Welcome to our Diablo 4 Spiritborn Evade Eagle Build guide. In Diablo IV, we’ve always believed that optimizing your gameplay experience is essential, especially for high-end content. One of the standout builds for maximizing your mobility, crowd control, and burst damage in the current meta is the Evade Eagle Spiritborn build. This guide provides a comprehensive and detailed breakdown, reflecting updated changes for Season 12 of Diablo IV, and aiming to help players excel in the latest endgame challenges.
Evade Eagle Overview
The Diablo 4 Evade Eagle build is one of the fastest Spiritborn setups in the game and still feels great in Season 12. By stitching in powerful evasive maneuvers, we weave together with Spirit-based abilities. We intend to provide a build that will excel in survivability without sacrificing much in terms of damage output. Evade Eagle playstyle shines in high-level content by providing excellent control and versatility, hence doing extremely well for players who prefer fast-paced, tactical gameplay.
Most of your damage still comes from the Storm Feathers from using Eagle Primary Spirit Hall, while Thunderspike helps you maintain the loop early on. The build initially uses the Evade Weaving, alternating attacks with dodges, while later on, with your gear available, the Evade Spiritborn changes into a proper Evadeborn spamming the evade attack almost non-stop.
It’s a great build for speedfarming, progression, as well as comfortable endgame clears, with the Mythic build performing very well in speedfarming and bossing, while the Push build is more for Pit and Tower progression. If you want a Spiritborn build that remains fast, flashy, and extremely easy to enjoy for a whole season, the Evade Eagle remains a great choice.
Strengths and Weaknesses
If you like speed and excitement, the Evade Eagle is for you. And here we have collected its pros and cons.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
| ✅ Great survivability | ⛔️ Does not work without the Sepazontec Unique |
| ✅ Easy to play | ⛔️ Not the Highest Damage |
| ✅ Super Fast | — |
In the sections below, we’ll explain why this build doesn’t work without the Sepazontec Unique item. You can also look out for powerful Mythic items or just get Resplendent Sparks for crafting that our team will get for you easily and quickly.
Build Requirements
In our Evade Eagle Build guide, you will find the main requirements for the Evade Eagle build to function correctly. The major change in the current Evade Eagle compared to previous versions is that this build no longer requires Sepazontec as a hard requirement. Instead, the focus should be on getting the Perma Evade setup, which essentially turns this build from Evade Weaving into the much stronger version.
To make the full Diablo IV Evade Eagle build relevant in endgame content, you need the following:
- + Evade Charges Boot implicit;
- Thunderspike on your Skill Bar with Accelerated Thunderspike enabled;
- 59%+ Total Evade Cooldown Reduction.
There is also a shortcut version of the build. Sepazontec is still relevant if you wish to smooth out the transition and avoid longer Evade Weaving, though it is no longer optimal. Later on, this build scales better if you use stronger endgame pieces such as Wushe Nak Pa, with The Seeker taking up the old ultimate spot in the final version.
Evade Eagle Skill Tree
To unlock the full potential of your Evade Eagle Build, it’s essential to allocate your talents correctly. The overall idea stays the same, but the endgame version now leans on Perma-Evade, stronger Seeker uptime, and a cleaner Intricacy loop instead of the old Devourer-based setup.
These are your major usable Diablo 4 Evade Eagle skills, which can be further enhanced with modifiers. You still build around fast movement, Storm Feathers, and Thunderspike resets, but the active skill bar now fits the modern Evade Spiritborn setup much better. You can also use our Build Check service if you don’t feel confident about your skill distribution or have any other questions.

Spirit Hall
The Spirit Hall allows you to combine two different Spirit Guardians or stay with one. Here we have the best Evade Eagle Spirit Hall choices for your build:
- Primary Spirit Guardian: Eagle.
Casting an Eagle Skill grants you a Storm Feathers movement bonus and gives you a damage boost. All skills are Eagle skills now. - Secondary Spirit Guardian: Eagle.
For every 4 meters you move, your Critical Strike Chance increases by 4%.
Evade Eagle Rotation
For maximum impact with the Evade Eagle build, you must use your rotation correctly. The list below shows the optimal Diablo 4 Spiritborn Evade Eagle rotation.
Early Rotation
- Use Thunderspike to apply Vulnerable and help reduce your Evade cooldown.
- Evade between Thunderspike attacks to keep your damage and movement flowing.
- Use Soar when you need fast repositioning, height changes, or safer movement through packs.
- Cast Armored Hide for protection and to keep your setup stable before harder pulls.
- Use Counterattack when needed, though in many situations it mainly stays on your bar for its passive value.
This is the early version of the rotation, where Evade Eagle still plays through Evade Weaving. At this stage, Thunderspike is still the button that “keeps the engine running” for us.
Endgame Rotation
Once your gear is ready and you reach the Perma-Evade breakpoint, the rotation changes:
- Start by casting Armored Hide.
- Immediately cast The Seeker to begin the Intricacy loop.
- Spam Evade as your main action.
- Instead of holding Thunderspike like in the earlier version, hold Armored Hide during the full Perma-Evade setup.
- Recast The Seeker whenever possible to keep permanent Critical Strikes and maintain Supremacy stacks.
- If your loop breaks or you run out of charges, use Rock Splitter as an emergency Gorilla skill until Armored Hide is ready again.
- Reset the loop with Armored Hide, then go back to blasting.
Evade Eagle Paragon Boards
Once you reach level 60, the Paragon system becomes available for your character, offering further progression. For the Evade Eagle, we recommend prioritizing Rare and Legendary nodes on the Paragon board that align with your build.
📌 You can obtain a total of 328 Paragon Points: 300 from Paragon Levels after reaching level 60, 24 from Renown, and 4 from Altars of Lilith.
If you prefer to avoid the intricacies and time-consuming aspects of this process, you can rely on Overgear for assistance, offering Paragon Level and various other services.
Glyph Leveling Priorities
For Glyphs, once you have enough points, it is generally recommended to fill your Glyph Sockets with at least Rare Glyphs. Don’t forget to fill Glyph Sockets immediately and then swap them out as appropriate when you gain more points.
The following is a prioritized list of highly recommended Rare Glyphs for Spiritborn Evade Eagle. All the recommendations are based on the assumption that the player has all stat requirements matched to apply these Rare Glyphs and their Additional Bonus:
| To Level 15 | To Level 46 |
|---|---|
| 1. Jagged Plume | 1. Jagged Plume |
| 2. Spirit | 2. Spirit |
| 3. Talon | 3. Canny |
| 4. Canny | 4. Talon |
| 5. Colossal | 5. Colossal |
Glyphs drop randomly and take a long time to obtain, and you need to complete a ton of dungeons on different difficulty levels to obtain at least one Glyph. But you don’t have to do it on your own, our professional players can get any Glyph for you!
Evade Eagle Gear
Gear is extremely important for the Diablo 4 Evade Eagle Spiritborn build as it allows you to reach your full potential. While it’s still important to get gear that increases your mobility, survivability, and damage potential, this current iteration of the build is heavily invested in Evade Cooldown Reduction, Storm Feathers Potency, The Seeker uptime, and high Dexterity scaling. In other words, your gear does more than just complement your Thunderspike; it’s what makes this a Perma-Evade build.

Evade Eagle Best Runes
Runewords in Diablo IV Season 12 are the additional enhancement for your gear and/or weapon. Evade Eagle build can have up to two Runewords, meaning that you can equip up to 2 Runes of each type — Ritual + Invocation — to form 2 Runewords. Below you can find the Best in Slot Runes and some alternative options to equip:
| Runeword Combination | Runeword Effects |
| Yul + Qax | Yul helps initiate the sequence by draining Vigor that you really don’t need with this build. Qax then takes that and gives it a nice boost in damage, making it the primary attack rune for the completed Evade Eagle setup. |
| Cem + Zec | Cem is there to support your loop, while Zec reduces your Ultimate cooldown, enabling you to spam “The Seeker” more effectively. This is one of the biggest upgrades this version of the build receives. |
Our team can get you any Runewords you want to save your time and improve your gameplay.
Evade Eagle Best Mercenaries
You have two types of Mercenaries for your Evade Eagle Spiritborn: Hired Mercenary, which stays with you as a permanent follower, and Reinforcement Mercenary, whom you’ll summon at crucial times.
For the current Evade Eagle, the safest choice is still Subo. This is because Evade Spiritborn is a great fit for the build, as it prioritizes map flow, faster enemy tracking, and maintaining kill streaks. Subo is especially valuable for maintaining kill streaks and spotting mobs more effectively.
- Hired Mercenary: Subo;
- Reinforcement Mercenary: Raheir;
- Alternative Reinforcement: Varyana.
