Enchanting Overview in WoW Classic
Enchanting is a primary profession in WoW Classic Fresh is quite unique in that it’s not bound to a dedicated crafting station. Enchanters can do their thing anyplace in Azeroth, provided they have whatever enchanting rods and materials are needed. Unlike all the other crafting professions out there, enchanters don’t make standalone items. In fact, enchanters improve something that already exists, thereby making this an ideal profession for players looking to seek optimal performance, whether because they want to enhance themselves with their own gear or become a valuable addition to group content.
To travel quickly and easily across the world of WoW Classic Fresh, you’ll need a Mount, which you can conveniently obtain from us. Our professional players will secure it for you while you focus on other things!
Best Professions to Pair with Enchanting
Tailoring is the best profession to pair with the Enchanting profession in WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition. Compared to all the other crafting professions, which require gathering nodes in the open world, enchanters only need a steady influx of magical dust, essences, and shards — components that drop directly from disenchanting gear.
Pairing Enchanting with WoW Classic Fresh Tailoring lets you have a constant supply of cloth armor to disenchant as tailoring doesn’t require any gathering profession to obtain materials. The crafted items can be immediately disenchanted, providing the exact components needed to level enchanting.
Alternatively, we can also pair enchanting with a gathering profession like Mining or Herbalism to make extra Gold. The gold that we get from these gathering professions can be used to buy disenchantable items or enchanting materials from the Auction House. This may not be as fast, but it is more expensive.
Best Classes to Learn Enchanting
Enchanting can be beneficial to any class in WoW Classic Fresh, though a few really stand out. Hybrid classes, such as Paladins and Druids, will most often pick up enchanting because of the flexibility it allows them. These are usually gear-dependent classes that profit quite a lot from being able to constantly gear themselves up. Enchanting also pairs well with the cloth-wearing classes like Mages, Priests, and Warlocks, since they often pick tailoring as a secondary profession. This synergy between tailoring and enchanting makes it somewhat natural for cloth classes to level up both professions at the same time.
This would be a great class to pick for serious players in enchanting to really push their limits in any dungeon or raid. A benefit of being able to enchant your gear is having more control over your character optimization, meaning it’s realistic for you to push the limits in either PvE or PvP.
WoW Classic Enchanting Leveling Requirements
Leveling from level 1 to 300 starts with gathering WoW Classic Fresh Enchanting Leveling materials. The main enchanting ingredients that we’ll need are grouped by leveling stages:
That makes us very careful with the Auction House and even sometimes have an extra toon just buying those cheap greens so our disenchanting never runs out of supply.
WoW Classic Enchanting Leveling
To level enchanting in WoW Classic Fresh, we first need to understand that the entire process is divided into three distinct phases, each having specific reagents. So, below, we’ll break down the most efficient path to reach level 300.
To quickly and easily reach your desired Enchanting skill level, you can take advantage of our services. While you’re busy with other things, your character will gain the needed experience with the help of our pro players!
Enchanting Leveling 1 – 135
First of all, let’s get down to the basics: disenchanting low-level items to get Strange Dust and Lesser Magic Essence. From levels 1 through 50, we spend our time enchanting bracers with Minor Health. This enchantment only costs a couple of Strange Dust per enchant.
From level 50 to 100, we move on to enchanting bracers with Minor Stamina, which also uses Strange Dust. By the time we hit level 100, we should have enough experience to move on to enchanting cloaks with Minor Protection using Lesser Magic Essence and Strange Dust until we reach level 135.
| Level | Recipe | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – 2 | 1 Runed Copper Rod | 1 Copper Rod 1 Strange Dust 1 Lesser Magic Essence |
| 2 – 50 | 48 Enchant Bracer – Minor Health | 48 Strange Dust |
| 50 – 90 | 40 Enchant Bracer – Minor Health | 40 Strange Dust |
| 90 – 100 | 10 Enchant Bracer – Minor Stamina | 30 Strange Dust |
| 100 – 101 | 1 Runed Silver Rod | 1 Silver Rod 6 Strange Dust 3 Greater Magic Essence 1 Shadowgem |
| 101 – 110 | 9 Greater Magic Wand | 9 Simple Wood 9 Greater Magic Essence |
| 110 – 135 | 25 Enchant Cloak – Minor Agility | 25 Lesser Astral Essence |
Enchanting Leveling 135 – 225
From levels 135 to 225 in WoW Classic, we progress to more costly enchants with higher skill-ups. Until level 175, which requires Soul Dust, Greater Stamina enchant on bracers will be the most suitable choice. At about this level, we most likely want to start working on getting some Vision Dust since it is going to be needed later on for certain enchants.
From level 175 to 225, enchanting items such as bracer with Strength using Vision Dust is the most efficient route. This phase of leveling requires a fair amount of materials, so it’s recommended to disenchant as much as possible or buy the necessary reagents from the Auction House.
| Level | Recipe | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| 135 – 155 | 20 Enchant Bracer – Lesser Stamina | 40 Soul Dust |
| 155 – 156 | 1 Runed Golden Rod | 1 Golden Rod 1 Iridescent Pearl 2 Greater Astral Essence 2 Soul Dust |
| 156 – 185 | 40 Enchant Bracer – Lesser Strength | 80 Soul Dust |
| 185 – 200 | 15 Enchant Bracer – Strength | 15 Vision Dust |
| 200 – 201 | 1 Runed Truesilver Rod | 1 Truesilver Rod 1 Black Pearl 2 Greater Mystic Essence 2 Vision Dust |
| 201 – 220 | 25 Enchant Bracer – Strength | 25 Vision Dust |
| 220 – 225 | 5 Enchant Cloak – Greater Defense | 15 Vision Dust |
Enchanting Leveling 225 – 300
The last stretch from 225 to 300 Enchanting in WoW Classic Fresh will have us using higher-level materials like Dream Dust, Illusion Dust, and Large Brilliant Shards. So, from 225 to 265, we are going to enchant boots with Greater Stamina using Dream Dust. Once we hit 265, we move on to enchanting bracers with Superior Stamina or cloaks with Greater Resistance to help us get to level 300.
| Level | Recipe | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| 225 – 230 | 5 Enchant Gloves – Agility | 5 Lesser Nether Essence 5 Vision Dust |
| 230 – 235 | 5 Enchant Boots – Stamina | 25 Vision Dust |
| 235 – 250 | 25 Enchant Chest – Superior Health | 150 Vision Dust |
| 250 – 265 | ~20 Lesser Mana Oil | 60 Dream Dust 40 Purple Lotus 20 Crystal Vial |
| 265 – 294 | 30 Enchant Shield – Greater Stamina | 300 Dream Dust |
| 294 – 295 | 1 Runed Arcanite Rod | 1 Arcanite Rod 1 Golden Pearl 10 Illusion Dust 4 Greater Eternal Essence 4 Small Brilliant Shard 2 Large Brilliant Shard |
| 295 – 300 | 5 Enchant Cloak – Superior Defense | 40 Illusion Dust |

How to Acquire Enchanting Materials
Enchanting materials in WoW Classic Fresh are primarily obtained by Disenchanting gear. Disenchanting breaks down unwanted items into dust, essence, or shards, depending on the quality and level of the item. We should prioritize disenchanting green and blue items, as these provide the bulk of the materials needed for leveling. Items of higher quality, such as rare (blue) or epic (purple), will yield better enchanting reagents, which are often necessary for high-level enchants.
With our service, you can obtain all the necessary resources to reach your desired profession level using our WoW Profession Kit.
How to Disenchant Gear
Disenchanting is breaking down items into their base components. This is our main source of materials for enchanting, and we should disenchant any useless gear that we come across. To disenchant an item, open the enchanting interface, click the disenchant button, and then click on the item you want to break down.
