Boost Slot
The first wing of Molten Core clears you to get Boost Slots. They are highly beneficial for your Minis. They boost Mini’s experience point gain up to level 20, the highest level that can be attained through XP.
But that’s not all! On top of the base level boost, Minis can gain additional levels through other means:
- Spend skill points to improve your Mini’s capabilities, which can be increased to 3 additional levels.
- As a general rule, Rare Minis are stronger than the more common ones. Increasing a Mini’s rarity can boost its level by up to 4.
- When placing a Mini in the position designated for Gold Army for its role, it gets a bonus of up to 3 levels.
Diamond Slots also increase the level of power. In Diamond Slots, the maximum level that a Mini can be increased by 4 more, making it an incredible 31!

These Pages offer you a decision between two Minis from your collection that are of a particular type (Family or Leader). You can also quickly level up your Minis with our Troops Leveling.
Mythic Tomes are a special kind of Tomes that grant a player a large amount of experience points. They consist of 11 Pages, which are intended to provide a balanced improvement for your Minis. Here’s how these Pages are filled:
- Two Pages are dedicated to each of the following Families: Alliance, Horde, Undead, Blackrock, and Beast. The Minis provided on these Pages would be from one Family.
- One Page concentrates on Leaders. You will be able to pick your Leader from your collection.
Important Note: The specific Minis available on each Page will be determined by the game’s logic.
Legendary Core
Finishing the third wing of Molten Core grants you a Legendary Core. It is a special and very limited resource that is used to enhance Mini to legendary level. This legendary status adds an extra level to a Mini and opens all the talent slots, which makes it considerably more powerful.

- Son of Flame: When health reaches 50%, a Fire Elemental is summoned for 15 seconds.
Warcraft Rumble All Molten Core Bosses
There are a total of 8 bosses in the Warcraft Rumble Molten Core raid, each of which has its own unique mechanics. Let’s take a closer look at each boss and strategies for defeating them.
Lucifron
The first boss in Molten Core is Lucifron, a Flamewaker, who has the assistance of two Dominator Lieutenants. The key mechanics to be aware of include:
- Mind Control: The Dominator Lieutenants will dominate any Minis that are within their range by using Mind Control. This mechanic will trigger on the first Mini that comes into range and then switch to the second one when the first Mini dies.
- Phase Changes: Lucifron has Phases where he changes the light around himself to purple and then has a splash that kills all Minis around him.
- Fire Elementals: Prepare to face a lot of Fire Elementals during the fight.
Here is the strategy for how to kill Lucifron in Warcraft Rumble Molten Core:
- Sacrifice Durable Minis: Use durable Minis to absorb the Mind Control effect without dying fast. This means that one Mini should remain mind-controlled while you attend to other mechanics.
- Positioning: Put Minis that cannot be moved into the area where the Lieutenants can affect them with Mind Control. This makes it possible to manipulate the movement and coordinate the Lieutenants in the most efficient manner.
- Avoid Splash Damage: When it comes to Phase changes, it is best to move your Minis away from the purple light to avoid the splash damage that kills units.
- Root and Control: It is a good idea to use abilities that can root or control the Fire Elementals. This will help to avoid a situation where they put a lot of pressure on your team.
- Unbound Mind Control Effects: Consider using abilities like Ritual of Rime with a Skeleton Party to control the battlefield better.
- Focus on Lieutenants: Always prioritize killing the Dominator Lieutenants first to reduce the Mind Control threat before focusing on Lucifron.
Magmadar
Magmadar is a Core Hound that is accompanied by three Ancient Core Hounds. Key mechanics to understand include:
- Resurrection Mechanic: The three Ancient Core Hounds will resurrect one another unless killed in close succession.
- Cone Elemental Attack: Magmadar has an elemental attack in the form of a cone that hits everything in front of it and causes a lot of damage.
Strategy for how to defeat Magmadar in Warcraft Rumble raid is the following:
- Simultaneous Kill: Make sure that you have enough damage to kill all three Ancient Core Hounds simultaneously to prevent them from using their abilities to resurrect each other. This may need to be done in coordination and at the right time.
- Death Ball Approach: Suggest creating a “death ball,” a group of units that can focus on the Hounds and deliver a large amount of damage in a short time.
- Positioning: Make sure that your units are not clumped together so that the cone-shaped attack does not affect you greatly. Make sure your main damage dealers are not in the attack.
- AoE Damage: Try to use area-of-effect damage to attack several Hounds at a time so that they will fall simultaneously.
- Leader Synergy: Stack Leaders that can give AoE stuns, damage, and boosts to Execute for a balanced strategy.
Garr
Garr is a special case with a map that includes six towers. Whenever Garr takes control of a tower, Elementals will appear and attack your team. Your objective is to stop Garr from taking the towers and to capture them for yourself. Let’s take a closer look at how to defeat Garr in Warcraft Rumble raid:
- Tower Defense: Station units to guard critical towers so that Garr cannot take over without much trouble.
- Tower Offense: Use siege units or powerful Leaders to take towers. This strategy ensures you enjoy the benefits while minimizing the risks of losing control.
- Communication: Discuss with your team to decide which towers to defend and which towers to attack at the moment.
- Resource Management: Manage resources efficiently, focus on tower upgrades and unit positioning as well as combat strategies.
- Adaptability: It is also important to be flexible and change your tactics depending on the course of the fight and other factors.
Shazzrah & Gehennas
Shazzrah and Gehennas are two bosses; Shazzrah blocks spells from players and Gehennas wanders at the top of the map and spawns Flamewaker Elites on both sides. Key points to consider include:
- Positioning: Shazzrah is slightly ahead of Gehennas and this means that players can aim at killing Shazzrah before they deal with Gehennas.
- Shazzrah: So long as Shazzrah is alive, he will dispel any spells that players cast. Hence, it is advisable to avoid taking any spell-casting units into the battle. Concentrate on the physical damage dealers to deal with him properly.
- Gehennas: Gehennas begins at the top, and then it spreads throughout the rest of the game. Whenever Gehennas reaches a side, he will spawn a Flamewaker Elite. These Elites will start a ritual and when the ritual is over, a flame blast wave will come from that side, killing your Minis and your towers. The Elites are quite weak and can be destroyed easily with a Safe Pilot or any other unit of the same class.
- Shazzrah’s Movement: Shazzrah is located in the mid-section of the level at the beginning of the game. Once his health is reduced to about two-thirds, he will teleport to the top and remain there. This is the chance to take the side towers and then the middle tower.
Here’s a tactic on how to kill Shazzrah and Gehennas in Warcraft Rumble:
- Focus on Shazzrah: Since Shazzrah counters spells, it is wise to initially aim at killing Shazzrah before focusing on the other targets. This may enable you to use spells without restraint against Gehennas.
- Flamewaker Elites: Give both players a S.A.F.E. Pilot to allow them to counter these Elites should they show up. They are not very dangerous even for a low-level S.A.F.E. Pilot if used in the right way.
- Fire Elemental and Resistant Tank: This fight is very elemental damage-based. Using fire elemental units or tanks that are immune to elemental damage, like a Shaman, is the best approach. These units can still effectively execute this role, even if they are underleveled.
- Middle Tower Control: After Shazzrah goes up to the top, you should take over the middle tower. This makes sure that your team gets full access to gold while at the same time making sure that the enemy cannot get their hands on it.
Baron Geddon
Baron Geddon is a difficult fight in Molten Core because of the mechanics of his map. It introduces several key mechanics:
- Lava Floor: The floor is lava, and it becomes dangerous to move on the ground.
- Dragon Towers: The towers on the map are Dragon Towers.
- Gold Node Accessibility: It is challenging to access gold nodes because of the structure of the map.
Let’s look at the strategy on how to kill Baron Geddon in Molten Core:
- Use Flyers: As the floor is lava, bring flyers to navigate the map safely. The flyers will help you in moving around while avoiding any obstacles on the ground.
- Unbound Units: It might be effective to use Unbound units that are not affected by the lava, which makes positioning and movement easier.
- Avoid Ground Units: Ground units are weak against the Dragon Towers so avoid using them.
- Darkkey Miner: As gold nodes are difficult to reach, bring a Darkkey Miner to increase resource mining speed.
- Resource Management: Make sure that resource management is part of your strategy as this is important in supporting your units throughout the encounter.
- Strategic Positioning: Place your units, especially your flyers, to maximize their effectiveness while keeping them safe from danger.
Golemagg
Golemagg is one of the bosses in Molten Core. Key points to be aware of include:
- Incineration Runes: In front of the towers there are Incineration Runes that activate burning effect around the tower.
- Core Ragers: Golemagg has two Core Ragers which are immune to death till Golemagg dies.
- Composition Warning: Your team composition is important because the wrong setup will have everything burned down by the Incineration Runes.
Here’s how to kill Golemagg in Warcraft Rumble Molten Core raid:
- Positioning: Make sure that you pay a lot of attention to how you place your units around the Incineration Runes. Do not stand on the Runes unless it is necessary for a mechanic or purpose.
- Balanced Team: Take a balanced team that has single-target damage dealers and units with crowd control capabilities.
- Focus on Golemagg: Since the Core Ragers cannot be killed until Golemagg is down, focus on killing Golemagg first. This will require high single-target damage output.
- Crowd Control: Use the crowd control capabilities to manage the Core Ragers in order to concentrate on attacking Golemagg.
Ragnaros
The Ragnaros fight is a four-phase encounter with Majordomo Executus playing a crucial role. Its complex mechanics may seem daunting to you, but our Coaching will help you understand it in more detail and defeat the final boss.
- Phase 1: Defeat Majordomo Executus who will then summon Ragnaros.
- Phase 2: Ragnaros appears, and can use a number of skills like Blast Wave (pushes Minis away), Meteors (deals high damage to targeted areas), and Lava Waves (continuous damage over a wide area).
- Phase 3: Ragnaros goes into the water and spawns Sons of Flame.
- Phase 4: Ragnaros appears again with Immolation Aura active and continues to use his skills.
Strategy how to kill Ragnaros in Warcraft Rumble:
- Phase 1: Concentrate all the attacks on Majordomo to defeat him quickly. Prepare for Ragnaros to appear immediately after.
- Phase 2: Try to distribute your Minis so that they are not all in one area as this will reduce the impact of AoE attacks. Move and turn to avoid Meteors and Lava Waves.
- Phase 3: Deal with the Sons of Flame swiftly. Use AoE damage to handle the adds while preparing for Ragnaros to come back out.
- Phase 4: Concentrate on increasing resistance to elemental damages. Bait and spread out while avoiding any AoE abilities. If any adds are summoned continue to manage them.

- Save the Best for Last: Do not use your best Leaders when fighting the initial bosses; instead, save them for the final bosses.
- Use Weaker Leaders First: Use your weaker Leaders against the initial bosses to conserve your strong ones for the subsequent phases.
