MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar Rewards
Mists of Pandaria Classic SoO loot includes Tier 16 raid gear and some of the best items in the expansion. The raid includes LFR, Flexible, Normal, and Heroic modes, and each version gives the same loot but with higher item levels as difficulty increases. Players also farm this raid for tier tokens, weapons, trinkets, mounts, and rare cosmetics like Tusks of Mannoroth and the Kor’kron Juggernaut.
Here are the MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar item levels and rewards by difficulty:
| Difficulty | Item Level |
|---|---|
| LFR | 528 |
| Flexible | 540 |
| Normal | 553 |
| Heroic | 566 |
Higher difficulties also increase the chance for Warforged upgrades and stronger versions of key raid drops, especially from bosses like Garrosh Hellscream, who provides the highest-value items in the raid.
Outside of gear, MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar is popular for long-term farming because of its collectible rewards, including the Kor’kron Juggernaut mount and Tusks of Mannoroth cosmetic shoulders.
MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar Tier Sets
Mists of Pandaria Classic SoO tier sets are part of Tier 16 and are one of the main reasons to run the raid each week. These sets are designed for every class specialization and provide strong 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses that directly improve your damage, healing, or survivability. Tier pieces drop from specific bosses in Siege of Orgrimmar and can also be obtained through tier tokens that are exchanged in faction capital cities.
| Token | Boss in Siege of Orgrimmar |
|---|---|
| Helm | Thok the Bloodthirsty |
| Shoulders | Siegecrafter Blackfuse |
| Chest | Sha of Pride |
| Legs | Paragons of the Klaxxi |
| Gloves | General Nazgrim |
| Essence (Any Slot) | Garrosh Hellscream |
In WoW MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar, Tier 16 gear is mainly obtained through boss-specific armor tokens, which means that you will have to farm the whole raid to obtain them. Alternatively, our team of professional players can farm the raid for you until you get all Tier 16 Set pieces without the grind!
Each boss drops a fixed token slot, and players turn these tokens in at faction vendors in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms to receive their class tier set piece.
The final boss also provides a flexible “essence” token that can be exchanged for any slot, making it the most valuable tier reward in the raid.
MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar Mounts
Mists of Pandaria Classic Siege of Orgrimmar mounts are some of the most sought-after ones in the game. They are mainly tied to rare boss drops and full raid clears. These mounts are primarily farmed from Garrosh Hellscream and select achievement rewards, making them long-term goals for collectors and transmog runners. The raid is especially known for its high-value cosmetic drops, which continue to be popular well beyond progression.
The main mount rewards from Siege of Orgrimmar in MoP Classic are:
| Mount | Source |
|---|---|
| Kor’kron Juggernaut | Garrosh Hellscream |
| Kor’kron War Wolf | Ahead of the Curve: Garrosh Hellscream achievement |

- Kor’kron Dark Shaman;
- General Nazgrim;
- Malkorok;

- Garrosh Hellscream.
Below, we have also prepared a general breakdown and strategy for each boss in Siege of Orgrimmar in Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Immerseus
Immerseus is the first boss in MoP Classic SoO. There is a constant back-and-forth between two repeating phases. One of them involves fighting Immerseus as one entity, while the other entails having to handle multiple puddles as he splits into several bodies. It is important to note that defeating him requires making his Corruption meter go down to zero, not merely defeating him.
Immerseus Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Tank swap on Corrosive Blast and face the boss away from the raid.
- Spread out to reduce damage from Sha Bolt and move out of the puddles it leaves.
- Dodge Swirl on the ground and avoid Seeping Sha waves during its channel.
- Bring Immerseus to 0% to trigger the Split phase.
- In the Split phase, DPS kill Sha Puddles before they reach the center.
- Healers heal Contaminated Puddles before they reach the center.
- Use grips, stuns, roots, and knockbacks to slow puddles.
- Repeat the cycle until all Corruption is removed and the boss dies.
The Fallen Protectors
The Fallen Protectors is a council fight in Siege of Orgrimmar in Mists of Pandaria Classic. You will have to fight against three bosses simultaneously. These include Rook Stonetoe, He Softfoot, and Sun Tenderheart. They have the same health bar; however, when they reach 66% and 33%, respectively, they gain new powers, including spawning extra adds.
The Fallen Protectors Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Fight all three bosses at the same time and keep their health close.
- At 66% and 33%, each boss triggers a special phase with adds that must be killed first.
- Do not kill any boss early, or the remaining bosses heal back 20%.
- Start by pushing one boss to 66%, handle the add phase, then repeat for the next boss.
- Repeat the same approach at 33%, one boss at a time.
- At the final 33%, bring all three down evenly to finish the fight.
- Rook Stonetoe spawns adds like Embodied Misery, Embodied Sorrow, and Embodied Gloom that must be killed before he returns.
- Sun Tenderheart enters Dark Meditation, dealing raid-wide damage reduced inside her Meditative Field, and spawns Embodied Despair and Embodied Desperation.
- He Softfoot applies Mark of Anguish, which damages and roots a player and must be passed to others; he also spawns Embodied Anguish that fixes on the marked player.
- Healers dispel Shadow Word: Bane quickly.
- DPS should stop damage at the right points to keep all three bosses balanced.
Norushen
Norushen is the third boss in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid in Mists of Pandaria Classic. The fight is built around corruption management. At the start, every player is affected by Corruption, which reduces damage and healing. To remove it, players must enter special trials, complete role-based challenges, and return purified to help kill the main boss, the Amalgam of Corruption. The fight is mainly about balancing these roles and controlling who goes into tests and when.
Norushen Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Kill the Amalgam of Corruption while managing your own Corruption level.
- Use light orbs around the room to enter role-based trials and reduce Corruption.
- Plan who enters trials and in what order to avoid overlap between roles.
- Push the boss while keeping adds and corruption under control.
- Use Bloodlust later in the fight when most players are purified and deal full damage.
- Healers complete Test of Reliance: heal allies, avoid void zones, and dispel Lingering Corruption quickly.
- Tanks complete Test of Confidence: survive Titanic Corruption, avoid Titanic Smash, and interrupt Hurl Corruption.
- DPS complete Test of Serenity: kill Elements of Corruption and avoid deflect by positioning correctly.
- Keep adds controlled so they do not overwhelm the raid.
- Return from trials quickly to maintain pressure on the boss.
Sha of Pride
Sha of Pride is a boss fight found in MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar and involves managing a unique resource known as Pride. This resource accumulates on the entire raid team throughout the entire fight and needs to be controlled.
Sha of Pride Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Try not to get hit by avoidable damage, as it increases your Pride stacks.
- If Pride stacks hit 100, the players affected by them will become mind-controlled.
- At 30% boss health, Sha of Pride will enter the final phase and reset all Pride stacks.
- After 30%, Sha will start dealing raid-wide damage every 10 seconds.
- Use Bloodlust in the final phase to finish the fight.
- Stay spread to avoid getting hit by Void of Corruption explosions.
- When Power of the Titans appears, group up for a damage increase.
Galakras
Galakras is the fifth encounter in SoO MoP Classic Raid. The Galakras encounter consists of two parts. In the first part, the encounter consists of defending two towers against the waves of enemies and sending some players to clear each of the two towers. Once both towers are cleared, the encounter starts in the usual manner, like all other encounters.
Galakras Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Phase 1: Defend the area from waves of enemies and clear mini-bosses.
- Focus down Dragonmaw Tidal Shamans and their Healing Tide Totems.
- Send small groups into towers to clear them and use turrets to knock down proto-drakes.
- Once both towers are clear, shoot Galakras down to start Phase 2.
- Tanks should swap during Pulsing Flames.
- Spread out to reduce damage from Flames of Galakrond.
Iron Juggernaut
Iron Juggernaut is the sixth Siege of Orgrimmar boss in MoP Classic. The fight alternates between two repeating phases: Assault and Siege. During Assault, you will deal with mines and tank damage. In Siege, raid-wide damage increases and positioning becomes more important.
Iron Juggernaut Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Assault: Deal with Crawler Mines before they detonate.
- Swap tanks after Flame Vents.
- Keep the boss faced away from the raid during Flame Vents.
- Watch Ignite Armor stacks and avoid letting them build too high.
- Siege: Expect a high raid damage.
- Stand with your back to the wall.
- Move out of Explosive Tar and prevent it from touching the laser.
Kor’kron Dark Shaman
Kor’kron Dark Shaman is the seventh boss in MoP Classic SoO. You fight two bosses at the same time: Earthbreaker Haromm and Wavebinder Kardris. They both share health with each other. The fight becomes harder over time because they gain new abilities at lower health.
Kor’kron Dark Shaman Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Start by killing the two wolves, then focus on both bosses together.
- Tank swap on Froststorm Strike.
- At 85%, avoid Toxic Tornadoes and spread out for Toxic Mist.
- At 25%, the bosses gain Bloodlust. Use your cooldowns here.
- Kill Slimes quickly when they spawn.
- Healers should plan cooldowns for Falling Ash.
- DPS should switch to Slimes immediately when they appear.
General Nazgrim
General Nazgrim in MoP Classic SoO is a one-phase boss fight. The main mechanic of the fight is the Rage bar that changes depending on the abilities Nazgrim uses. He also switches warrior stances and regularly spawns adds.
General Nazgrim Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Tank swap around 3–4 stacks of Sundering Blow.
- Keep Nazgrim’s Rage low to avoid dangerous abilities.
- Kill Kor’kron Banner quickly when it spawns.
- Interrupt and focus on Kor’kron Warshaman first, then Arcweavers.
- Kill adds fast and use stuns and interrupts.
- During Berserker Stance, focus damage on Nazgrim.
- During Defensive Stance, stop attacking Nazgrim and switch to adds.
- Spread out for War Song.
- Do not push Nazgrim too low during Defensive Stance.
- Use Bloodlust during the final 10% of his HP.
Malkorok
Malkorok boss fight in MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar has two repeating phases. In the main phase, you need to spread out and avoid large cone attacks and ground hazards. In the Blood Rage phase, everyone needs to stack to share damage.
Malkorok Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Phase 1: Spread out and avoid Arcing Smash cone damage.
- Phase 2 (Blood Rage): Stack on the tank and share damage.
- Soak each Imploding Energy.
- Tanks should face Arcing Smash away from the raid.
Spoils of Pandaria
Spoils of Pandaria is the tenth boss in Siege of Orgrimmar in Mists of Pandaria Classic. The fight is split into two sides. Each side clears rooms filled with crates that spawn different types of enemies. The goal is to gain Energy by killing adds, reach 50 Energy, and activate a lever to move forward. Each group repeats this in two rooms, and both must finish before the timer runs out.
Spoils of Pandaria Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Split the raid into two groups with tanks, healers, and DPS.
- Clear crates to spawn enemies and gain Energy from kills.
- Reach 50 Energy to activate the lever and move to the next room.
- Complete both rooms before the 4.5-minute timer expires.
- Start by opening Pandaren Relic crates.
- Kill dangerous Burial Urns and Ritualists first.
Thok the Bloodthirsty
Thok the Bloodthirsty is a MoP Classic Siege of Orgrimmar encounter that alternates between two different phases. The first phase involves damage output and Tank mechanics. Meanwhile, Phase 2 entails a pursuit stage where Thok targets players while other members of the raid rescue a captive to reset the encounter.
Thok the Bloodthirsty Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Phase 1: Tanks swap at 4 stacks of Fearsome Roar.
- Phase 2: Thok fixates players and must be kited around the room.
- Kill the Kor’kron Jailer quickly and free a prisoner to reset Phase 2.
- Watch Thok’s speed increase from Blood Frenzy.
- Phase 1 restarts after a prisoner is eaten, adding new abilities each time.
- Do not stand behind Thok during Phase 1.
- Prisoner order: Gorai first, Akolik second, Montak last.
Siegecrafter Blackfuse
There is only one phase to Siegecrafter Blackfuse of Siege of Orgrimmar in Mists of Pandaria Classic. The primary challenge that you will have to face in the fight is provided by the rotating conveyor belt. You must engage in combat with the boss, defeat Automated Shredders, and get onto the rotating conveyor belt to disarm the deadly weapons.
Siegecrafter Blackfuse Strategy in MoP Classic:
- Tanks swap at 7 stacks of Electrostatic Charge.
- Off-tank picks up Automated Shredders immediately when they spawn.
- Keep Shredders away from the boss and kill them quickly.
