

Storm Crows Beastmaster

Storm Crows Beastmaster — a build with a flock of Storm Crows as its main focus, this build is far more aggressive than many would suggest a minion-based build to be. Typically, you will rush into a group and use Tempest Strike, Warcry, and Swipe, and Crowstorm cleanses them up with a group that is already downed, and the mobs have little to no hope. It is as though it were a combination of a fighter and a summoner: you do not stand in the background, but are in constant motion and maintain the pace.

Profane Veil Warlock

The Profane Veil Warlock is a character that individuals who adore massive burst attacks and an almost cheating survivability during the channeling will enjoy. The build is based on Profane Veil: when you are channeling, you release Profane Orbs, evade damage, and increase single-target damage to very high levels. The only demerit is that in the absence of the correct items, such as Vaion’s Chariot and recovery cooldown, it does not feel as powerful as it needs to be.

Skip the Campaign with us to test this build in the endgame. You will definetly like how strong this Warlock is with the key spells, and especially with the core items.

Zombie Warlock

Zombie Warlock is the most explosive and, perhaps, the most “show-stopping” Warlock option. Here’s how it works: you summon Volatile Zombies, channel Profane Veil, then detonate them with Chaos Bolts to unleash massive fire explosions across the screen. This build offers massive AoE and a high damage ceiling, but requires a bit more timing, because detonating too early or having a bad cycle immediately cuts into its effectiveness.

Flay Mana Lich

Flay Mana Lich — an aggressive Lich build using the Flay procs, and scales particularly well in the mana-stacking version. This option is usually chosen for strong bossing, a fast pace, and a very “edgy” gameplay experience, where mana becomes not a resource but a part of the damage. It’s not the most laid-back build on the list, but it has a serious damage ceiling and a very satisfying rhythm once the gear is fully built.

Last Epoch Popular Builds

Last Epoch Best Builds

Here we have gathered some of the players’ favorite builds that remain popular despite their place in the tier list. Some of them are the remnants from the early seasons, but their gameplay style still makes many players use them.

Blast Rain Marksman

Blast Rain Marksman is a quick, AoE, and single-target damage-focused build. It’s about creating a chain of projectiles through the use of Explosive Trap and Detonating Arrow. Reign of Winter’s specialized bow helps in screen-wide clears.

It’s a highly mobile spec with a lot of utility by wielding Shift and Smoke Bomb skills. It’s a great spec also for high-corruption content and bossing, though it does rely on some signature pieces and requires careful mana control to keep it up and running.

Explosive Ballista Falcon

Explosive Ballista Falconer is a master of explosive Ballistae using the Explosive Trap. With this build, a player will be unleashing massive AoE damage in Last Epoch and scales a lot in Dexterity and utilizes Falconry and Dive Bomb synergies to deal even more burst damage.

Despite the quick clears and great damage, it also seeks a “Zero Hit Points” (ZHP) build. Keep in mind the priority in this build is optimization through gear such as having -8 Throwing Attack Mana Cost.

Shadow Falconer Dagger

The Shadow Daggers Falconer is a highly mobile and slippery character build. It benefits from the synergy of Falconry and Shadow Daggers in successive critical strikes. It uses skills such as Dive Bomb and Aerial Assault to start and detonate Shadow Daggers for huge burst damage.

The build is focused on dodging and mobility, and you can use Smoke Bomb and other defense layers to cleanse high-corruption content. The build, as enjoyable and quick as it is, needs precise timings and positions in order to achieve the best rewards. However, our team can also help you with the rewarding content like the Aberroth boss, just ask!

Harvest Lich

The foundation of the Harvest Lich build is the transformation into Reaper Form. This gives you access to game-breaking offensive and defensive buffs, which makes it easy for you to lay waste to your enemies while boosting your survivability.

Use Harvest to channel the force of Necrotic melee attacks onto your enemies quickly. Harvest with synergistic nodes like Harrowing Blade and Rapid Destruction becomes an undefeatable weapon that can cut its way through enemy shields effortlessly.

Utilize Death Seal to empower yourself with Damage and Defense buffs. Giving a burst in the strategic moment with the Death Seal along with the generation of Reaper Form is one of the best ways to swing the tide of battle in your favor, allowing you to win the war.

Rive Void Knight

The Rive Void Knight is a master of close-quarters combat, relying on the Rive skill to launch a barrage of deadly attacks against foes. By allocating skills with a great deal of skill and choosing the right gear, this build turns Rive into a powerful weapon that can cut through even the strongest opponents. Furthermore, the build includes a number of supporting skills and defensive measures that ensure survivability in combat.

Rive is the main damage-dealing skill of this build. Specing into Flame Drinker’s Blade, Savagery, and Ripples of Oblivion allows you to exploit the capabilities of Rive and the synergy between Physical and Fire damage. Foe Cleaver, on the other hand, increases damage output by doubling the Damage stats of the two-handed weapon, leading to even more devastation from Rive.

Dancing Strikes Bladedancer

The Dancing Strikes Bladedancer build stands out from its counterpart by providing a Melee Bruiser playstyle. Rather than using hit-and-run tactics, this build encourages players to fight aggressively, using Dancing Strikes to move quickly while applying Shadow Daggers stacks and buffs.

This build is centered on the mastery of Dancing Strikes, an exclusive skill that keeps you moving as you perform a chain of melee attacks. With the effective use of Dancing Strikes, you can stack Shadow Daggers and buffs, increasing your damage potential and survivability.

Nova Hammerdin Paladin

Nova Hammerdin is a build that is known for its screen-wide clear and easy playstyle. With the right skill and gearing, this build can beat all content in the game, including competing in the Endless Arena.

The foundation of the Nova Hammerdin build is Hammer Throw, which releases a barrage of hammers to obliterate foes. With the help of Enra’s Technique and Avatar of the Spire, Hammer Throw turns into an AoE skill, covering the battlefield with Hammers and letting you destroy your opponents from far away.

The builds described are easy to play and effective when completing any type of content; however, they can lose when played in certain positions. That’s why we’ve also compiled tier lists for each specific playstyle, so you can choose the best builds in Last Epoch that suit your preferences.

Shadow Daggers Bladedancer

Do you crave speed? Shadow Daggers Bladedancer build is the fastest build in the game because of its high movespeed and short cooldowns on the core skills. But it is not only about speed; this build is a lethal combination of damage and defense and is a force to be reckoned with in any fight.

The Shadow Daggers Bladedancer build is focused on fast movement and unstoppable attacks. Using exclusive skills that have the movement tag, like Umbral Blades, Smoke Bomb, Shadow Cascade, and Synchronized Strike, you maintain an active playstyle while dealing massive damage to your opponents.

However, even with a strong build, you may find it difficult to clear Monolith to Farm Blessings. Therefore, we advise you to seek help from our professional players.

Electrify Javelin Paladin

Range Build

The Electrify Javelin Paladin, armored and carrying a massive shield, is the very embodiment of the fury of thunder on the battlefield, like Zeus himself. With a barrage of Javelins, you’ll apply stacks of Electrify to your targets, dealing massive lightning damage over time. Combined with the divine powers of Holy Aura and tactical skills, this build is a symbol of destruction that can conquer any challenge the game presents to you.

Javelin is the foundation of your offensive weaponry, providing lightning strikes to your enemies. Focus on exclusive skills like Siege Barrage and Spiked Bombardment to turn your javelin throws into an unstoppable barrage from above. Divine Throws and Purifying Lightning enhance your javelin’s performance, guaranteeing optimal Electrify stack application.

In the heat of the battle, survivability is the most important. This best Last Epoch range build focuses on the use of defensive skills such as Shield Rush or Lunge for tactical placement and movement. Moreover, Sigils of Hope offer priceless buffs, strengthening both your offense and defense.

Dragonsong Marksman

Range Build

The Dragonsong Marksman build represents the excitement of proc-based gameplay, where each critical hit ignites the battlefield with Dragonfire and summons celestial meteors to fall upon foes. The introduction of Harbinger of Stars, which activates Meteor with critical strikes, has made Dragonsong Marksman a peak option for players looking for a dynamic and fun playstyle.

The Dragonsong Marksman revolves around increasing critical strike chance and taking advantage of the synergy between Cinder Strike, Dragonfire, and Meteor. Cinder Strike is the main skill, which deals quick attacks and burns enemies with Burning Dagger and Firebreathing. This not only does a lot of damage but also gives important buffs to both offense and defense.

Holy Trail Javelin Paladin

Range Build

The Holy Trail Javelin Paladin uses the holy power of the Paladin to inflict massive damage and support allies. At the core of this build is the Holy Trail spell, a strong DoT ability that burns enemies while providing significant healing to you and your allies.

Combined with abilities such as Holy Aura, Sigils of Hope, and Volatile Reversal, the Holy Trail Javelin Paladin is an ideal combination of offense and defense that is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Static Orb Sorcerer

Caster Build

The Static Orb Sorcerer is a powerful force on the battlefield, using lightning power to destroy enemies with unmatched efficiency. This build centers around two primary damage skills: Static Orb and Lightning Blast. With its AoE power, Static Orb is great at clearing crowds, while Lightning Blast is better at dealing high single-target damage.

The Static Orb Sorcerer has a wide range of skills to help it survive in the midst of the battle. Flame Ward, in particular, gives priceless damage reduction, protecting you from even the most deadly attacks. Teleport is both a mobility tool and a defensive buffer, enabling you to move quickly and avoid incoming threats during fights like Harbingers. But you don’t have to fight them on your own, our team can lend you a helping hand.

Elemental Nova Sorcerer

Caster Build

The Elemental Nova Sorcerer embodies destruction, with unparalleled AoE damage and powerful single-target capabilities. Equipped with The Ashen Crown, this build allows you to cast Elemental Nova with surgical accuracy, enveloping foes in a whirlwind of lightning.

Elemental Nova is your main source of damage. Supported by synergistic nodes like Elemental Expanse and Spark Charges, Elemental Nova has an enormous AoE radius, making sure that no enemy can get away. Focus on the most important chance optimization through Lightning Nova and Charged Destruction to achieve the best results.

Golem Necromancer

Minion Build

The Golem Necromancer is all about summoning and controlling a single Summon Bone Golem, a towering abomination of bones. This build uses spamming Rip Blood on the Golem to make it cast Bone Nova all the time, doing huge AoE damage to all surrounding enemies. With the correct application of buffs such as Dread Shade and Bone Curse, this Necromancer can deal damage and survivability unparalleled by any other character in Hardcore mode, which allows it to win any fight.

Manifest Armor Forge Guard

Minion Build

The Manifest Armor Forge Guard build takes advantage of the power of the forge to summon a terrible minion that can obliterate multitudes of enemies with its explosive blasts. This build is mainly focused on the combination of Shield Throw and Manifest Armor that delivers AoE melee attacks, and the use of exclusive skills such as Sigils of Hope and Javelin to increase your attack and defense.
