- Find Lorewalker Cho to continue the storyline.
- Progress through the mandatory scenarios in Dun Morogh and Vale of Eternal Blossoms to unlock Battlefield Barrens — Blood in the Snow and Dark Heart of Pandaria.

Battlefield Barrens is the new time-limited World Event in Phase 4, taking place in the Northern Barrens, rewarding you with pets, toys, and gear for your alts. The event revolves around the Darkspear Rebellion’s conflict with Garrosh’s Kor’kron loyalists and requires you to undermine the Warchief’s supply lines.
What you do in Battlefield Barrens:
- Defeat Kor’kron loyalists and collect resources (meat, stone, lumber).

MoP Classic Phase 4 New Scenarios
Pandaria Classic Phase 4 adds four new scenarios alongside Heroic versions of all existing ones. Two scenarios are mandatory for the Escalation Campaign (and to get access to the Battlefield Barrens event), and two are optional but worth running for rewards.
Mandatory Scenarios (Campaign progress):
- Blood in the Snow — Assist Varian and the Dark Iron Dwarves in defeating Ice Trolls at Shimmer Ridge. Horde players take on a Human role for this scenario.
- Dark Heart of Pandaria — Lorewalker Cho witnesses Garrosh’s true nature as the leader of the Horde. Alliance players take on a Goblin role to advance the storyline.
Optional Scenarios (additional rewards):
- The Secrets of Ragefire – Faster-paced scenario with two bosses. Lower difficulty, great for quick runs. But, you will transform into a Goblin with the “Gob Squad Recruit” title.

MoP Classic Heroic Scenarios
The new endgame feature, and the best addition, is the Heroic version of the scenarios, part of Phase 4 of Pandaria Classic. All the existing and new scenarios have now been given the Heroic version, with increased difficulty, new game mechanics, and much better rewards.
Key facts about MoP Classic Heroic Scenarios:
- Require a 3-player premade group, cannot be accessed through the random finder.
- Reward a Heroic Cache of Treasures upon completion.
- The cache contains gold and, with a very small chance, an ilvl 516 Epic Item with random enchant, bind-on-pick-up.
- Without a new raid in Phase 4, the highest non-Heroic Throne of Thunder item is the 516 ilvl from Heroic Scenarios.
- Heroic Scenarios also give more Valor Points than the Normal version.
📌 The daily bonus rule: You can receive the Valor bonus from either the Normal or the Heroic Scenario each day, but not both. If you have a solid trio, make sure to complete the Heroic version, as the rewards are much better.

MoP Classic Phase 4 Legendary Questline
If you have completed the first three chapters of Wrathion’s legendary questline, then Phase 4 is unlocked, and Chapter IV: Celestial Blessings is ready to be completed. In this chapter, you’ll have to visit the August Celestials across Pandaria, and the completion reward is one of six possible ilvl 600 Epic Cloaks.

Phase 4 introduces an important update to the Brawler’s Guild, found in Brawl’gar Arena (Orgrimmar) and Bizmo’s Brawlpub (Stormwind). The Brawler’s Guild now features new boss ranks, VIP status, and the brand-new Challenge Cards system.
