Season of Discovery Phase 6 Druid Runes

Druids in SoD Phase 6 will not receive any new runes. Instead, they’ll get a chance to buy any Rune that they wish from a Rune Broker in the starting zone of their race. The vendor sells Runes for 1 Copper only, so you’ll be able to buy as much as you want, even for your alts.

Druid Idols

A notable aspect of obtaining certain Druid Runes involves the utilization of Idols. Player obtain these Idols by killing mobs or finding them in given locations in the game world. Equipped in the Relic Slot, each Idol offers Druids a unique challenge that they have to overcome to gain the corresponding Rune.

As Druids progress through the challenges associated with their equipped Idol, they accrue stacks of buffs, typically represented by the Building Inspiration buff. Upon meeting the conditions for Rune acquisition and completing the challenge, these buffs transform into the Rune itself.

Druid Ring Runes

Druids have access to two SoD Druid Ring Runes, but can only equip one at a time. The Rune of Healing Specialization enhances healing spells. The Rune of Meditation Specialization boosts mana regeneration, so you can be sure that your Druid can maintain their spells in long fights.

You can obtain Druids’ Rune of Healing Specialization by interacting with the black book located in Faldir’s Cove, Arathi Highlands at /way 34.1, 80.5. To get there, enter the tunnel southeast of Stromgarde Keep at /way 21, 75. Only Druids who can use this rune will be able to see it, and while it’s bind-on-account, its visibility is limited to eligible characters.

Rune of Meditation Specialization Location

The Druid’s Rune of Meditation Specialization is found inside a small goblin house in the Shimmering Flats, Thousand Needles at /way 80, 77. Simply click the black tome inside to acquire the Rune of Meditation Specialization.

Druid Cloak Runes

Druid Cloak Runes in Season of Discovery provide Druids with enhanced versatility and power, focusing on augmenting combat abilities, shapeshifting into specialized forms for increased support and defensive capabilities, and summoning celestial phenomena to rain havoc upon enemies, ensuring Druids excel in both offensive and supportive roles on the battlefield.

Improved Swipe Rune

Improved Swipe enhance your performance in both Cat and Bear Form. When in Cat Form, your Swipe ability transforms into Swipe (Cat), allowing you to swipe at nearby enemies, dealing 250% weapon damage and generating 1 combo point on your current target. In Bear Form, your Swipe ability strikes up to three additional enemies.

Here are the steps to acquire the Idol of the Huntress, which is required to learn the Improved Swipe ability:

  1. This Idol is reportedly dropped by a Venomhide Ravasaur in Un’goro Crater.
  2. Defeat 5 sleeping targets while in Cat Form.
  3. After meeting the requirement, use the Idol of the Huntress to learn the new ability.

Tree of Life Rune

Tree of Life increases healing received by 10% for all party members within 45 yards. Your Wild Growth healing is boosted by 60%, and your heal-over-time spells cost 20% less mana. Additionally, you gain 25% increased Spirit and 200% increased armor, but you cannot cast harmful spells. Shapeshifting also frees you from Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.

Tree of Life Rune Location

Follow these steps to find the Rune of the World Tree, which is essential for learning Tree of Life.

  1. Navigate to the Northern Felwood.
  2. Find and speak to the Vengeful Wisp at coordinates /way 46, 19.
  3. The Wisp will start following you once you talk to it.
  4. Proceed to the center of the area until you receive the Shimmering Light buff. You may need to eliminate any satyrs that appear.
  5. Once you have the buff, talk to the wisp once more. It will drop the Gift of the Wisp on the ground.
  6. Collect your rune from the Gift of the Wisp.

Starfall Rune

Starfall summons a flurry of stars from the sky for 10 seconds. These stars strike targets within 30 yards, each dealing 68.612 to 80.544 Arcane damage to its target and 11.932 Arcane damage to all other enemies within 5 yards. The maximum number of stars is 20. Shapeshifting or mounting cancels the effect, and any effect causing you to lose control of your character will suppress the Starfall effect. This ability benefits from and triggers most talents and effects associated with Moonfire.

Defeat Arcterris, an elite Owlbear located in the Hidden Grove north of Everlook in Winterspring, at coordinates /way 63 18. Collect the Rune of the Falling Star from its loot and you is to learn Starfall.

Druid Bracer Runes

Season of Discovery Druid Bracer Runes offer versatile enhancements to Druid abilities, focusing on augmenting healing capabilities, extending spell durations, and converting resources into health, ensuring Druids excel in supporting their allies across varied combat scenarios.

Efflorescence Rune

Efflorescence gives the ability to channel Swiftmend’s Energy into healing. When Swiftmend is cast, Efflorescence springs forth, nurturing all party members within 15 yards of the Swiftmend target’s location. They are healed for 78.198 Health every 1 second for 15 seconds.

Feralas:

  1. Travel to Feralas and locate Tyrisius within a tower at coordinates (57, 68).
  2. Accept the quest Wisdom of the Guardians from Tyrisius.
  3. Prove yourself to the guardian spirits of Feralas, Azshara, and the Hinterlands.

Guardian of Feralas:

  1. Locate the Shrine of Feralas and activate it to gain the Duty of the Warden buff.
  2. Find a Gordunni Warlock south of the Shrine (61.8, 55.6). They will cast Shrink on you. Remove the Shrink effect to gain the Decurse buff.
  3. Travel east towards the Writhing Deep (75, 62). Get Poison by a Zukk’ash Wasp and then dispel the Зoison, acquiring the Mark of the Warden buff.
  4. Return to the Shrine of Feralas and defeat Blightbark, the Guardian of Feralas (Level 50 elite).

Guardian of Azshara:

  1. Locate the Shrine of the Beast in Azshara.
  2. Find and defeat the white stag Child of Apa’ro (43, 30). He drops the Sacred Stag Heart.
    Note: This enemy is immune to spells.
  3. Offer the Sacred Stag Heart at the Shrine of the Beast, summoning the Hippogryph Avatar.
  4. The Avatar will transform into Whisperwing, the Guardian of Azshara, who will speak to you.

Guardian of the Hinterlands:

  1. Travel to the Hinterlands and locate the Shrine of the Moon atop a hill.
  2. Interact with the Shrine. The message “The calm comes before the storm” appears.
  3. Cast Tranquility followed by Hurricane to summon Sagefeather, the Guardian of the Hinterlands.
  4. Defeat Sagefeather.

Return to Tyrisius:

  1. Travel back to Tyrisius at coordinates (57.2, 69.0) in Feralas.
  2. Completing the Wisdom of the Guardians quest grants you the Efflorescence Rune and the Seed of Renewal trinket.

Elune’s Fires Rune

Elune’s Fires elongates the duration of your damage and healing over time effects on their target. Starfire extends Moonfire, Wrath extends Sunfire, Regrowth extends Rejuvenation, and Shred extends Rip. Each extension can occur up to three times.

  2. Loot the Traveller’s Knapsack for Keldara’s Log and a Mortar and Pestle.
  3. Read the Log and gather 3 Satyrweed Samples nearby.
  4. Use the Mortar and Pestle to create Satyrweed Tincture.
  5. Locate a corrupted green Hippogryph and put it to sleep with Hibernate.
  6. Use the Tincture to dispel its Satyr Corruption, earning the Rune of the Moon Goddess.

Improved Frenzied Regeneration Rune

Improved Frenzied Regeneration, usable in all forms or while unshapeshifted, converts your active resource into Health over 10 seconds. Up to 10 Rage, 10 Energy, or 5% base Mana is converted per second into up to 10% Health.

Speak with Shadowtooth Emissary in Felwood (51.5, 82) and accept the solo quest The Wild Gods.

Gather Wildwhisper Draught:

  1. Travel to Jintha’Alor in the Hinterlands (group optional).
  2. Defeat elite trolls until you acquire Wildwhisper Draught.

Summon the Spirit of Agamaggan:

  1. Head to Razorfen Downs.
  2. Clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer.
  3. One player drinks the Wildwhisper Draught, summoning the Spirit of Agamaggan.
  4. Speak to the Spirit to receive a quest and Agamaggan’s Roar.

Collect Wild Offerings (Solo):

Important: You only need to complete these steps once per dungeon, regardless of farming multiple offerings.

Return and Claim Your Reward:

Travel back to the Shadowtooth Emissary in Felwood and turn in the quest. You’ll receive the Rune of Primal Energy.

Druid Helm Runes

Gale Winds Rune

Gale Winds elevates your Hurricane ability to new heights. When activated, your Helm becomes infused with the power to enhance Hurricane’s potency. It increases the damage done by Hurricane by 100%, removes its cooldown, and reduces its Mana cost by 20%, allowing you to unleash its tempestuous fury with unmatched ferocity.

Gale Winds Rune Location

Follow the concealed path up the hills within the Grimtotem Compound in Feralas, starting at coordinates (66, 33). Ascend the path (66.8, 38.6.) to a hut where Namida Grimtotem, a level 43 elite Tauren, resides. Defeat her to claim the Rune of the Windstorm.

Gore Rune

Gore imbues your Helm with enhanced abilities. Striking a target with Lacerate, Swipe, or Maul grants a 15% chance to reset the cooldown on Mangle (Bear) and provides 10 Rage. Additionally, when you strike a target with Mangle (Cat) or Shred, there’s a 5% chance to reset the cooldown on Tiger’s Fury.

Gore Rune Location

Once you’ve reached Friendly reputation with Emerald Wardens, visit an Emerald Warden Quartermaster and purchase the Rune of Bloodshed for 1 gold and 60 silver.

Improved Barkskin Rune

Improved Barkskin gives the opportunity to cast Barkskin on allies, removing the penalty to melee combat speed or spellcasting time. Furthermore, you can cast Barkskin while shapeshifted, offering greater versatility and protection to you and your patry members.

  1. Go to Thistleshrub Valley in southwest Tanaris around (31, 65).
  2. Defeat Thistleshrub Dew Collectors and Thistleshrub Rootshapers until they drop the Idol of the Raging Shambler.
  3. Right-click the Idol to equip it.
    Note: You must have at least level 44.
  4. While under Barkskin‘s effect, use Nature damage to kill 5 enemies.
  5. Re-use the Idol to learn the Improved Barkskin.

Druid Belt Runes

Druid Belt Runes in World of Warcraft Season of Discovery empower Druids with offensive prowess and resource management enhancements, enabling them to unleash devastating attacks across multiple targets, amplify celestial energies for increased spell potency, and provide versatile healing support to allies.

Berserk Rune

Berserk gives you some Mangle (Bear) ability which is able to hit up to 3 targets without cooldown. On top of that, it will significantly decrease the Energy cost of all your Cat Form abilities by 50% for 15 seconds. For activating, you will need to be in Bear Form, Cat Form, or Dire Bear Form.

Berserk Rune Location
  1. Travel to coordinates (69, 55) in Thousand Needles, close to the northwest edge of Shimmering Flats. As you approach, you will get Beastly Effigy that will grant you a special buff when you’re near it.
  2. The Zai’enki elite can be summoned by the Challenging Roar on the Beastly Effigy, a powerful level 28 opponent. The victory over Zai’enki will help you to loot the prized Idol of the Heckler.
  3. Empower the Idol of the Heckler and use the Challenging Roar to taunt several enemies at a time. Send one opponent while they are taunted. Once the five enemies are killed in this way, press right click to learn the Berserk Runes from the Idol of the Heckler.

Eclipse Rune

Eclipse imbues wearers with celestial Energy, enhancing the potency of Starfire and Wrath spells. Starfire augments the critical strike chance of subsequent Wraths, while Wrath reciprocates the effect for Starfire. These effects stack, offering up to 4 charges, and grant a 70% chance to maintain casting time when under attack.

  1. Firstly get the quest Highway Robbery from Desolace. It is situated at the Extinguished Campfire, the northwest of the Kodo Graveyard, and approximately located at (47, 54).
  2. Go to the (63, 39) of Kormek’s Hut in Desolace. Turn Highway Robbery to Bibbly F’utzbuckle and get the quest On the Lam.
  3. Go to the inn at Booty Bay and hand in On the Lam to Tokal. Pick up Cherry Grog from Nixxrax Fillamug nearby, and then move to the next part of the quest, No Honor Among Thieves.
  4. Rowboat is located under the bridge, which connects Arathi Highlands and the Wetlands, near (53, 91). Talk to the Rowboat to teleport to the eastern shore, which is approximately in the (93, 71) coordinates.
  5. Engage Illari Duskfeather in combat and obtain Illari’s Key. Illari’s Loot Cache can be opened with this key to receive the prized Jewel-Encrusted Box that holds the Rune.

Nourish Rune

Nourish heals a friendly target and further grows its strength if other healing effects are active on the target. Nourish, which is the heals-all spell, is a versatile healing spell that heals and triggers all associated effects with Healing Touch.

Dreamstate Rune

Dreamstate is the Rune that is responsible for regeneration of Mana each time you land a critical strike on your damaging spell. When you hit your critical strike, you will regenerate your Mana at 50% and cast for 8 seconds. Lastly, this skill adds an extra 20% to the nature damage done to the target for a duration of 12 seconds.

  1. Defeat Kolkar Centaurs in eastern Desolace near (73, 49) and get the Desiccated Seed Pod.
  2. Continue southward to the pond at (70, 70). Swim in the pond until the pod blossoms into the Satyrweed Bulb.
  3. Head to Sargeron (northeastern corner) and plant the seed in Sandy Loam which is about (75, 20). This will result in you getting the Rune of the Dreamer as a reward, needed to learn Dreamstate.

Survival Instincts Rune

Survival Instincts gives you 30% of your maximum Health for 20 seconds when you activate it. This is the state of Health when the effect wears off. Furthermore, you replenish resources as you dodge, according to your current form (Rage in Bear Form, Energy in Cat Form and Mana in other forms).

  1. Meet with Amaryllis Webb at (25.0, 54.2) and collect the Entomology Starter Kit.
  2. Go to the nearby Lake Nazferiti logging camp and hunt down an Arbor Tarantula to get an Arbor Tarantula Specimen.
  3. Explore Northfold Manor and kill a Hay Weevil from any of the barns or stables to have a Hay Weevil Specimen.
  4. Destination to the Kodo Graveyard and kill a Flesh Picker within the bone graveyard to collect a Flesh Picker Specimen.
  5. Back to Amaryllis Webb in Swamp of Sorrows to claim Rune of Instinct for your job. Use it to learn Survival Instincts.

King of the Jungle Rune

King of the Jungle alters the mechanics of Tiger’s Fury. Instead of a flat increase, it amplifies all physical damage output by 15%, while instantly restoring 60 Energy. Though no longer subject to the global cooldown, it now operates on its own 30-second cooldown cycle.

  • Tauren: At level 4, loot the Chest in Brambleblade Ravine (61, 76) for the Lunar Idol. Engage 6 creatures marked by your Moonfire, then use the Lunar Idol once more to unlock the Fury of Stormrage ability.
  • Night Elf: Also at level 4, accept the quest from the Druid trainer and eliminate Grell in the starting area. Secure a Lunar Idol drop, equip it in the relic slot, and, following its instructions, achieve the transformation into the formidable Fury of Stormrage.
