Honor Points are the primary early PvP currency in Mists of Pandaria Classic. It is used to purchase Dreadful Gladiator gear, which is the entry-level PvP set for the expansion. Honor is also used to buy higher-level PvP gear, but for that, players will also need to spend Conquest.
Honor gear helps you get started in battlegrounds, world PvP, and arenas. It can also be a decent starting point for raiding, although for PvP activities, you should replace it with PvE gear as soon as you can. Let’s take a look at how to earn Honor in the most quick and efficient manner.
The Fastest Way to Grind Honor in MoP Classic
The fastest way to grind Honor in MoP Classic is by queuing for Battlegrounds and hunting PvP rares in Krasarang Wilds. Both options offer great Honor gains and can be done solo or with a group. Battlegrounds Honor Farming in MoP Classic
Battlegrounds are the most consistent source of Honor Points. They are available at any time through the PvP queue interface. You can queue solo or in a group. Winning earns significantly more Honor than losing, but both outcomes give points.
Call to Arms is the most efficient choice for queue-based farming. Call to Arms offers bonus Honor Points and sometimes Conquest Points for completing a featured battleground. The featured battleground changes twice a week.
To earn the bonus rewards, you must queue for the specific battleground directly; entering it through the Random Battleground option does not grant the CtA bonus.

The first win each day in a CtA battleground offers increased rewards, with lesser bonuses for losses or draws. Focus on Random Battlegrounds daily and queue into specific maps only if you’re targeting achievements or fast wins! An even faster way to farm Honor via Battlegrounds in MoP is by having a pre-made group. This will shorten your queue times and increase your chances of winning.
Honor Points from Rares in Mists of Pandaria Classic
There are 6 rare mobs in Krasarang Wilds that drop honor badges, which grant 250 Honor Points each. They are also a target of a PvP daily quest available to both factions. Out of these 6 mobs, only 3 are available for each faction, since 3 of them are Horde Champions and 3 of them are Champions of the Alliance. In Mists of Pandaria Classic, Horde players can buy Honor gear from Lok’nor Bloodfist in Kun-Lai Summit at 35.4, 83.4. Alliance players can buy Honor gear from Hayden Christophen in Valley of the Four Winds at 12.2, 34.0.
Both vendors sell the full Dreadful Gladiator set for Honor Points. This is the main entry-level PvP gear for level 90 characters.
