FragPunk S-Tier Weapons
S-Tier weapons in FragPunk have the highest level of performance about their damage, accuracy, and versatility. They lead their classes and are highly recommended for competitive and casual play and playthroughs. They have top-class performance with high reliability.
Fever
- Damage: Head: 91/83/75, Body: 35/32/29, Limb: 31/28/26
- Fire Rate: 522 RPM
- ADS Speed: Moderate
- Usage: Best for medium to long-range fights, rewarding precise shots.
The Fever assault rifle is one of the best all-purpose weapons in Fragpunk. It possesses fantastic headshot capability with a well-controllable to-hold-off rifle that is a solid choice for both new players and pros. While it does have a lower rate of attack and does have some manageable recoil to it, it does have rewarding massive damage if shots hit. Players who have used and enjoyed the AK-47 in Counter-Strike will have some familiarity with it as it does take some speed reduction to be more effective. Holding angles or aggressive fights with it, Fever is one of the game’s more versatile guns.
Resolver
- Damage: Head: 300/260, Body: 150/130, Limb: 142/123
- Fire Rate: 40 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.47 sec
- Usage: Best suited for defensive sniping and holding key sightlines.
The Resolver bolt-action sniper rifle is a solid pick with a slow firing that’s good at long-range shots. It spews out a massive headshot multiplier to make it a guaranteed one-shot if you do hit. It’s slow to shoot, though, so missing will make you regret it. It doesn’t like quick-scoping enemies like Highlife excels at, but rather likes to hang at tactical corners. Resolver is your best bet if you like to play sniper slowly.
Bad Moon-S
- Damage: Head: 154/132, Body: 70/60, Limb: 66/57
- Fire Rate: 300 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.30 sec
- Usage: Perfect for mobile snipers who want speed over sheer power.
The Bad Moon-S marksman rifle is a very capable marksman rifle that occupies a niche between sniping and assault rifles. This weapon enables fast follow-up shots and quicker ADS than Bad Reputation. It does sacrifice some damage in favor of more fires per second but caters to those who like to play fast and aggressively. It also has a built-in suppressor that reduces some of the noise to make stealth plays more accessible.
Vicious
- Damage: Head: 150/143/133, Body: 73/70/65, Limb: 65/63/58
- Fire Rate: 250 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.18 sec
- Usage: Best for players with high accuracy who want a strong backup weapon.
The Vicious pistol is the best secondary weapon in Fragpunk — but only if you can land headshots consistently. A headshot from this weapon can make a one-hit kill from medium range. It’s unlike full-automatic pistols because it’s a risk-reward gun — miss with it and you can find yourself in a bad spot in a firefight, but hit your shots and you’ll be killing enemies in no time. It’s like shooting with the Desert Eagle in Counter-Strike, so it’s good to have if you like to shoot straight rather than spray.
Meat Maker
- Damage (per pellet): Head: 25×11/18×11/15×11, Body/Limb: 17×11/12×11/10×11
- Fire Rate: 100 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.20 sec
- Usage: Best suited for aggressive, close-quarters combat.
The Meat Maker Shotgun is the king of close combat. If you are in range, this shotgun will virtually guarantee a one-shot kill due to its raw damage and high pellet spread. Even if you fail to get a perfect headshot, stray pellets can often clean up enemies. Its slow reload, though, means missing your shot or being put into a protracted fight leaves you exposed. If you enjoy getting up close and personal, Meat Maker is your best option.
Mad Dog-S
- Damage: Head: 39/36/33, Body: 26/24/22, Limb: 22/20/18
- Fire Rate: 759 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.23 sec
- Usage: Ideal for aggressive players who want a balanced SMG.
The Mad Dog-S SMG is a high-damage submachine gun with a moderate rate of fire. It does slightly more impressive damage per shot than the Clampdown but has a slower rate of fire, so you’ll need to make your shots count for it to be effective. Its recoil is hard to control at a distance, but close to mid-range, it’s a good and deadly option. If you desire a gun that will reward skill but also allow for SMG mobility, Mad Dog-S is a solid option.
FragPunk A-Tier Weapons
A-Tier guns in FragPunk are powerful and reliable weapon choices but lack some small things that prevent them from being tier S. They can still be extremely viable in the right situation and with the right playstyle. These weapons are good but have small issues.
In FragPunk, you can upgrade your weapons. If you have a favorite weapon but don’t want to spend time leveling it up, we can help! Just reach out to us, and we’ll quickly Level Up Your Weapon to the desired level.
Bad Reputation
- Damage: Same as Bad Moon-S
- Fire Rate: 300 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.30 sec
- Usage: Best for players who prioritize precision but can manage recoil.
The Bad Reputation marksman rifle has excellent accuracy and lots of damage but low magazine capacity and high recoil, making it more difficult to handle in extended battles. While it can be deadly in skilled hands, it’s inferior to the Bad Moon-S because of its slower handling time.
Highlife
- Damage: Head: 300/240/200, Body: 150/120/100, Limb: 135/108/90
- Fire Rate: 61 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.25 sec
- Usage: Ideal for aggressive snipers who need quick follow-up shots.
The Highlife sniper rifle is a quick and nimble sniper rifle ideal for aggressive players. It is less punishing when you miss a shot compared to Resolver since it has a higher fire rate. Although its headshot damage is lower when far away, it is conducive to close repositioning and follow-up shots. If you are a nimble type of sniper player, Highlife is ideal.
Discipline
- Damage: Same as Fever
- Fire Rate: 522 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.27 sec
- Usage: Best for players who prefer a more stable, rapid-fire AR.
The Discipline assault rifle is a lighter version of the Fever that fires more often but less overall damage. It has a more even recoil curve, which is easier to manage in extended fights. It may not land as heavy on headshots, but it has rapid successive fire, so it is great for those who prefer speed over pure power.
Ghost Pepper
- Damage: Head: 98/87, Body: 28/25, Limb: 26/23
- Fire Rate: 600-800 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.29 sec
- Usage: Best for holding angles and locking down objectives.
The Ghost Pepper LMG is a high-damage LMG that is great at suppressing groups of enemies. It boasts an enormous magazine and incapacitating firepower that makes it perfect for controlling areas. Its spool-up time does make you need to be a bit preemptive with your shots, though. Ghost Pepper is a good option with minimal recoil if you like pinning down objectives and suppressing enemy positions.
My Way
- Damage: Head: 87/80, Body: 25/23, Limb: 23/21
- Fire Rate: 652 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.28 sec
- Usage: Best for players who prefer a more mobile LMG.
The My Way LMG is a lighter and swifter Ghost Pepper with quicker engagement ability. It deals less damage but has a better response to fire rate, making it suitable for aggressive play where response time is critical. Unlike the Ghost Pepper, it shoots full speed right away, which is helpful for quick duels.
Clampdown
- Damage: Head: 33/28/22, Body: 22/19/15, Limb: 18/16/12
- Fire Rate: 1091 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.20 sec
- Usage: Best for fast-moving players who excel in close-range fights.
The Clampdown SMG is an actual close-range submachine gun with one of the game’s fastest fire rates. It incinerates enemies at close range but is useless at mid-to-far range because of its massive recoil and low bullet damage. If you like fast-paced combat and aggressive flanking, this SMG is for you.
Boom Broom
- Damage (per pellet): Head: 22×8/18×8/15×8, Body/Limb: 15×8/12×8/10×8
- Fire Rate: 222 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.18 sec
- Usage: Best for players who want more consistent damage in close quarters.
The Boom Broom Shotgun is a semi-automatic shotgun used for aggressive and quick gameplay. It does not have the one-shot kill of the Meat Maker auto shotgun in favor of quick successive fires. It is more forgiving in case you make a mistake, but takes over one hit to kill.
FragPunk B-Tier Weapons
B-Tier weapons are good in FragPunk but underperform versus higher-bracket options. They can still be used in a pinch but frequently need a bit of extra effort to work. Only consider these options if convenience is a more important factor than pure damage.
B-tier weapons might not be the most convenient choice for unlocking competitive play. But don’t worry, you can reach out to us, and we’ll quickly Unlock Ranked mode for you, so you can start climbing the ranks as soon as possible!
Cold Shoulder
- Damage: Head: 46/40, Body: 23/20, Limb: 19/17
- Fire Rate: 600 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.19 sec
- Usage: Best for players who need a reliable, easy-to-use secondary.
The Cold Shoulder Pistol is an automatic pistol that sacrifices raw power for friendly fire rates. Dealing less damage per shot, it is more playable when fired in firefighting for extended durations, making it a good role among weapons for players who struggle with precise aiming.
Cure All
- Damage: Head: 70/64, Body: 35/32, Limb: 29/27
- Fire Rate: 333 RPM
- ADS Speed: 0.15 sec
- Usage: Best for players who want sustained fire over raw power.
The Cure All pistol is a burst-fire-capable, high-capacity handgun. Although it deals somewhat less damage per shot than Vicious, it has more forgiving hip-fire accuracy and a high number of magazines. It is thus better suited to players who prioritize sustained fire over dangerous precision shots.
