Arc Raiders Stella Montis

Started on November 13, every player contributed materials to a shared progress bar to unlock Stella Montis in Arc Raiders. The map became available when the community completed both phases of the community unlock event:

  • Breaking New Grounds — gather and contribute materials in the Live Event tab to fill the meter;
  • Staking Our Claim — complete the required tasks and unlock Stella Montis map.

Now, when the map is fully unlocked, you can start exploring Stella Montis, fighting new ARCs and wandering around the corridors of the research facility. However, you can also ask our team to explore the map for you, getting all the rewards in no time.

Phase 1 Breaking New Ground

Arc Raiders Stella Montis

During the first Arc Raider Stella Montis unlock phase, all players donated basic materials gathered during raids. These items filled the global excavation meter in the Live Event tab. Here’s a list of materials that are required to switch to the second phase of Stella Montis unlocking in Arc Raiders:

  • Metal Parts x5;
  • Fabric x5;
  • Plastic Parts x70;
  • Rubber Parts x85;
  • Chemicals x65;

Each donation granted Merits (new event currency), up to a personal cap of roughly 900 for this phase. When reaching the cap, you can continue to donate to bring the community closer to the map unlock.

Phase 2 Staking Our Claim

Arc Raiders Stella Montis

Phase 2 of unlocking Arc Raiders Stella Montis started after the community completed Phase 1. This phase asks you to use the tunnel networks to reach Stella Montis and start earning XP on the map. Completing this task will reward you with Merits in accordance with the amount of XP earned.

Arc Raiders Stella Montis Location

Arc Raiders Stella Montis

The Stella Montis map in Arc Raiders is located high in the northern mountain range, far beyond the usual Rust Belt routes. In fact, Stella Montis is a sealed research facility located inside the rock. The environment is cold and controlled, surprisingly intact, which differentiates the map from other Arc Raiders regions.

You can make your way to Stella Montis through an extensive network of tunnels. These tunnels are narrow, highly trapped, and lead you right into the core of the mountain complex. You need to be well-prepared to enter this zone, as many experienced players will already be there. Our Legendary Raider Bundle can help you a lot in your preparations, making you a high-level rich extractor.

Arc Raiders Stella Montis Map

Stella Montis Map in Arc Raider consists of two layers, featuring different zones, as seen on the map:

  • Layer 1: Loading Bay (Metro Station), Lobby Metro (Metro Station), Sandbox (Raider Hatch), Seed Vault (Airshaft, Raider Hatch).
  • Layer 2: Assembly (Raider Hatch), Medical Research, Loading Bay (Metro Station), Lobby (Metro Station), Atrium, Cultural Archives (Raider Hatch).

Arc Raiders Stella Montis Strategy

Arc Raiders Stella Montis

The layout of Stella Montis combines tight research corridors, larger machine chambers built into the mountain, and lots of tunnels, connecting zones on the map. This kind of layout changes up the usual Arc Raiders combat flow from wide outdoor battles to close-quarters fights, so positioning matters more on this map than raw range.

The Stella Montis map also features new enemy types tied to the North Line update:

  • Shredder that pushes aggressive melee pressure in tight hallways;
  • Matriarch with heavy threat inside the deeper facility zones.

Make sure to learn How to Beat Every ARC in Arc Raiders with our guide.

The entry tunnels themselves may include traps and environmental hazards, so prepare yourself for extra mechanics before you even reach the main complex. However, if you don’t want to plan the strategy and simply want to get the most from Stella Montis, ask for a Pro Player assistance, and everything will be done in the blink of an eye.
