Gnomeregan Location
Gnomeregan is situated in the northwest corner of Dun Morogh (24,40), deep within Alliance territory.

How to Get to the Gnomeregan
For Alliance players, the closest flight path is Ironforge, while Horde players will need to utilize the teleporter from Booty Bay:
- Head to the Engineering shop in Orgrimmar and speak to Sovik.
- Accept the quest Chief Engineer Scooty at level 20.
- Travel to Ratchet and take the boat to Booty Bay.
- Locate Scooty along the docks, on the lower floor close to the inn.
- Speak to Scooty, complete the quest, and its follow-up Gnomer-gooooone! to be transported to Gnomeregan using the Goblin Transponder.
To find the raid entrance, take the elevator from Dun Morogh down into Gnomeregan. Follow the path, take a left turn, and follow the road to discover the dungeon entrance. Teleporter users will exit the room and head down the Western path, leading directly to the dungeon entrance.

The Gnomeregan Raid Overview

Gnomeregan Map

Gnomeregan Map Explained
- Grubbis: Emerges within the cave confrontation.
- Viscous Fallout: Found on the lower level of the Hall of Gears.
- Electrocutioner 6000: Positioned at the heart of the upper zone in the Launch Bay.
- Crowd Pummeler 9-60: Resides in the upper reaches of the Engineering Labs.
- Mechanical Menagerie: Encountered within the final tunnel.
- Mekgineer Thermaplugg: Located at the center of the Tinkers’ Court.
Gnomeregan’s intricate layout demands careful navigation to optimize your progression. Upon entering the dungeon, follow the designated tunnel until it culminates in a spacious chamber below. Upon dispatching it, backtrack and descend into the lower chamber to confront Viscous Fallout. Subsequently, traverse the western tunnel to engage Electrocutioner 6000, followed by a southward detour to confront Crowd Pummeler 9-60. Finally, retrace your steps to confront the ultimate adversary, Mekgineer Thermaplugg, in the chamber’s depths.

Gnomeregan Bosses Strategies
Let’s look at tactics and strategies that can help you defeat all the bosses in WoW Classic SoD Phase 2 raid.
| Boss | Description | Tank | DPS | Healer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Grubbis | At the bottom of Gnomeregan, adventurers will find Grubbis with his trusty pet Chomper. Even though he is small in size, Grubbis presents a big threat and needs to be executed with high precision by each member of the raid. | Keep the Grubbis and Chomper under your control, distracting their attention from other comrades. Use taunts tactically in order to control threats and maintain the situation. | Focus on getting rid of Chomper before focusing on Grubbis. Be careful not to fall into the zone of effect attacks that Grubbis can inflict, as you try and deal maximum damage. | Stay alert and keep your healing between the tank and DPS. The damage will spike, so be ready and try to stop Chomper’s attacks as quickly as possible. |
Viscous Fallout | Be ready to face a toxic battle with Viscous Fallout raid boss, the radioactive giant hiding in Gnomeregan’s corridors. The fact that this fearsome opponent constitutes a very real danger for ill-prepared adventurers. | Keep aggro on Viscous Fallout to prevent its damage from being spread randomly. Use damage mitigation abilities to reduce the effect of its poison attacks. | Concentrate on the consistent damage output that lasts while avoiding dangerous puddles left by Viscous Fallout. Work with your raid team to make the most out of safe windows in order to deal with as much damage as possible. | Be prepared to deal with unexpected spikes in damage due to Fallout’s area of effect attacks. Maintain the tank steady and quickly dispel any toxic effects in order to ensure the party’s survival. |
Electrocutioner 6000 | Get ready to confront the terrifying power of Electrocutioner 6000, a tough enemy in Gnomeregan. This heart-stopping encounter requires impeccable timing and lightning speed. | Place yourself in a position to negate the boss’s frontal cone attack, protecting your allies from its destructive powers. | First, focus on killing the Crowd Pummeler 9-60s that spawn during the fight to stop them from wiping out your group. | Heal through the immobilizing effects that Electrocutioner 6000 inflicts so the party can stay mobile and effective. |
Crowd Pummeler 9-60 | Get ready to face Crowd Pummeler 9-60 raid boss, a mechanical monster in the depths of Gnomeregan. | Take hits from Crowd Pummel and Arcing Smash, reducing the splash damage to party members by taking position. | Hit for damage while staying out of Crowd Pummel’s danger zone and being cautious against Arcing Smash. | Keep the party alive during Crowd Pummel’s AoE attacks, with the tank being a priority. |
Mechanical Menagerie | During this encounter you will have to fight 4 bosses. Chicken: STX-37/CN Squirrel: STX-25/NB Sheep: STX-13/LL Whelp: STX-04/BD | Undergeared tank avoids chicken. Use octagon path for movement. Swiftly move bosses from Widget Fortress to prevent damage loss. | Ensure to switch to the boss affected by Overheat for increased single-target damage whenever the whelp boss reaches the 75%, 50%, and 25% thresholds. | Healers stay central for range, adjust for Cluck!, prepare for Overheat, and use side buttons for mana if healing permits. |
Mekgineer Thermaplugg | Ready yourself for the final showdown with Mekgineer Thermaplugg raid boss, the mad architect of Gnomeregan’s destruction. | Control the Walking Bombs, and avoid their explosion in battle. | Help with bomb control as you destroy Thermaplugg to chip away at his defenses. | Maintain the party through bomb damage and Thermaplugg’s attacks, allowing survival in spite of hopeless odds. |
To successfully complete Gnomeregan raid, you also need to have SoD BiS Gear, with which our professional players are ready to help you.
Best DPS for Gnomeregan Raid
In order to get the best out of your raid run, you should consider having a Mage in your party. Their crowd control capabilities are extremely useful against the vast armies of humanoid mobs and deliver powerful AoE DPS. Furthermore, using an off-tank like a Paladin or Druid can help with managing big trash pulls so that the main tank does not get overwhelmed.

- Grants 42 spell damage and healing
- Increases melee attack, ranged attack, and movement speed by 20%
