4.9All Black Ops 6 Camos And How To Unlock Them
In Black Ops 6, there is a great variety of Camos one can unlock: everything from simple Military Camos to prestige Mastery Camos. In total, we have 495 Camos in Black Ops 6. There are nine Military, two Unique, and four Mastery Camos per weapon for 33 weapons in the game. The following are details on each different type, along with how to unlock these Camos.
We have four Mastery Camos available for every weapon in three game modes, covering Multiplayer, Zombie Mode, and Warzone.
How Do Black Ops 6 Camos Work?
Tied to various in-game challenges required for each weapon, the challenge for unlocking Camos is tied to different kinds. The challenges vary greatly, coming either as high numbers of eliminations or sometimes on the type of kill, such as headshots or double kills. As you go through these challenges, the rarity and impressiveness of Camos on your weapons keep getting unlocked.

BO6 Military Camos
Military Camos are the base Camos unlocked for progression by players when going through basic Military Camo challenges with each weapon. Normally, these represent Camo patterns inspired by practical field use and are the easiest to unlock in a game.
How to Unlock BO6 Military Camos
The first 9 Camos are Military Camos, and all weapons in the game have them.
Military Camos will unlock by completing certain tasks such as specific unlock criteria: number of kills, headshots acquired, or being able to take out a lot of enemies without dying. Since each class of weapons has different challenges for the Military Camos, it does become quite needed to change loadouts.
For example, to unlock Red Tiger 9mm PM Camo, players need to unlock all 8 Camos by completing the challenge for each. After that, they can start the Challenge 9: ‘100 Headshot Kills’ to unlock the Red Tiger Camo.

Black Ops 6 Special Camos
Special Camo is earned through more unique, one-off challenges that often involve the use of a weapon in a very specific way. For example, these challenges often include point-blank kills, mounted kills, and multi-kills in rapid succession.
To unlock Special Camos, you need to unlock all 9 Military Camos. Once you have done that, you will be able to start the challenge for the Special Camos.
It would be, for instance, the AK-74 Whitecap, which requires you to continue doing tasks for the Military Camos until it reaches the Red Tiger. Once the latter is unlocked, you can start with the set of challenges that will now unlock the AK-74 Whitecap Special Camo.
How to Unlock Black Ops 6 Mastery Camos
Mastery Camos is Exclusive Rewards Camos in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer mode as a tier system nested inside another tier system. In it, Camos like Gold might be easier to get, while top-tier cosmetics like Dark Matter are just far into the higher tiers of difficulty and exclusivity. Just as with any other Camos, you will need to unlock each Mastery Camo in order-meaning you have to earn one to move on to the next.
To put this into perspective, to unlock Mastery Camo Tiers 3 and 4 for an assault rifle, you need to follow special unlock criteria Mastery Camo Tier 2 and Tier 3 for every assault rifle in the game, which at launch comes to seven different ARs. Once that’s completed, you’ll need to go back and do this across all available weapons, which comes to 33 guns in total.
