Diablo 4, scheduled for release on June 2, 2023, has a new collectible item already appreciated by beta players, the Altars of Lilith. We’ll tell you a little bit about who Lilith is in Diablo 4, why they erected Altars for her, and all known Altars of Lilith locations in each of the main regions in Fractured Peaks in the first act.
These creepy statues have been built all over Sanctuary, and you can interact with them to enhance your character’s performance and gain other bonuses. The special bonuses gained will be shared by all your characters created in this world.
What do the Altars of Lilith do in Diablo 4?
During the beta test in Diablo 4, players were able to discover all 28 Altars of Lilith. So far they give the following improvements:
- Health +8
- Strength +2
- Dexterity +2
- Willpower +2
- Intelligence +2
- Murmuring Obols +5 to max capacity
All bonuses apply to all heroes in your account at once. In other words, once the Altar of Lilith is found, the bonuses are available to any character you play in this world. However, other characters you may create can still find these statues and interact with them again for experience and glory, as these are personal rewards for the character interacting with the statue.
All Altars of Lilith Rewards
Although, by chance all Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4 can also provide other rewards, such as increasing the number of Murmuring Obols the player can hold, or an HP boost. But, in most cases, players will receive a basic stat boost +2.

In addition to the stat boost, players of Diablo 4 will also receive some Renown in the area of the map where they discovered any of all Altars of Lilith. Renown is a gameplay system in Diablo IV. Players can gain up to five levels of renown in each of the main regions of the game. Like the other bonuses, Renown persists between the player’s characters.
Completing a level gives the player rewards such as gold, skill points, extra health potion points, etc. You can level up Paragon points in later levels.
Another way to get rewards besides discovering Altars of Lilith is to unlock waypoints by clearing strongholds, completing dungeons and side quests.
Where are the statues of Lilith in Diablo 4?

How many Altars does Lilith have?
You will find 28 Altars of Lilith scattered throughout the Fractured Peaks area. Note that after the first altar, the others will only appear after you reach the main city of Kyovashad and complete the tutorial in which the mystery man leaves the city.

1 Altar of Lilith in the Desolate Highlands 1
Zone: Desolate Highlands
Area: Icehowl Taiga
Reward: Maximum Murmuring Obols +5
This Altar of Lilith is hard to miss, as it will be the first one you encounter after leaving the village of Nevesk after training. Immediately after exiting the gate on the northeast side of the village, look for the Altar on the main path.
2 Altar of Lilith in the Desolate Highlands 2

Area: Icehowl Taiga
Reward: Strength +2
After you’ve completed your training, head back through the village of Nevesk and take the low walkway to the cave where you first started the game, just north of the Lost Archives dungeon. Near the main path you will find the Altar of Lilith on the south side of the grove of impenetrable trees.

Area: Eastern Pass
Reward: Dexterity +2
Follow the main trail leading north to Kyovashad from the Hermit’s cabin and then look along the right side of the cliff, from which you can interact to climb up to a small abandoned camp. To the right of this camp you will find the Altar of Lilith.

Area: Father`s Cross.

This Altar of Lilith can be found west of the entrance to Kyovashad Gatehouse. You will need to walk on the far west path near where the world events often appear, and look to the right of the large open area to find a small alcove where the statue is located.
5 Altar of Lilith in the Palid Glade 1

Reward: Maximum Murmuring Wounds +5
This altar of Lilith can be found northwest of the road from Nevesk, just east of the lower path into the Dry Steppes. Look along the dirt trail for a grove of trees where the Altar can be found on the south side.

This Altar of Lilith is hard to find, as it is hidden at the southern edge of the map as you explore the lower eastern half of the BrineWood, east of Nostrava Stronghold. Look around the area along the lower eastern edge to find it.
7 Altar of Lilith in the Palid Glade 3
Zone: Palid Glade
Area: Melnik’s Hill
Reward: Willpower +2
You can find this Altar of Lilith in the house at the top of Melnik’s Hill, a subzone located in the northeast corner of Palid Glade. Look south of the main trail leading east to Sarkova Pass to explore the narrow passageway leading to the house entrance on the south side.

Zone: Sarkova Pass.
Area: Western Ways.
Reward: Willpower +2
This Altar of Lilith can be found on the left road of the two connecting Kyovashad to Menestad, and is just south of the latter town. Look for the narrow passage along the main path and you will find a small alcove to the left of the statue.
9 Altar of Lilith in the Sarkova Pass 2
Zone: Sarkova Pass
Area: Western Ways
Reward: Maximum of Murmuring Obols +5
You can find this Altar of Lilith on the far northwest section of the Western Ways, just below the sub-region that leads to Scosglen, and it can be found northwest of the town of Menestad on the narrowest path to the left – in front of a peak with a bone.

This Altar of Lilith is located west of the Forbidden City dungeon in the northern part of the Western Ways, just north of the city of Menestad. It is located on the edge of a large niche near the entrance to the dungeon.

The Altar of Lilith in the Crags of Ill Wind can be found on a narrow path on the eastern edge of the Sarkova Pass, located along the main road leading from the pass to the Frigid Expanse. You can find it on the path just above the Forsaken Quarry dungeon.
12 Altar of Lilith in the Dobrev Taiga 1

Area: Southeast Foothills

Right after leaving Kyovashad on the road to the south, jump across the chasm west to the narrow path bordering the Cemetery of the Radiance Field to find the Altar of Lilith on the far west side of this path.

This Altar of Lilith is located on a small path south of the town of Margrave and east of the road to Hawezar, in a niche just south of the main open area.

East of Margrave and Maulwood Dungeon, go north in the west tunnels up the cliff, you can climb up to the exit to the Krol forest to find it on the right in a small open cave room.

East of Kyovashad Cathedral of Light, go north from the east gate and find a niche just below the cliff that you can climb to find the Altar of Lilith.

East of the east gate of Kyovashad, between the dungeons of the Immortal Emanation and the Black Asylum, look north from the frozen Lake Klokova to find a small path to the plateau leading southwest to find the Altar of Lilith above.

This Altar of Lilith can be found to the east and slightly north of the Forsaken Quarry dungeon, in a small lower alcove under the path leading to the hot spring geysers.

East of the Immortal Emanation dungeon, look along the south edge of the ice river to find a small camp to the left where the Altar of Lilith is located.

This Altar of Lilith is well hidden – it is located in the far southeastern part of the zone, southeast of Malnok Stronghold, just before the crossroads leading into Gale Valley, and behind a small camp on the plateau to the south.

In the upper northwestern part of this region, jump over a broken bridge or descend from the Frigid Expanse to find a thin stretch of land crossing the river to the mill, where the Altar of Lilith is just before the undamaged bridge.

This Altar of Lilith is located in a small area southeast of the town of Yalesna where the river flows into the waterfall, go to the very south and to the right to find it at the edge of the camp by a ravine that you can jump over.

On the northern edge of the large lake east of the town of Yalesna and northwest of the Dead Man’s Dredge dungeon, the Altar of Lilith is hidden among the reeds and the roof that fell in front of the collapsed cabins at the edge of the location.

North of the Hoarfrost’s Demise dungeon, the Altar of Lilith is just above the main path leading across this area along the cliff edges to the west of Kor Valar.

Near the center of the region, there are a series of circular impassable chasms to the southwest of the College of Light area, leading to the high elevation at the Altar of Purity. Check the easternmost right side of the largest impassable chasm, hidden by ice drifts at the top, to find the Altar of Lilith.
25 Altar of Lilith in the Seat of the Heavens 3

On the far right cliffs of this region you can find the Altar of Lilith to the right of the main path south of the College of Light and directly west of the Alabaster Monastery by going over the range of mountains.
26 Altar of Lilith in the Nostrava Stronghold
Area: Nostrava
Reward: Intelligence +2
During the Stronghold event in Nostrava, which you can access in the lower right corner of the Palid Glade, examine the large tavern in the upper right corner of the city and dive under the broken wall after destruction to find the Altar of Lilith at the back.
27 Altar of Lilith in the Kor Dragan Stronghold
Area: Kor Dragan
Reward: Willpower +2
During the Stronghold event in Kor Dragan, which you can access at the top of the location behind the Sarkova Pass, find the south ramparts under the square with the vampire spoil and move to the right to find the middle entrance to the stronghold, where the Altar of Lilith is located.
28 Altar of Lilith in the Malnok Stronghold
Area: Malnok
Reward: Strength +2
During the Stronghold event in Malnok, located between Frigid Expanse and the Seat of the Heavens, go to the lower southern edge of the area to find a frozen building with ice blocking the door. Break the ice and go inside to find the Altar of Lilith inside.
When you find all the Altars of Lilith, you’ll have enough experience to try and fight Diablo 4’s first major world boss, Ashava. Or you can create new characters in a class you haven’t tried yet and level them up in the same way.
Who is Lilith in Diablo 4?
| Lilith is the daughter of Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, and Lucion’s sister, known throughout Sanctuary as the Queen of Succubi. Long ago she was the lover of the archangel Inarius, and her union with him led to the creation of the first Nephalem. Such union of an angel and a demon was without precedent, as was the birth of their offspring. |  |
Linarian was the first of these new beings called “nephalem,” but he was not the only one. Other angels and demons, following their example, also produced their offspring. This is how the Nephalem came into being. The first generation of Nephalems was called the Ancients. The Ancients were the ones who erected the altars sacred to Lilith.
