Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event Overview

Dead by Daylight Event in The Division 2 is a timed crossover Event Pass themed around Dead by Daylight. Its cosmetics are themed around some of the most iconic Killers of DBD, such as The Huntress, The Deathslinger, The Oni, and The Trapper.

Progression through the Dead by Daylight Event Pass can be done with any means of acquiring Season XP during the event. This includes doing missions, completing activities, open-world farming, and other means of progressing. During the first week of the event, rage harvests will award additional Event Pass XP via Stars. So this is the best period to grind.

The event is good not only for casual players but for collectors too. Free rewards provide two Killer-themed outfits, whereas the Premium Track provides additional cosmetics and two Exotic Caches. Ubisoft officially confirms that the Dead by Daylight Event Pass will be available from June 30 to July 14, 2026.

How to Progress the Dead by Daylight Event Pass

To advance the Dead by Daylight Event Pass, gain Season XP via regular gameplay. You don’t need to change into a different playlist or wait in a separate event queue. Simply play The Division 2, and watch out for your Event Pass unlocks.

While in Rage Harvest, each Star will grant you 50 XP for the Dead by Daylight Event Pass. Therefore, this will be the optimal week to make rapid progress. If you can dedicate only limited time to the game, then try to do it during the Rage Harvest period.

To make grinding easy, play content that you can complete quickly without wiping. Such content may include Control Points, missions, activities, or even backup calls – just depends on what type of build you play. Personally, I would avoid messy and lengthy runs unless you desperately require some drops from them.

If you want to focus on the event rewards without turning the whole week into a grind session, our team can help with Division 2 Event Pass progress, Rage Harvest Stars, and seasonal activity farming. It is a good option if you have limited time but still want to claim the Dead by Daylight cosmetics before the event ends.

Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event Pass Rewards

The Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event

The Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event rewards are split between Free Track and Premium Track. The free side gives you The Deathslinger and The Huntress cosmetics. The paid side adds The Oni, The Trapper, and two Exotic Caches.

Premium TrackThe Oni Outfit
Premium TrackThe Oni’s Mask Backpack Trophy
Premium TrackThe Trapper Outfit
Premium TrackThe Trapper’s Machete Backpack Trophy

The Premium Track costs 1000 VC. If you only care about getting a few Dead by Daylight cosmetics, the Free Track is already decent. If you want the full Killer set, the Premium Track is the only way to get Oni and Trapper rewards.

Division 2 Rage Harvest Global Event

The Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event

The Rage Harvest Global Event ties in with the Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event. The Rage Harvest Event will take place from June 30 until July 7, 2026. In this event, all the enemies have an Overheal status that makes them extremely difficult to deal with in battle.

Upon striking the enemies, you restore their health and armor and provide them with yet another layer of defense. As time goes by, you can easily find yourself fighting an extremely durable enemy who can take damage much better than before.

This event has an unexpected twist because the more Overheal you deal, the more Rage you gain. Rage increases your Weapon Damage, RPM, Weapon Handling, Critical Hit Chance, and Critical Hit Damage.

Rage Harvest feels much better when your build can keep pressure on Overheal enemies. If your current setup feels too slow, our Division 2 Seasonal Meta Builds can help you get a stronger loadout for event farming, missions, and other seasonal activities.

How Guardian Angel Works in Rage Harvest

Guardian Angel acts as the failsafe to the Rage Harvest ability. Once your armor breaks down completely, it automatically triggers, providing you with invincibility to damage and Status Effects, removal of any existing Status Effects, and bonus movement speed.

Do not get used to using Guardian Angel in every single one of your fights. Guardian Angel has a cooldown after being activated, and an early activation followed by overextension can result in death once your armor breaks again.

Use Guardian Angel as a failsafe, not a complete defense. Pressure your opponents when you have Rage ready, but don’t forget about positioning.

Division 2 Rage Harvest Rewards

Rage Harvest has its own 10-tier milestone reward track. Ubisoft confirmed that it includes Named Item Caches, an Exotic Cache, and the Rage Harvest Mask. Rewards can be claimed during the event, and any missed rewards are moved to your mailbox.

Rage Harvest Reward TypeDetails
Milestone Track10 tiers
Cache RewardsNamed Item Caches
High-Value RewardExotic Cache
Cosmetic RewardRage Harvest Mask
Missed ClaimsSent to mailbox

The Rage Harvest Mask in Division 2 is the main cosmetic prize here. If you are already farming the Dead by Daylight Event Pass, you may as well push the Global Event track too. The two systems overlap enough that skipping one feels like wasted progress.

Best Way to Farm the Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event

There is an optimal approach to farming during the Dead by Daylight event, which combines standard farming for Season XP and Rage Harvest stars. While the Event Pass runs for two weeks, the Rage Harvest XP bonus is available only for one. This week can be considered optimal for grinding.

As for Rage Harvest, playing much more aggressively than usual would be required. Use your Overheal to earn Rage quickly and then make use of the damage increase to get into a positive snowball effect. Otherwise, after some time, Rage will start diminishing. Here is the best way to farm the Division 2 Dead by Daylight event:

  • Activate Rage Harvest while it is live.
  • Run content that gives steady Season XP.
  • Focus on enemies with Overheal to build Rage.
  • Use your Rage bonus to chain kills faster.
  • Earn Stars for extra Dead by Daylight Event Pass XP.
  • Claim milestone rewards before the event ends.
  • Check your mailbox if you forget to claim something.

Bonus XP Events during the Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event

The Division 2 Dead by Daylight Event also overlaps with several bonus XP windows. These are not DBD rewards, but they make the whole period better for account progress. If you need Shepherd levels, DZ progress, or SHD Watch gains, this update is well-timed.

Bonus EventDatesWhat It Gives
Shepherd XP BoostJune 30 – July 73x Shepherd XP from backup calls
Dark Zone SurgeJuly 7 – July 143x DZ XP and double DZ Currency
SHD XP BoostJuly 14 – July 213x SHD XP for SHD Watch progress

Shepherd XP Boost pairs nicely with casual farming. Answer backup calls, help other Agents, and progress while working on the Event Pass. Dark Zone Surge is better for players who enjoy DZ tension and want extra currency.

SHD XP Boost starts after the Dead by Daylight Event Pass ends. It will not help you finish the DBD track, but it gives you a reason to keep playing after the event. That is a nice follow-up if you are already back in the grind mood.
