Our WoW Classic First Aid guide will tell you about First Aid skills, quests, and bandages. We will share our knowledge about materials for First Aid leveling, leveling stages, trainers, recipes, and all the related quests. First Aid is an essential secondary profession in WoW Classic Fresh that can be a real game changer, especially for those used to more recent expansions of WoW. Unlike in Battle for Azeroth, where it was merged with Tailoring, First Aid stands alone in Classic, allowing everyone to make and use bandages.
WoW Classic First Aid Overview
In WoW Classic Fresh, you must have the First Aid skill to use bandages or powerful anti-venom, to heal your wounds and craft bandages. It’s not just about making them — using them requires specific skill levels too. Our First Aid leveling guide will help you improve your First Aid skill step by step.
You can apply bandages that exceed your current crafting skill level. For instance, a Heavy Runecloth Bandage needs First Aid (225) to use, but you’ll need First Aid (280) to make it. You cannot advance your First Aid skill beyond 225 until you reach level 35. However, anyone can get up to First Aid (225) with enough dedication, regardless of level, because learning it up to that point isn’t restricted.
WoW Classic 20th Anniversary First Aid is fantastic for reducing downtime. Instead of waiting around to regenerate health after combat, you can patch yourself up quickly between battles. Classes that have healing spells will also benefit as using bandages conserves mana. If you’re playing as a Hunter or Warlock, you can also use bandages on your pets and demons, keeping them in top shape without using valuable resources.
In groups, First Aid can be incredibly helpful for conserving the healer’s mana. Players can take care of their own wounds or help each other during lulls in the action. It’s also invaluable in PvP situations, where healing yourself mid-combat or quickly assisting a teammate can make a huge difference.

- Position yourself in the middle of the room for easy reach.
- Put the Triage Bandage on a hotkey.
