Delta Force Vlinder Gameplay

Delta Force Vlinder gameplay focuses on support. She is designed to help her team first and foremost. Vlinder rewards proactive positioning and ability timing. She can use drones and remote smoke bombs that allow her to heal, revive, and protect allies without exposing herself.

How to Play Vlinder in Delta Force

Vlinder isn’t meant to be out on the frontline. She works best when you play a bit safer, focusing on positioning and timing. Try to stay just behind your frontline teammates, close enough to see them and help, but not the first one taking fire.

Use Nano Medical Dust throughout the fight instead of waiting until everyone is nearly down, and make the most of her remote-controlled smoke grenade to control space. This can help with blocking enemy sightlines, protecting revives, and helping your team rotate. When it comes to her ultimate, Butterfly Rescue Drone System, timing is extremely important. Deploy it while the fight is heating up, not after things are already falling apart.

When played correctly, Vlinder can turn lost fights into recoverable ones. Want to learn how to play Delta Force and Vlinder better? Check out our Delta Force Coaching here at Overgear!

  • Remote-controlled smoke enables rotations and objective/area denial.
  • Passive ability provides extra value in both Operation and Warfare modes.

Delta Force Vlinder Weaknesses:

  • Limited offensive pressure when isolated.
  • Vulnerable if focused early in fights.

Delta Force Vlinder Abilities

Vlinder comes with a support kit. Her abilities let you heal allies, revive downed teammates, and control fights via removing lines of sight.

AbilityTypeDescription
Nano Medical DustTactical AbilityDeploys a healing drone that restores HP to allies in range
Remote-Controlled Smoke GrenadeUtilityManually guided smoke grenade for flexible cover
Butterfly Rescue Drone SystemUltimateDeploys rescue drones that heal, revive, and intercept explosives
Vital Signs MonitoringPassiveEnhances revive timers and Ultimate recharge depending on the mode

Basic Ability – Nano Medical Dust

Nano Medical Dust deploys a small medical drone that locks onto a targeted teammate and follows them for a short amount of time. The drone heals anyone within its range.

The ability has two ways to use it:

  • Short Press: Heal nearby allies
  • Long Press: Heal Vlinder herself

This ability lets Vlinder keep her team alive while still having a self-healing option.

Basic Ability – Remote-Controlled Smoke Grenade

Vlinder’s Remote-Controlled Smoke Grenade is a useful tool for controlling gunfights. After you throw it, you can direct it wherever you need. This makes it way more useful than a normal smoke.

Use it to block enemy sightlines, cover revives, control objectives, or just help your team move safely. It takes a little practice to get the placement right, but when you do, it can completely change how a fight plays out.

Passive Ability – Vital Signs Monitoring

Vlinder’s passive ability is called Vital Signs Monitoring. It changes depending on the game mode being played. In Operation Modes, downed teammates get extra time before going out, and using Nano Medical Dust highlights their silhouettes and health.

In Warfare Mode, reviving allies reduces the cooldown on her ultimate. This makes you able to use it more often in long fights. Overall, her passive rewards active gameplay and helping your team.

Ultimate Ability – Butterfly Rescue Drone System

Vlinder’s ultimate releases rescue drones in a 55-meter radius. These drones automatically seek out allies and provide critical support by:

  • Healing allies and restoring lost HP
  • Reviving downed teammates using cardiac pacing
  • Intercepting one instance of explosive damage while active

This ultimate can completely change the fight. However, it’s important to note that coordinated explosive attacks can overwhelm the drones, as they only block a single instance of explosive damage at a time.

Delta Force Best Team for Vlinder

Right now, we don’t have all the details on the ideal team compositions for Vlinder, but we’ll update this guide as soon as more information becomes available. Stay tuned, as once we know which operators pair best with her healing and utility, we’ll break down the perfect squad setup.

How to Counter Vlinder in Delta Force

Delta Force Vlinder Guide

Taking down Vlinder is all about staying focused and working as a team. Try to take her out early. If she doesn’t get her ultimate up, the enemy team loses a huge part of their healing and revives. When using explosives, don’t throw everything at once; her drones can only block one explosion, so it’s better to spread them out.

Fighting from a longer range helps too, since her healing drones need line of sight to be effective. Avoid pushing through tight choke points, where she can easily stabilize her team. Instead, attack from different angles and try to force her abilities onto cooldown. Disrupting her timing is the fastest way to shut her down.

Will Vlinder Be Meta in Delta Force?

Vlinder is expected to be a top-tier support operator in Season 8. Her ability to heal, revive, and protect multiple allies simultaneously gives her very high value in co-op play. In competitive games, Vlinder will likely become a staple pick for many players.
