Chapter 2 represents the next step in Dune: Awakening’s story progression. Picking up after the events of Chapter 1, this free update will continue the story. New and returning characters, and fresh locations, will expand the scope of the story while setting up future conflicts.
Along with the story, players can look forward to several new gameplay additions. Character re-customization is now possible, with Suk doctors and the Bene Tleilax in both Harko Village and Arrakeen. This means you can adjust your character’s appearance after creation.

Dune Awakening The Lost Harvest DLC
Releasing alongside the free update is the game’s first paid DLC, The Lost Harvest. Unlike the main story continuation, this DLC offers a standalone storyline centered around a downed spice harvester. Shot out of the sky while under the Miner’s Guild’s care, its cargo may hold secrets capable of changing the balance on Arrakis. It is up to you to recover the wreck and uncover what was lost.
The DLC also expands the game with new gameplay and cosmetic options. Chief among them is the Treadwheel, a nimble desert vehicle with unique animations and upgrade tiers. This addition gives players another way to traverse the sands, though it offers no material advantage over base game vehicles.

Cosmetic additions round out the package with two armor skins, four weapon skins, five base decorations, and the Dune Man building set, which allows players to construct bases styled after Arrakis’ workers. A Thumper emote is also included, letting players interact with the desert in a unique way.
