How to Prepare for Brawlers Guild in MoP Classic
The main preparation for MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild fights starts with getting your invitation and stepping into the arena. Still, if this is your first time, there are a few key things you’ll want to keep in mind:
- There are 7 ranks and 28 bosses;
- Enemies have a Cast Bar that you need to watch out;
- Enemies have Name Plates;
- You can change Talents using Dust of Disappearance;
- Consumables such as Flasks or Food are not obligatory, but very helpful.
All in all, think of it as a raid boss fight, where your major task is to stay alive. But this time, you won’t have a tank and a healer at hand to save you, so plan a strategy wisely. You also might need to check and update your Gear if you want to win. Our team is ready to assist with obtaining the BiS gear for you.
How to Start a Brawlers Guild Fight in MoP Classic
Once you enter the Brawlers Guild Arena in Mists of Pandaria Classic, you have two options: stay for a while and watch other players’ matches, or start a fight. Interact with one of the Arena Grunts and say, “Yes, Sign me Up for a Fight” to begin.
📌 If other players in your instance are already fighting, you have to wait till it’s your turn; you will be assigned a place in the queue.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank One
Rank One in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild is the intro stage, where you’ll get familiar with the core arena mechanics. There aren’t any complex combos here yet, but you can still get knocked out fast if you ignore boss abilities. Make sure you have all enemy UI indicators on, especially buffs. At Rank One, prepare to face four fights:
- Bruce;
- Vian the Volatile;
- Goredome;
- Dungeon Master Vishas.
Bruce
Bruce is the first Rank One boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, a massive crocodile.
- Danger: His Chomp Chomp can one-shot you if you stay close during the cast. This is especially deadly for melee.
- Strategy: Watch his cast bar and step away when the bite animation starts. Ranged players should position themselves to keep damage uptime while backing off. Melee classes should move behind him and keep attacking while he channels the ability.
Vian the Volatile
The second Rank One boss is Vian the Volatile, a shaman who fights with fire magic.
- Danger: The arena slowly fills with fire zones, leaving less room to move.
- Strategy: Pop your burst cooldowns right from the start to burn him down quickly. The faster you kill him, the easier it is to survive.
Goredome
The third Rank One fight is Goredome, a boss with a deadly charge.
- Danger: Lumbering Charge creates a red circle that deals lethal damage.
- Strategy: Whether you’re melee or ranged, the circle spawns under you, so move out as soon as it appears. He often opens with this ability, so stay mobile right from the start.
Dungeon Master Vishas
Dungeon Master Vishas is the final Rank One boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild. He uses debuffs and empowered attacks.
- Danger: Hot Poker boosts his damage, and a single hit with the buff can end the fight.
- Strategy: Root, slow, or fear him to keep your distance. Keep him under control whenever possible and watch his buffs closely. Don’t let him get too close when he’s empowered.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Two
Rank Two in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild already puts your awareness and reaction speed to the test. Here you’ll face unexpected mechanics like crowd control, arenas filled with traps, and even two bosses at once. Rank Two includes four encounters:
- Dippy;
- Kirrawk;
- Fran and Riddoh;
- King Kulaka.
Dippy
The first Rank Two boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild is Dippy, a small penguin with a deadly attack.
- Danger: His Peck can one-shot you if the cast isn’t interrupted.
- Strategy: Use instant abilities or auto-attacks to constantly interrupt his casts. Even if your class doesn’t have reliable interrupts, regular attacks will work. Just don’t push him into a corner—he’ll stop falling over and land a lethal strike.
Kirrawk
The second Rank Two boss is Kirrawk, a shaman who summons whirlwinds.
- Danger: Tornadoes will knock you up and toss you around, making it harder to deal damage.
- Strategy: Dodge the tornadoes whenever possible. If you do get caught, use your airtime to prepare for the next move. The fight is more forgiving than the previous ones, but ignoring the tornadoes will make it messy.
Fran and Riddoh
The third Rank Two fight throws you against both Fran and Riddoh at the same time.
- Danger: Fran roots you and plants mines around, while Riddoh throws nets to pin you down.
- Strategy: Escape through the clear path after roots and chip away at both bosses evenly. Killing one too early empowers the other, so keep their health balanced.
✏️ Tip: Watch Riddoh’s traps. When they disappear, Fran’s explosives detonate almost instantly; use that as your signal to get away from the mines.
King Kulaka
The final Rank Two boss is King Kulaka, and it’s a really massive dinosaur with brutal melee hits.
- Danger: His auto-attacks hurt a lot, especially for melee players.
- Strategy: Use defensive cooldowns, heals, and crowd control like roots or slows to survive. Ranged classes can kite him, while melee should prep defenses early. Start the fight by blowing all your cooldowns to chunk his HP, then kite until your CDs are back up, and repeat the cycle.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Three
At Rank Three in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, bosses start spamming clones, applying heavy DoTs, and pulling out one-shot mechanics. You’ll need quick reactions and smart cooldown management to survive. In Brawler’s Guild Rank Three, the following bosses will become your rivals:
- Blat;
- Sanoriak;
- Ixx;
- Mazhareen.
If any assistance is required at this stage, ask our Professional Players to help you out. They’ll ensure that the required bosses are dead before you blink.
Blat
Blat is the first Rank Three boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, a slime that spawns copies of itself.
- Danger: The clones move slowly but deal heavy damage on contact.
- Strategy: Focus on the real Blat (he moves faster than the clones) and use slows to control the copies. Kite the boss so you stay out of reach of the slimes and avoid unnecessary damage.
Sanoriak
Sanoriak is the second Rank Three boss, a fire mage with devastating spells.
- Danger: Flame Buffet stacks quickly, while Firewall cuts off parts of the arena.
- Strategy: Interrupt Flame Buffet whenever possible, and look for safe openings when Firewall goes up. This fight is all about cast control.
Ixx
Ixx is the third Rank Three boss in Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawler’s Guild fights, a lizard with a lethal thrust attack.
- Danger: Devastating Thrust can one-shot you if you’re in front of him.
- Strategy: Stay near the center of his hitbox and run through him when he starts casting. The AoE splash might clip you, but it’s safer than taking a direct hit. Plus, it lets you reposition behind him and keep up DPS.
Mazhareen
Mazhareen is the final Rank Three boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, a feral beast that grows deadlier over time.
- Danger: The lower the health gets, the stronger the boss’s attacks become.
- Strategy: Save cooldowns for when he drops below 50% HP, then unleash everything. In the final stretch, use every defensive and offensive tool to finish him off. If you have roots, stuns, freezes, or slows, this is the time to use them.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Four
Rank Four in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild is in the middle of the ladder, and it marks the turning point for the hardest bosses. They now combine crowd control, summon adds, and bring tough enrage timers. Mistakes here are barely forgiven, so precision matters. At this rank, you’ll fight the following bosses:
- Crush;
- Leona Earthwind;
- Dominika the Illusionist;
- Deeken.
Crush
Crush is the first Rank Four boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, a hulking beast with a devastating charge.
- Danger: His Charge stuns, and if the fight drags on, his enrage timer kicks in.
- Strategy: When he backs up to prepare for a rush, sidestep quickly. After crashing, he stuns himself; use this window to press all your cooldowns. Don’t play it safe; you’ve got about two minutes to deal big damage before the fight gets out of control.
Leona Earthwind
Leona Earthwind is the second Rank Four boss, a druid who’ll use both Balance and Nature magic against you.
- Danger: Earthliving Seed summons dangerous adds, while Solar Beam silences you.
- Strategy: The best thing you can do is deal damage to Leona fast while controlling her adds with slows and stuns. Also, avoid standing in Solar Beam to prevent being silenced, or the fight drags on and drains your resources.
Dominika the Illusionist
The third Brawler’s Guild Rank Four boss, Dominika the Illusionist, constantly creates clones of herself.
- Danger: Illusions spawn with every hit.
- Strategy: Use AoE abilities to wipe the illusions quickly, as they only have 1 HP. Their damage is not deadly, but the battlefield becomes crowded very fast if you don’t take care of these mobs. However, you should never lose sight of the real Dominika, or the fight turns into a nightmare.
Deeken
Deeken is the final Rank Four boss in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild, a mechanical gnome packed with electric traps.
- Danger: Electric bubbles slowly fill the arena, and his Mechano Kick can literally kick you straight into them.
- Strategy: Stay away from the bubbles and keep careful positioning. You should never stand in front of the boss, or his knockback will send you flying into the electrified zones, dealing tons of damage.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Five
Rank Five in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild keeps raising the bar. Here you’ll deal with long stuns, constant damage zones, and brutal enrage timers. Mistakes hit hard, so control and fast reactions are everything. Brawler’s Guild Rank Five features the following bosses:
- Millie Watt;
- Fjoll;
- Proboskus;
- Fleasy, Greazy, Queasy, Sleezy, Wheezy.
Millie Watt
Millie Watt meets you at Rank Five in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild. It’s a gnome engineer with deadly electric experiments.
- Danger: Electric Dynamite leaves a damaging field, while Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator stuns you for a period as long as the name of the spell itself (15 sec stun).
- Strategy: Step out of the electric field as soon as you can, but keep hitting the boss. There’s no escape when she starts casting the stun, so step back into the Electric Dynamite field to take a tick of damage, which cancels the stun, then move out immediately. Don’t overstay in the zone.
Fjoll
The second Rank Five boss, Fjoll, fills the arena with purple fire areas that you should avoid.
- Danger: Void Zones spawn under your character and deal massive damage. He can also knock you back into them.
- Strategy: The best strategy is to react early to the circles and reposition quickly. Watch where you stand so knockbacks don’t launch you into the fire. Mechanics are simple, but his damage is punishing.
Proboskus
Proboskus is the third Rank Five boss and one of the toughest in the tier.
- Danger: He enrages after just one minute, and his Torrent plus Rain Dance combo can almost insta-kill you.
- Strategy: Press all your burst cooldowns right away and interrupt Torrent on cast. During Rain Dance, keep moving constantly while dealing damage: the enrage timer doesn’t leave room for hesitation.
Fleasy, Greazy, Queasy, Sleazy, and Wheezy
Fleasy, Greazy, Queasy, Sleazy, and Wheezy are the gnome quintet that closes out Rank Five, attacking all at once.
- Danger: The Leperous Spew debuff stacks fast and will kill you if not dropped.
- Strategy: Start with the weakest gnome, Queasy, and take them down one by one. Once you reach 5–6 stacks of Leperous Spew, kite away for a few seconds to reset it. Smart kiting and control are key here; otherwise, the enrage will wipe you before you finish.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Six
Rank Six in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild is the last step before the final challenge. Bosses here use heavy control, summon waves of adds, and demand constant micromanagement. One mistake often means a wipe. Brawler’s Guild Rank Six brings the following bosses:
- Yikkan Izu;
- Akama;
- Smash Hoofstomp;
- Unguloxx.
At this stage, it really matters how well you are prepared. Best consumables, BiS Gear, and even enchantments can make a difference. If you need some specific gear pieces that will empower you, ask our team to get it.
Yikkan Izu
Yikkan Izu opens Rank Six and immediately tests your reaction speed.
- Danger: Ravens’ attacks are damaging, and Disorienting Shriek breaks your control and almost always leads to a wipe.
- Strategy: Interrupt the Disorienting Shriek cast instantly to avoid being disoriented, and kill the first ravens right away. If they’re left alive, the fight spirals out of control fast.
Akama
The second Rank Six boss in the Brawler’s Guild fight is Akama, a shaman who summons spirit wolves.
- Danger: Chain Lightning hits hard, and Shadow Strikes buffs his attacks to deadly levels.
- Strategy: Always interrupt Chain Lightning. Kite or kill the wolves before they overwhelm you. You should aim to avoid his attacks while the buff is active.
Smash Hoofstomp
The third Rank Six boss, Smash Hoofstomp, is a massive tauren. But he’s not the only one you’ll face here, as he’s carrying two goblins that make the fight tougher.
- Danger: Smash Hoofstomp’s frontal shield blocks all damage, while the goblins empower him.
- Strategy: To win this fight, kill each of the goblins first to remove the buffs. Only when the goblins are dead, attack the tauren from behind to bypass the shield. This encounter is very easy once you get rid of all the extra participants. If you don’t, it becomes very long, and you just lose your resources and time.
Unguloxx
Finally, Unguloxx closes out Rank Six and is known as one of the nastiest opponents in the Brawler’s Guild.
- Danger: Extremely high damage, very short enrage timer.
- Strategy: If playing ranged classes, you should kite the boss constantly, using slows and roots to stay safe. Melee players must rotate all defensive cooldowns and take breaks for heals or bandages if needed. All in all, just try to stay alive as long as possible, avoid hits, and reposition a lot.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Rank Seven
Rank Seven in the MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild is the final stage of fights in Patch 5.5.1. The last stage of the challenge has complex mechanics that demand focus and top-tier DPS. In fact, many players get stuck at this rank due to harsh survival and damage checks. The final MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild bosses are:
- Bo Bobble;
- Dark Summoner;
- Battletron;
- Meatball.
Bo Bobble
Bo Bobble is the first Rank Seven boss, fighting alongside his partner, Max Megablast.
- Danger: Max’s rockets deal nasty AoE damage, but they can also hit both enemies.
- Strategy: When fighting these two bosses, you should kill them one by one. First, stick close to Bo Bobble and kite him into the red-marked circles when Max Megablast fires rockets. Time your movement so Bo Bobble takes the blast instead of you. Once Bo is dead, focus on Max.
Dark Summoner
Dark Summoner is the second Rank Seven boss who can summon deadly spirits.
- Danger: Summoned ghosts kill instantly on contact.
- Strategy: Use the arena’s light to stun the ghost, then kill it before swapping back to Dark Summoner. Repeat this cycle until the boss goes down.
Battletron
The third Rank Seven fight is Battletron, a straight DPS check.
- Danger: He constantly summons mines, and his enrage timer is very short.
- Strategy: Don’t waste a second, use burst cooldowns right at the start while he’s summoning mines. If possible, blow up some mines to give yourself more space to deal damage.
Meatball
Meatball closes Rank Seven of the Brawler’s Guild encounters in MoP Classic and features a unique buff mechanic.
- Danger: His high health and short enrage can overwhelm unprepared players.
- Strategy: Collect the orbs that drop each time you hit him to stack a damage buff. Once you’ve built 30–40 stacks, unleash all cooldowns to burn him down quickly.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Brawlers Guild Achievements
Though there are lots of unique rewards for participating in boss fights, MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild also grants lots of achievements:

- You Are Not Your $#*@! Legplates — Earned after your very first victory in the arena.
- I’m Your Number One Fan — Cheer for another player after their win. Just type /cheer while in the arena.
- Haters Gonna Hate — You need to stack You Stink! by catching rotten fruit thrown by the crowd. Collect 10 stacks and still manage to defeat your boss. Rotten fruits (Rotten Watermelon, Rotten Apple) are sold by special NPCs: Esme Sunshadow in Orgrimmar and Lidiya Peyton in Stormwind.
