4.9WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 Release Dates
WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 content will be released in two stages. The March 20, 2025 patch opens the PvE content and rewards, while the April 3, 2025 update focuses on PvP changes. Here are the key dates and features in Phase 3:

WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 Class Quests
WoW Classic Anniversary Phase 3 introduces new level 50 class quests for every class. Without a doubt, this is the best chance to experience a unique questline for your character. At level 50, you visit your class trainers in any of the capital cities (Stormwind or Orgrimmar) to begin a quest chain that takes you into the Temple of Atal’Hakkar (Sunken Temple) in the Swamp of Sorrows.
The class-specific quest chains are tough, but as a reward, you get a set of high-power valuable items specific to your class. For example, Hunters get a Devilsaur Eye trinket or Devilsaur Tooth trinket for their pet, and Mages can get an Arcane Crystal Pendant trinket or Fire Ruby trinket as a reward.

WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 PvP Updates
Phase 3 update brings major PvP changes in World of Warcraft Classic Anniversary. The most important of them are the removal of Honor Rank 11 and the introduction of the Arathi Basin battleground.
The Honor Rank 11 cap removal means that players can now progress past rank 11 to rank 14 and obtain the highest PvP titles and epic gear. Removing the cap brings back the competitive PvP scene. Hardcore players will be pushing for elite titles like High Warlord and Grand Marshal along with their powerful weapons and armor. In addition, the Arathi Basin battleground is opened, and Battleground Bonus Weekends are introduced. Each weekend players will be able to gain bonus Honor and reputation in a specific battleground. With increased Phase 3 rewards on the line, PvP combat is sure to intensify as players use the bonus Honor to rank up and gear up faster.
WoW Classic Fresh Arathi Basin Race
The Arathi Basin is the new 15 vs 15 battleground introduced in WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3, pitting Alliance and Horde teams in a furious race for resources. The goal is to capture and hold five strategic bases (Farm, Stables, Blacksmith, Lumber Mill, and Mine) scattered across the basin. It’s essentially a race to 2000 resources — whichever team reaches 2000 resources first wins the match.
WoW Classic Fresh Battleground Holidays
WoW Classic Anniversary Phase 3 also introduces Battleground Bonus Weekends (also called Battleground Holidays) to boost Honor gains. Every weekend, from Thursday night until early Tuesday, one battleground will be “featured” as the holiday battleground.
During that period of WoW Battleground Holidays, completing objectives in the featured BG (e.g. such as capturing flags in Warsong Gulch or bases in Arathi Basin) grants extra Honor points and faction reputation rewards. Don’t miss this opportunity — leave the grind for our pro players, and they will farm any amount of Honor Points for you during the Battleground Holidays.
✏️ Tip: Visit the battleground emissary NPC in your capital city at the start of the weekend — they offer a quest to achieve a specific objective in the featured BG for an additional Honor and reputation bonus reward.
WoW Classic Fresh Blackwing Lair Raid
The centerpiece of WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 is Blackwing Lair (BWL) — a 40-player raid instance that continues the classic endgame progression and offers valuable rewards.
- Raid Bosses: 8 (Razorgore, Vaelastrasz, Broodlord Lashlayer, Firemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor, Chromaggus, and Nefarian);
- Level: 60 (max-level endgame raid);
- Location: Blackwing Lair can be found at the very height of Blackrock Spire — enter the mountain from the Burning Steppes or Searing Gorge.
This raid is known for its long fights and tough bosses. Sometimes you will have to have multiple attempts before finally killing a boss. However, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t complete the Blackwing Lair Raid. Or, you don’t have to do it yourself — our team can complete the raid for you, or even get the Tier 2 set.
Blackwing Lair Raid Gear
Blackwing Lair provides a continuation of the Tier 2 armor set quest for all classes. In Phase 3, you will be able to get bracers, belts, boots, gloves, shoulders, and chest pieces from this raid. It means you will finally get a chance to complete your Tier 2 Raid sets. However, helmets and leggings remain on Onyxia and Ragnaros respectively).

Aside from Tier 2 sets, in Blackwing Lair, you can get truly powerful items, and even BiS options:

✏️ Tip: Completing Blackwing Lair Raid is obligatory if you want to get Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, as it grants Elementium Ore from the Blackwing Technician, required for Elementium Bar — essential reagent to craft the legendary weapon.
WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 Reputation Rewards
Phase 3 unlocks new reputation rewards for several factions and gives players additional motivation to grind reputation in both PvE and PvP content. Upon the WoW Classic Anniversary Phase 3 update, you can start earning rewards from the following factions:
- Argent Dawn (fighting the Scourge in Eastern Plaguelands);
- Timbermaw Hold (furbolgs of Felwood/Winterspring);
- Thorium Brotherhood (dwarves of Blackrock Depths);
- Silverwing Sentinels (Alliance faction for Warsong Gulch PvP);
- Warsong Outriders (Horde faction for Warsong Gulch PvP).
The rewards include mainly enchanting formulas, patterns, and plans, but some factions will also grant you armor, trinkets, and weapons for building relationships with them. Argent Dawn Rewards
In Phase 3 of WoW Classic Fresh, the Argent Dawn faction grants the following rewards:
- Formulas: Enchant Bracer – Mana Regeneration, Power Anti-Venom;
- Patterns: Argent Boots, Argent Shoulders, Dawn Treaders, Golden Mantle of the Dawn;
- Plans: Girdle of the Dawn, Gloves of the Dawn.
Timbermaw Hold Rewards
If you participate in Timbermaw Hold activities often enough, you will be granted the following Phase 3 rewards:
- Armor: Berserker Bracers, Caretaker’s Cape, Dryad’s Wrist Bindings, Forest Stalker’s Bracers;
- Trinkets, Rings, and Neck Pieces: Lorekeeper’s Ring, Protector’s Band.
Thorium Brotherhood Rewards
Thorium Brotherhood will reward players with the following rewards for their assistance in WoW Classic Anniversary Phase 3:
- Formulas: Enchant Weapon – Strength;
- Plans: Blackguard.

Silverwing Sentinels Rewards

Warsong Outriders offer the following reputation rewards to their bravest followers in Phase 3:
- Armor: Battle Healer’s Cloak, Berserker Bracers, Dryad’s Wrist Bindings, Forest Stalker’s Bracers;
- Trinkets, Rings, and Neck Pieces: Advisor’s Ring, Legionnaire’s Band, Scout’s Medallion;
- Weapons: Advisor’s Gnarled Staff, Legionnaire’s Sword, Outrider’s Bow, Scout’s Blade.
WoW Classic Fresh Phase 3 Darkmoon Faire
Finally, WoW Classic Anniversary Phase 3 marks the return of the Darkmoon Faire, Azeroth’s favorite traveling carnival of wonders. The Darkmoon Faire is a monthly event that alternates between two locations — just outside Goldshire in Elwynn Forest (for Alliance) and southwest of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore (for Horde).
During the Darkmoon Faire week, players can enjoy a wide array of fun mini-games, quests, and rewards. If you participate in games and complete Faire quests, then you have a chance to earn Darkmoon Prize Tickets. You can save up these tickets and exchange them for various prizes, ranging from quirky fun items to useful rewards, e.g.:
- Darkmoon Faire trinkets;
- Neck pieces;
- Darkmoon Cards.
Moreover, in Phase 3, the Darkmoon Decks become available. By collecting a full set of Darkmoon Cards, which drop from monsters or are crafted, you can turn them in at the Faire for epic trinkets:
- Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon;
- Darkmoon Card: Maelstrom;
- Darkmoon Card: Heroism;
- Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether.
