Touch of Death Rotation

The Diablo IV Touch of Death build is based on incredible Vigor demand. The efficient management of Vigor, provide you to spam Touch of Death as much as possible. Rod of Kepeleke makes Touch of Death into an important skill you can use for free with Poised Touch of Death with a very high chance of getting critical strikes, and when paired with Ring of the Midnight Sun it makes for really consistent Vigor upkeep-leading to a smooth, efficient rotation. More so, Touch of Death gains from the Insatiable Aspect to become even more powerful.

Counterattack and Armored Hide grant passive survivability, and Scourge and Ravager offer crowd control with some bonus damage. Last, your Ultimate, The Hunter, increases your damage even more, which makes this an awesome and high-damage build.

In general, you will want to include Scourge in your rotation both before and after The Hunter to get greater use of the Intricacy and Reinforced Scourge synergy.

Let’s see how the Diablo 4 Touch of Death Rotation looks in action:

  1. Use Ravager to start the fight.
  2. Armored Hide for increased protection.
  3. Counterattack for increased critical strike damage.
  4. Cast Scourge for crowd control, Vigor generation, and to interact with Intricacy.
  5. The Hunter Ultimate for even more damage.
  6. Scourge again to benefit from the increased Vigor regeneration rate for 6 seconds.

Spirit Hall Choice

The Spirit Hall allows you to pick two Touch of Death Spirit Guardians or stay with one Guardian. For this build, we choose two:

  • Primary Spirit Guardian: Gorilla. Casting a Gorilla skill also casts Thorns on enemies you hit and grants you a Barrier. All your skills turn into Gorilla skills.
  • Secondary Spirit Guardian: Jaguar. With this Guardian, your Maximum Ferocity is increased by 1. Gain a stack of Ferocity whenever you kill a mob or damage a Boss.

The Gorilla will be our main Spirit Guardian in this endgame build since it has the ability to extend survivability through its Barrier, allowing us more focus on maximizing damage without constantly staying alive. We chose the Jaguar as our secondary Spirit Guardian for the Ferocity boost to further enhance our offense.

Touch of Death Best Runewords

Runewords, unlocked during the Vessel of Hatred campaign in Season of Hatred Rising, can reinforce the build’s strength or fix its weaknesses. Two variants of Runewords are needed to combine to create a new effect:

  • A trigger Runeword, like Ritual, generates Offerings when its condition is met.
  • A special Act effect Runeword, such as Invocation, uses Offerings to trigger a particular action.

When the Ritual Runeword has generated enough Offerings, the Invocation Runeword is activated. Some of the Invocation Runewords even have overflow effects in which more Offerings will continue to buff the action that was activated. Runewords occupy the socket slots of equipment, and only two pairs-one pair on equipment that equips two, and another on equipment that also equips two-can be used at one time. Any of the required Runewords can be acquired with the help of our pro team, so do not hesitate to use our services and skip the grind.

In Vessel of Hatred, you have a lot of NPC Mercenaries that can join you along the way. You can take any mercenary for the earliest parts of the endgame without any worries since mercenaries won’t be super crucial until the very optimization of your build. But in our opinion, Aldkin and Raheir are the Best Mercenaries for  Touch of Death Build. You can take Aldkin as your main companion and Raheir as your Reinforcement.
