In our BO6 How To Unlock All Season 2 Attachments guide, we are going to discuss the new attachments that have been added to Season 2 of Call of Duty BO6. The new attachments provide various tactical benefits, enabling more strategic and customized fighting. This Black Ops 6 Season 2 Attachments guide will give a brief overview of all the new attachments, explaining their uses and how to unlock them.
Crossbow Attachment
Unlocked at Page 7 of the Season 2 Battle Pass
Crossbow is an underbarrel innovative attachment that works on all standard weapons like Assault Rifles, most Marksman Rifles, and the ASG‑89 Shotgun. It functions like an underbarrel grenade launcher. Switch your weapon’s fire mode to activate the Crossbow and fire explosive-tipped bolts that detonate after a short delay. The Crossbow comes with two bolts, but you can replenish them using the Scavenger Perk and the Assault Pack Field Upgrade.

Full Auto Attachment
Unlocked via The Terminator Event
During Season 2’s Terminator Event, you can earn the Full Auto Mod for AEK‑973 Marksman Rifle. This devastating attachment is exclusive to the AEK‑973 and converts its burst-fire mode into full-auto mode. The upgrade boosts the rate of fire, but it also slightly increases vertical recoil and reduces both damage and range.
Equipping the Full Auto Mod unlocks the 5.45 Extended Mag I, which expands the ammo capacity to a total of 45 rounds. However, using this combination prevents you from attaching any other magazine upgrades, and both items remain exclusive to the AEK‑973 for Season 2.
Binary Trigger Attachment
Unlocked via The Shadow Hunt Event
Just like the Full Auto Mod, the Binary Trigger is a Fire Mod event reward earned through a limited-time event — the Shadow Hunt Event. This attachment is exclusive to the Tanto .22 Submachine Gun. When equipped, it converts the Tanto .22 into a semi-auto weapon with a faster rate fire. It fires one bullet on trigger pull and another on release, effectively doubling the fire rate with a fast trigger finger.
If you set Manual Fire Behavior to “Hold” in Advanced Combat Settings, the Binary Trigger acts as a burst-fire attachment like semi-auto mode. In that mode, it slows the fire rate but allows continuous shooting by holding the fire button. Unlike the previous attachments, the Binary Trigger prevents you from using other Barrel and Underbarrel attachments and increases vertical recoil when fired rapidly.
Belt-Fed Attachment
Unlocked through a Mid-Season Event
The final attachment coming to Black Ops 6 in Season 2 is the Belt-Fed attachment for LMGs. This magazine attachment upgrade is exclusive to Light Machine Guns and will launch during an upcoming event after the Season 2 Reloaded update.
The Belt-Fed is a game-changing LMG innovative attachment that works very much like the Belt-Feed Operator Mod from Black Ops 4. It lets you continue firing without reloading because the gun shoots its full ammo capacity as one enormous magazine. However, if you continue firing for a long time, the gun will overheat, so you’ll need to watch out for your firing bursts.

Unlocking and incorporating these attachments into your loadouts allows you to customize your weapons to better fit your playstyle and provide you with a tactical advantage in different situations.
