Coal brings MW4 to a mountainous Soviet coal-processing site. A collapsed smokestack, industrial buildings, and a slurry-filled river define its ruined landscape.
Lithium
The Lithium facility is located inside a Mexican refinery in the Sierra mountains. The garage doors offer a unique way to move in, since you can always squeeze under them even when they’re not fully closed. This would be our first exercise.
Your preferred rifle may need different attachments on Lithium than it does inside Lotus’s buildings. With MW4 Weapon Leveling, you can prepare those attachment options and spend more matches refining your loadout.
Lotus
Lotus is a Korean fishing village damaged by an amphibious assault. A market, hostel, and boathouse give the map distinct landmarks. The boathouse pipe offers access to an upper floor, while the main street creates longer sightlines than the interiors.
Mumbai
The Mumbai map centers on a fugitive’s hideout within a crowded residential district. A Victorian market and railway cutting through the neighborhood establish its setting.
Munition
Munition takes players inside an active North Korean command facility. Its ammunition depot, hangars, monitoring rooms, and elevated connecting bridge shape the military installation.
Nautical
Nautical places MW4’s 6v6 combat aboard a South Korean ferry departing at dawn. Debris covers the decks while fires burn along the bow and starboard side.
Reactor U92
Reactor U92 depicts a Korean nuclear facility during a meltdown. A damaged control room and boiling containment pool form the map’s most distinctive environmental features.
Rooftops
The Rooftops map spreads across New York’s snow-covered Hotel Times West. A greenhouse, mechanical platforms, patio, and laundry room give players recognizable landmarks. Exterior walkways add routes around the roofline, so check nearby access points before settling into a firing position.
Sentry
Sentry covers a North Korean military base during whiteout conditions. A command center, damaged barracks, maintenance garage, generator room, and substation make up the installation.
Silkworm
Silkworm brings close urban fighting to a South Korean shopping district with a subway entrance and narrow side streets. Its parked cars also support mantle-slide movement. Practice maintaining your aim through that transition before using it to challenge a street crossing.
Transit 213
Transit 213 makes an abandoned Indian bus station a small-scale battleground. On the sides of the crowded space stand a garage and a gas station. Buses provide cover, but their central locations make them targets for grenades. Do not stay at one bus after an encounter.

Wolves Stadium
Wolves Stadium brings Ground War to a densely populated urban area with several-storey buildings, tunnels, rooftops, and hilly terrain all around. The amphitheater is a defensible location; ascenders and climbing allow one to ascend to higher ground. We would find a safe way between objectives before crossing major roads several times.
Forest
Forest joins the Ground War roster on October 23. It did not appear in the beta’s two-map Ground War selection. Its inclusion is confirmed, while a detailed layout and named tactical positions remain unannounced.

Kill Block in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is a modular combat environment inside the West Bridge Advanced Military Training Facility. Every layout combines two outer sections and one central section. More than 500 configurations are possible at launch.
Gunfight supports 3v3 and 10v10 variants on this battleground. Teams switch sides after each round, while the layout and shared randomized loadout change every two rounds. That gives both teams a chance to play each side before the next configuration arrives.
