Black Ops 7 Season 5 Zombies Update
Black Ops 7 Season 5 gives Zombies players new content at launch and another major drop during mid-season. The first half focuses on new ways to play familiar locations, while Rex Infernus handles the story finale later. The Black Ops 7 Season 5 Zombies update includes:
- Eidskallen Lighthouse Survival Map;
- Directed Mode and Starting Room for Kowakujō;
- Casual, Normal, and Hardcore Astra Malorum Rogue Run playlists;
- The new Curse Inducer for Rogue Run;
- Rex Infernus, the final round-based Zombies map;
- Widow’s Wine and Fully Packed GobbleGum;
- Olympia and TR2 Ultra-Rarity legacy weapons.
Black Ops 7 Eidskallen Lighthouse Survival Map
The Eidskallen Lighthouse turns Beacon Island into a cramped Survival map that focuses on the frozen shore and the lighthouse itself. The Pack-a-Punch is right up top, so all good teams make sure to head upstairs sooner or later. BO7 Eidskallen Lighthouse also provides rewards:
- Complete Round 10 — Valhallan Animated Emblem and 1,000 XP.
- Complete Round 25 — Eidskallen’s Light Weapon Charm and 2,500 XP.
- Complete Round 50 — Gift Card GobbleGum and 5,000 XP.
Black Ops 7 Kowakujō Directed Mode
Bo7 Season 5 brings Directed Mode to Kowakujō, putting each Main Quest objective directly on screen. A full clear awards the Yōjinbō Carver Operator Skin, a Calling Card of completion, and 5,000 XP. It is the straightforward route for anyone who left the Easter Egg unfinished or missed several hidden steps.
Black Ops 7 Starting Room Mode
Starting Room: Kowakujō locks the team inside the Outer Ward. Players can use a Jäger 45 Wall Buy, Mystery Box, Ghostly Rifleman Trap, Quick Revive, and several basic machines. The Starting Room rewards are:
- Reach Round 10 — Hellping Hound GobbleGum and 1,000 XP.
- Reach Round 25 — Armor Gettin’ GobbleGum and 2,500 XP.
- Reach Round 50 — Hidden Power GobbleGum and 5,000 XP.
Black Ops 7 Astra Malorum Rogue Run
Rogue Run expands to Astra Malorum through Casual, Normal, and Hardcore playlists. Each run moves through locations such as Crash Site, Museum Infinitum, and Mars. Players survive waves and select upgrades from randomized reward paths.
Black Ops 7 Rex Infernus Zombies Map
Rex Infernus is the final round-based map in the Black Ops 7 Zombies storyline. It arrives during Season 5 Reloaded and places the crew against the Warden’s growing corruption.
Players must cleanse locations controlled by the Shadowsmiths before reaching the final confrontation. The map includes a new Wonder Weapon, GobbleGum, Perk-a-Cola, and two legacy weapons.
Activision has kept the Main Quest and boss details hidden. We will update this section when the full Season 5 Reloaded reveal arrives.
Rex Infernus continues the current Zombies story, so clearing the previous Main Quest first makes sense. Our BO7 Kowakujo option covers the full Easter Egg, including the final castle encounter and completion rewards.
Black Ops 7 New Zombies Items
Widow’s Wine returns during mid-season as the new Season 5 Perk-a-Cola. The perk traditionally creates a defensive web effect when zombies hit the player. Black Ops 7 Season 5 Reloaded also adds:
- Fully Packed GobbleGum;
- Olympia Shotgun legacy weapon;
- TR2 Marksman Rifle legacy weapon;
- A new Rex Infernus Wonder Weapon;
- More Ultra-Rarity weapon options.
Exact stats and acquisition methods remain unconfirmed. Those details should arrive with the Reloaded patch notes.
Warzone Season 5 Updates
Warzone Season 5 is built around Drone Labs, but the Verdansk update goes beyond one new POI. New loot sources, combat gear, LTMs, and Resurgence tools arrive across launch and mid-season. The main Warzone Season 5 additions are:
- Drone Labs POI with an unlockable armed JLTV;
- Lockdown Casual at launch;
- The 50v50 Heavy Metal Heroes mode;
- Juggernaut Armor for Battle Royale and Resurgence;
- Airborne Supply Drones and Buy Stations;
- The HKDs Killstreak;
- Quickdrop Kits and Special Delivery Drones;
- A new Resurgence Ranked Play season.
Warzone Season 5 Drone Labs POI on Verdansk
Drone Labs is a new Verdansk POI east of TV Station and south of Quarry. Automaton Labs operates the facility and releases Supply Drones across the map.
The main complex contains two large L-shaped buildings. Administrative Offices occupy one structure, while Research and Development fills the other. A skybridge and zipline connect the buildings across several levels.
Rooftops provide long-range positions, while the interiors hold more loot and close-range routes. The nearby drone obstacle course creates another open combat area with plenty of ambush spots.
A locked garage inside Drone Labs contains a rare armed JLTV. Squads must locate the required codes before they can drive it away.
Warzone Season 5 Modes
Season 5 in Warzone introduces Lockdown Casual at launch and Heavy Metal Heroes later in the season.
| Mode | Format | Release |
|---|---|---|
| Lockdown Casual | 12v12 on Verdansk | Launch |
| Heavy Metal Heroes | 50v50 Battle Royale | In-Season |
Warzone Season 5 Lockdown Casual Mode
Lockdown Casual drops players into Drone Labs with their Custom Loadouts. Teams fight for zones and constantly respawn with random killstreaks, including Juggernaut and War Machine. The mode also offers three challenges:
- Use 15 killstreaks — Area Locked Weapon Charm.
- Defend a High Value zone for 120 seconds — Hostile Custodian Spray.
- Complete five zone takeovers — Lockdown Hero Animated Calling Card.
Warzone Season 5 New Gameplay Features
The Warzone Season 5 roadmap adds several items across Battle Royale and Resurgence:
| Feature | Available Modes | Release |
|---|---|---|
| Juggernaut Armor | Battle Royale, Resurgence | Launch |
| Supply Drones | Battle Royale | Launch |
| HKDs Killstreak | Battle Royale, Resurgence | Launch |
| Quickdrop Kit | Resurgence | Mid-Season |
| Special Delivery Drone | Resurgence | Mid-Season |
Juggernaut Armor and the new drone equipment may open fresh routes for high-risk Warzone matches. Our Warzone Nuke Quest option focuses on the full challenge and its exclusive skins, camos, and other cosmetics.
Warzone Season 5 Resurgence Ranked Play
Season 5 Resurgence Ranked Play supports three maps:
- Rebirth Island;
- Fortune’s Keep;
- Haven’s Hollow.
Players earn Skill Rating through placements, eliminations, and squad performance. Seasonal rewards include the Storm of the Serpent blueprint, Ranked camos, Calling Cards, and Top 250 cosmetics.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Endgame Content
Black Ops 7 Endgame receives a smaller Season 5 update centered on one new Assignment and further character upgrades. This is also the last season when players can access Endgame without owning Black Ops 7. The Black Ops 7 Season 5 main Endgame changes include:
- Burn Run, a timed vehicle Assignment with 30 checkpoints;
- Exotic Ability Boosts for Major and Minor Abilities;
- Free Endgame access through the end of Season 5.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Burn Run Assignment
Burn Run places the squad inside a bomb-rigged vehicle with an active timer. Players must drive through 30 burning arches before the vehicle explodes.
Running over Fear enemies and roadside objects adds seconds to the timer. Repair wrenches restore vehicle health, while speed bonuses help the driver stay on pace.
The task sounds simple until the car starts losing health and the route fills with enemies. One bad turn can waste several checkpoints, so someone should focus fully on driving.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Exotic Ability Boosts
Exotic Ability Boosts modify the Major and Minor Abilities equipped by an Operator. Their effects include shorter cooldowns, extra ammunition, and bonus damage types.
Each Major and Minor Ability has two possible boosts. The equipped upgrade remains active until the player wipes or replaces the affected Ability.
Nightmare activities provide the best chance to find these items. Ability Boosts can also appear in Zone IV, though the drop rate is lower.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Events
Black Ops 7 Season 5 features events across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. The rewards include the Mammoth LMG, universal camos, weapon blueprints, and smaller cosmetics.
