Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Professions Updates
Professions are significantly improved in MoP Classic. Now, in Patch 5.0.5, you can start leveling a desired profession without worrying that the process is hard and boring. Gathering professions are available for training in Pandaria, so your leveling process is even more streamlined. Crafting professions introduce new, exciting things like powerful epics, useful trinkets, and mounts.
Each primary profession in MoP continues to offer in-game stat boosts, primarily geared towards PvE and PvP progression. Unlike in Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria balanced and standardized all combat bonuses, meaning each profession now grants roughly the same level of stats. This change allows players to choose professions based on personal preference or character theme, rather than following a strict meta. And our Profession Kits allow you to level up any profession faster than ever.
We’ve prepared an overview of professions to help you choose The Best Profession in Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Raid
Mists of Pandaria Classic Patch 5.0.5 raids are the best PvE content. Phase 1 welcomes players with the first MoP Classic raid — Mogu’shan Vaults (MSV), which will become a source of the best gear for many players, while they are waiting for the second raid and Tier 14 sets to become available.
Providing Normal and Heroic modes in 10-player and 25-player versions, raids are an attraction to all types of playstyle and guild size. Bonus rolls through Elder Charm of Good Fortune also provide a second chance at high-end loot, making raid preparation a measure of success. Consider completing Mogu’shan Vaults with the help of our team to do it quickly and with a guarantee that the rewards will be yours.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Gearing
Effective gearing is crucial in MoP Classic Phase 1, and there are multiple paths to quickly boost your item level. Quest rewards provide you with early gear improvements, and crafted epics result in big item level leaps early on. Heroic dungeons are your first source of pre-raid gearing. Reputation factions and world bosses provide further gear improvements.
In general, once you reach 90, your gearing progression typically follows this route:
- Quest Rewards: ilvl 450 rares from zones like Dread Wastes and scenarios;
- Crafted Epics: ilvl 476 gear from Blacksmiths, Tailors, etc., using max-skill and rare materials;
- Heroic Dungeons: Farm ilvl 463 blues; rare bosses drop 476 epics;
- Reputation Gear: Factions sell ilvl 489 epics at Revered/Exalted;
- World Bosses: Sha of Anger and Galleon drop ilvl 496 epics weekly;
- Raids: MSV (489).
✏️ Tip: Mixing these sources helps you hit the ilvl requirement for early raids (around 460).
If you want to start raiding without a delay, but you don’t want to spend hours on gearing, we offer to ask our team to get you specific pre-raid Gear. You’ll receive a full set of appropriate items that will allow you to deal with any raid boss and be a proud member of your raid group.

MoP Classic Phase 1 New Dungeons Difficulty
To make the game more interesting, dynamic, and challenging, Challenge Mode was introduced in MoP Classic. This mode features new rules and has a set of requirements for those who want to engage in this activity.
Challenge Mode rewards are based on the system of 3 tiers of medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each tier is tied to a timer, specific to each dungeon, so you’ll have to do your best to get the best rewards. Underperforming is punished.
