📌 BlizzCon is scheduled to take place from September 12 to 13. The timing matches Blizzard’s plan to reveal more Season 15 content during BlizzCon.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Features

Diablo 4 Season 15 New Seasonal Mechanics

Diablo 4 Season 15 Overview

The main Diablo 4 Season 15 seasonal mechanic revealed on PTR is the new Soul Splinter system. These socketable items fit into jewelry and grant resistance alongside a powerful bonus. Each Soul Splinter also adds a drawback, pushing builds toward different damage, defense, farming, or mobility setups.

  • Splinter of Anguish: increases Critical Strike Chance and Attack Speed but raises Primary Resource Costs.
  • Splinter of Sin: increases Maximum Health while reducing Maximum Primary Resource.
  • Splinter of Lies: boosts Gold, crafting materials, and XP but keeps you Weakened and Vulnerable.
  • Splinter of the Black Soulstone: grants stacking damage after kills while also increasing damage taken.
  • Splinter of Pain: provides Damage Reduction at the cost of Movement Speed.
  • Splinter of the Mother: makes you Unhindered and applies Vulnerable through contact, but eventually Stuns your character.
  • Splinter of Hellfire: grants a large damage bonus but removes your Critical Strike Chance.
  • Splinter of Damnation: increases Monster Power after Elite kills, trading greater difficulty for stronger farming opportunities.

Soul Splinters come in five qualities and can be upgraded through the Horadric Cube. Their values may still change before Season 15 launches, so early setups should stay flexible. If you want to test it all early on, our Power Leveling can help you prepare a character for experimenting with these new powers once the season begins.

Diablo 4 Season 15 New Dungeons

Diablo 4 Season 15 adds Challenge Dungeons, which appear through portals that open while exploring the Overland. Once entered, a Challenge Dungeon will start an additional boss fight that has its own difficulty level choice option.

On Torment difficulties, you can increase the level of the Challenge Dungeon by three levels above its difficulty. The harder Challenge Dungeon will deliver better rewards. In fact, this is one of the fastest methods to check if your build is capable of dealing with content higher than your usual farming difficulty level. And if you need reliable building tips, ask our professional players for a Build Check.

📌 The final Diablo 4 Season 15 Challenge Dungeons will not use the exact PTR content. Blizzard states that the test encounters existed to test the system itself. We should expect different Challenge Dungeon content when Season 15 goes live.

Diablo 4 Season 15 New Open-World Encounters

Diablo 4 Season 15 Overview

Overland Ambushes become another new addition to Diablo IV Season 15 gameplay. The ambushes can interrupt normal exploration across Sanctuary, as during these encounters, a powerful demon can begin hunting you without requiring a separate activity queue.

✏️ You receive a warning when an Ambush begins and have 30 seconds before the confrontation develops. At that point, you can stay and fight or attempt to escape.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Item Changes

Diablo 4 Season 15 Overview

Several essential Diablo 4 Season 15 item changes will be important to consider when looking for the loot chase. First of all, Legacy Uniques return from older Diablo games, Mythic crafting gains more player control, and Charms receive another rarity tier. Here’s a list of the most important Diablo IV item changes in Patch 3.2.0:

  1. Returning Legacy Uniques;
  2. Mythic Unique Changes;
  3. New Unique and Mythic Charms.

If you need a specific Mythic Unique Item, but don’t want to grind it, our team can help you get one. Just reach out to our pro players, and they will deliver the desired Unique to you.

Diablo 4 Returning Legacy Uniques

Legacy Uniques bring recognizable equipment from previous Diablo games into Diablo 4. Blizzard adapts their old effects to fit the current item system instead of copying them exactly. These items are permanent additions and will remain available outside Season 15. The current official Season 15 list contains the following nine Legacy Uniques:

Legacy UniqueSlotAvailable Classes

Diablo 4 Mythic Unique Changes

Mythic crafting in Diablo 4 Season 15 changes by giving us a direct upgrade path through the Horadric Cube. Each method handles its result differently, so the system now offers several paths for different stages of gearing.

Mythic MethodResultCrafted Tag
Horadric Cube Direct UpgradeConverts the selected eligible item directly into a Mythic✅ Yes
Jeweler Rune CraftingRandom class-specific Mythic from the selected equipment slot⛔️ No
Blacksmith Mythic CacheRandom valid Mythic Unique or Iconic Mythic⛔️ No

📌 Season 15 still keeps other Mythic crafting routes.

The Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic recipe converts an eligible item into its Mythic state. It preserves existing affixes, Tempering, Masterworking, and other modifications during the transfer. The Mythic recipe costs more than the other Mythic crafting methods, but it removes the random result from the conversion. An item marked Unmodifiable cannot use the direct upgrade recipe.

Directly upgraded Mythics receive a Crafted tag. You can equip only one item carrying this tag at a time. That restriction applies specifically to Mythics created through the direct Horadric Cube upgrade.

The Jeweler recipe still uses Resplendent Sparks and Runes. You select an equipment slot, then receive a random class-specific Mythic available for that slot.

✏️ Blacksmith Mythic Caches can also produce Mythic Uniques or Iconic Mythics without adding the Crafted tag.

Another Season 15 change gives every Iconic Mythic a regular Unique version. These versions should appear earlier during character progression than their Mythic counterparts. You can build around the same core item concept before completing the full Mythic chase.

Diablo 4 New Unique and Mythic Charms

The Talisman system also grows in Diablo 4 Season 15 through new Unique and Mythic Unique Charms. Any existing Diablo IV Unique Charm can have a small chance to drop at Mythic quality. These Mythic versions receive maximum property rolls and a stronger Unique property.

Mythic Unique Charms cannot be crafted, and there’s no dedicated target-farming method yet. You will need to find them as natural drops. This keeps Mythic Charms separate from the new deterministic Mythic equipment recipe.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Quality-of-Life Changes

Diablo 4 Season 15 adds two systems focused on character management and account rewards:

  1. Character Rebirth — a new system that allows character transitioning to a seasonal realm;
  2. Horadric Post — a new mail system allowing in-game rewards delivery.

Diablo 4 Character Rebirth

Diablo 4 Season 15 Overview

A newly added Diablo IV Rebirth lets you convert an existing Eternal character into a fresh Seasonal character. The character returns to level 1 and begins seasonal progression from the start. Rebirth does not transfer combat power, equipment, or completed seasonal progress. The Diablo IV Character Rebirth system keeps several parts of the character’s identity:

  • Class, name, and appearance.
  • Normal or Hardcore status.
  • Transmogs and pigments.
  • Mounts and mount accessories.
  • Pets, portals, and headstones.
  • Total playtime tracked across Rebirths.

Since you get a refreshed “new-old” character, you’ll need to prepare its build from scratch. Thus, using our Leveling Bundle can come in handy, since you’ll not only level up, but also get Paragon Boards all settled.

📌 Season 15 PTR testing of the system shows that you must remove every equipped and carried item before activating Rebirth. The game blocks the process while equipment or personal inventory still contains items. Anything you want to keep should go into storage before starting the conversion.

Diablo 4 Horadric Post

Diablo 4 Season 15 Overview

The Horadric Post is a new account delivery system coming with Diablo 4 Season 15. Currently, it only allows in-game rewards delivery, but we expect Blizzard to make it possible to use the post to send messages, rewards, supplies, and commemorative items directly to players.

📌 Some players suggest that the introduction of the mailing system hints at possible Auction House implementation.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Class Changes

Diablo IV Patch 3.2.0 brings a large class balance pass alongside the new Season 15 content. Several classes receive Core Stat scaling changes, while skills, Paragon nodes, Aspects, Talismans, and Uniques also receive tuning.

ClassMain PTR Changes
